SUPPER CLUB - Fri, Nov 1st

Post by purrfect-lady » Fri Nov 01, 2013 4:20 am

Happy All Saints Day!

Hope you all eat well today! My appt was worth the drive to Seattle, I think. We were gone from home for 4-1/2 hrs for a 10-min appt. But he said that I do NOT have hand eczema but fungus. Since it's in my toes and one hand, (he said that's classic presenttion) and started right after I got a mani-pedi 3 yrs ago, I suspect I won't be indulging in that luxury ever again! So now I'm on a med that should have me fixed up soon. But I'm ticked off at the doc who dx'd me 3 yrs ago!

To celebrate, I think I might make a meatloaf for tonite. and mashed potatoes or hot buttered noodles - DH's choice - and a salad.

What are YOU having tonite to celebrate?

Good morning from sunny, semi warm (60) SW. Pa....Purrrfect day to do something, not sure what but something....

Mary, that does sound like it was worth the trip...If the meds clear up the fungus, that's great....I had always had problems with my feet and finally the foot doc gave me a RX that not only cleared up the rash but took care of the nails, and it only took a month....After years of covering up the toes, I was happy to dig out the flip flops....And your dinner is one of my favorites......Good way to celebrate!

And in this household, I'm thinking maybe stuffed pepper soup...Jim isn't too keen on soup but I have a hankering and have all the fixings......Not sure if I'll be baking or not.....

Happy eating.................

Good morning!

Mary - so glad that they finally got the diagnosis right! Dinner sounds delish - I may just copy it for here - DH loves meatloaf and it gives me his lunch for the next few days as well.

The weather here is cold and cloudy - the clouds are sitting on top of the mountains across the valley - just low enough to cover the snow. We will be getting a storm on the week-end - some say snow in the benches -that is us - and others say just rain - what ever it is cold outside!

Well I need to get cracking on this binding - I keep waiting for the binding fairy to show up and finish it for me - no such luck yet!

Enjoy
Jana
