SUPPER CLUB - Thursday, Dec 26th
And that's a wrap! So much preparation and it's all over so quickly. But it was a nice Christmas here and I hope you all can say the same. It was the first time my sister has come 'home' for Christmas since she left to go into the Navy at age 18. She's 71 now. I think she had a really nice time. We sure did. But Scottie is so lonesome now for their little sheltie. He whined for 2 hours last night looking for his playmate.
Tonite's supper will be salad and chili and rolls. Any leftover chili will be frozen and packed into our trailer freezer for quick traveling meals. Though we won't be traveling for another couple of weeks.
Is anyone having new food tonite or are we all eating leftovers?

Good morning!
We are have new food tonight - polksa kielbasa, tortellini, broccoli - all cooked together and tossed with a swiss cheese sauce - one pot meal - DS3's favorite - I will make some bread too.
There is nothing as over as Christmas! We work so hard for weeks and then poof - oh well I can start planning for next year! LOL
I have some sewing to play with - they knew not to mess up the sewing room!
Enjoy!

Good afternoon from sunny, but cold, snow covered, Sw. Pa....
Boy, it is hard to believe it's over or almost over.....I'm thinking our's will be over when Terry and the boys leave so we have until Sunday.....
Mary, so happy to hear your sister had a good time... Poor Scottie, maybe you should think about getting him a buddy.....
Jana, your dish sounds good, I think! I like all the ingredients but never had them all together....
In our house, we're going to have some new food plus clean out the frig.....We're going to have burgers, not on the grill, at least I don't think...But since the grill is on the covered patio, you just never know.....We do have left over potatoes and more cookies than I want to think about.........At least no one will go hungry.....
Happy eating.....................

Hello & Hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas with family.Sounds like it was great.
IRISH I know you are enjoying yours.
JANA Your family gathering sounded like fun with the tub.I had never heard of that.
We had a house full at Alexs (DS1) 18 & food enough to feed an Army. Our DGS in Korea facetimed Christmas Eve & Christmas day so that was great.
We have so many sweets & snacks here. And we do not even want to eat.
Will be lite.Did get all the gifts unloaded. Becca

Leftovers for us tonight...with anyone that comes back tonight!
Lots of ham, potato salad (2 kinds), some green bean casserole, box mac and cheese, baked beans, and "Moonshine Tickle's" Pineapple casserole which was the big hit of the holiday! lol!!
We had a wonderful Christmas...I managed to complete 3 quilts this year..working no more than 30 minutes at a time due to the RA. Mostly it was more like 10 minutes..lol!
Merry belated Christmas to all!!!!!!!
