SUPPER CLUB - Friday Eve, Sept 12th

92* here yesterday! Hottest day of the year so far. Halfway through Sept. What an odd summer we're having!

JANA - I was thinking of you with every "carni-" idea I printed! lol!

IRISH - and everyone else. Yeah, this leg thing is a killer. I've had it before. Actually, crawling on the floor was good because it stretched it out. I also am doing special excercises every day designed to 'release' the psoas muscle. They do help. Pain was a 9 last week,and I think it's more like a 2 or 3 today. And I AM going to look into something for my machine so I can operate it by hand. I suppose then I'll get carpal tunnel! lol! My sister says I'm obsessive about quilting and that I need psychological counseling for it. I don't dare tell her about this or she'll crow at me that it proves her point!

I can't say what's for dinner tonite. I'm going to try walking around Costco today and also the regular grocery store. We want to get our errands done before puppy comes tomorrow morning. So dinner will be a surprise - probably a spur of the moment decision while hanging over a display case at the store.

Good morning!

Mary - hope that you make it on your walk through the stores - my knees give out long before I make the rounds at our Costco - so I just the little riding cart - makes it so I don't buy so much! LOL I just make Michael take a regular cart as well!

Dinner is chicken - we ate out last night and bought extra for some meals here in the next few days. I will add a salad and some zucchini to the plate as well.

Hello MARYz Glad the pain is coming down.Know what you mean about doing what you love.People who do not quilt or knit or whatever do not understand.

We are having some of our hottest temps of Summwer now also but it is aupposed to cool down tomorrow,Sure hope so.We are getting a shower now.

We had to go for DH,s blood work so it was Subway.I told him this morn one day I am going and have me a me day.LOL Maybe after the Summer slows down........Becca

Isn't it so weird that yesterday was the hottest day for Mary..and us! Today it rained...and more to come. A cold front from Canada...I can't wait! Bring on the sweatshirts!!!! lol!!!

Not sure about dinner...we will have little Ryan overnight, but I don't know what time he will be here. I haven't planned anything to eat..what's new, huh?

I do need to make a trip to Medary's Market...for milk and cereal..and some lunchmeat.

I'm itching to get back to sewing on the binding on DGD Caley's quilt..my RA is in my right shoulder, so I'll just have to be patient. Grrr. I also need to make a Christmas tablerunner for the quarter action to raise money for the Christmas Walk banners.

Good afternoon from dreary, warm, rainy, SW. Pa....At the moment it's not raining but.....

Oh Mary, it's "Puppy Eve" and I'm so excited and I'm not even the mom.....And you know, furbaby's furmom is giving him all kinds of good advice on how to behave, right? I always feel bad for the mom when one of the litter is adopted but hopefully they know it's a good thing.....

Joanne, you had asked about my banana bars so I'll make sure I post it on the recipe section....They really did turn out good, just ask Jim, lol.....

Jana, I thought of you when I turned on my puter...I have it set to show Bing and the picture today is one from Utah and it's absolutely gorgeous....We really do have a beautiful country......

Well, I just got back from walking the stores...(That's better than walking the streets, right)....2 grocery stores and Home Depot and I also snuck in a little trot though a "junk" store...But, getting groceries, I kept thinking, dinner, meat loaf, chili, chicken pot pie and I came home and so far haven't started on anything....So one of those will appear on the table, I hope......And there is left over banana bars and orange sherbet for afters............
