SUPPER CLUB - Wed, Dec 4th
Good chilly morning! They said we might go all the way down into the teens tonite - unusual for the PNW - but it was 30 at 4:30 when BILL's dog had to go out. It will probably hit about 28 by dawn - which is another hour away. Brrrrr . . . .
I'm going to put a stew int the crockpot this morning. I'd love dumplings in it, but will probably forego them. They are just more bread - something I don't need. But I do love them! We might have a salad earlier than supper proper. We need the veggies, (and I need DH's dressing jar for my cappuccino mix!) but it's all just too much to eat at once.
Stay warm and BECCA, I hope you find more energy today.

Good morning!
Mary - stew sounds yummy!
I did my cheating chili - it is called that because it is really fast and easy! There is a little left for DH's lunch today. I have a couple of fresh chicken breasts in the refrig which I will do something with this evening.
Still getting the decorations put up - hope to be done in a day or so.
Off to sew -
Enjoy

Good morning from warm, Sw. Pa...Mary, you're having cold weather and we're just the opposite (for another day or so)....But, a good day to finish the outside decorating, I guess.....
Mary, I also love dumplings but don't need them, as I don't need all these baked things that keep happening in this house....I think if it wasn't for Jim, I probably wouldn't bake at all, except for the sticky rolls......
Becca, take each day as it comes and don't try to do too much, which is hard at this time of year...But, that strength doesn't come back as quickly as we'd like....
As for dinner, we have just enough ham/cabbage/potatoes left for 1 more meal and then on to new stuff....Before I cut the cabbage, I saved the nicer leaves and I'm thinking of "pigs in a blanket" for maybe tomorrow....Wonder why it's called that, I don't use any pork!
Happy eating...............

Good Afternoon Ladies.Part sunny & clouds looming. We re to be in 60's today.Unreal for Dec.
We did get our DGS's families package off.Now all our mailing of packages is finished.
Yes ladies it does take awhile to come back.I do something & take a break.Taking longer this time for some reason.Guess I forgot how long it takes.Does not help that it is Dec. & there is so much to do.
After Mailing we got Subway so no cooking. That helps.
Stay warm all while we are too warm here.....Becca
