Good morning from sunny, warming up, SW. Pa....
BUT, where is Mary?????It's almost lunch time and the table hasn't been set or the coffee/tea ready.....
Not much happening in our neck of the woods....Jim is out with the rake, but I think he's going to be getting the mower out of the shed....He like to mulch some of the leaves...I figure, as long as I don't have to do it, whatever floats your boat.....I am feeling lazy today and grouchy!
You know what they say, when you go to a meeting, either sit on your hands or keep you mouth shut.....Well, I didn't heed to the advice....Someone suggested having scalloped potatoes with our BBQs at our card party...Well, before I knew it, mouth came open, said how everyone really liked the macaroni salad we had served the last time and guess who's making 3 pounds of macaroni????So far we have about 130 people coming and there will be 4 of us making the salad plus baking cakes....Then I told them about the cooler of orange drink you can get from McDonald's for small deposit on the cooler...Yep, you guessed it, add McDonald's to my list.....Next meeting, I'm tying my hands down and wearing tape on my mouth.....
As far as dinner, I'm thinking a chicken patty sandwich and fried potatoes...We still have a little piece of the bundt cake so Jim can have his afters................
So what is happening in your kitchen today?????
Happy eating.................

Good morning!
O'Dorothy - I learned that long ago to sit on my hands - the first Little League Baseball meeting I went too - my older brother warned me to sit on my hands - I heeded his counsel - still ended up doing the statistics for the team - easy - I did that all through high school and college for the teams and was even offered a job by the Oakland Raiders - I turned down the Raider job.
Dinner - I am thinking soup - Broccoli Cheese in homemade bread bowls - there will be leftovers - so that will take care of lunches too.
So glad that we got all the outside chores done - we were at 22 last night - time to add a blanket to the bed!
Enjoy

Last night was dinner with the PRingles...Hibachi Buffet...and I stuffed myself!
Today we voted and ran errands...and had breakfast at Mama's...then tonight we went to the Legion for their voting day bean soup (or oyster stew..ugh)and BBQ sandwich with cole slaw..and homemade pies and cakes..full again! lol!
I might have to cook tomorrow!
