I too am way far away from you, Minnesota!!! But I can attest to the fact that the gals here are a totally awesome bunch! OMG, you will never find a greater bunch of "strangers" anywhere. Yes some are a little stranger than others LOL just kidding girls! But boy, if you need help, this is the place to be. Not only for quilting but for life in general. These gals will help you make lemonade out of lemons!
Check out the topic "QIAD cookbook" and if you'd like to add a recipe or two or ten to it, let me know!
There's always something going on here, from block swap to FQ swaps to just plain FUN. So join in the merriment!

Quilt Deb:
If I lived in Denver area, I would love to fly to Henderson. Since I live in Western SD I would have to fly to Salt Lake and then to LV. Or to Denver and then LV. Flights to LV fairly reasonable from Denver.
My 10 year old grandsons last day of school is tomorrow in Denver area. He attend school year around. So he will start 5th grade in July. I can't afford to go until end of July, as I need new tires. But, then no one keeps me apprised of his school schedule. We are close, Sean his younger brother is a hoot. Just turned 2 in Feb. 18# now up from 2#. What a cutie. Told Alec, older one, he couldn't date girls until he grad from college....ha.
