Merry Christmas morning, everyone!

VAL - did you make it to NV? How was the pass? I was trying to get weather reports yesterday but wasn't sure what town to look up near Donner Pass. Have a happy blessed time with all the littles. You are the bestest mom, gramma, great gramma I know!

JANA - great poem! And so true! It reminds me of the fun poem in the front of Eleanor's Christmas at Bears Paw Ranch. And looks like you're getting your new front teeth for Christmas!! Hooray!!

TINA B - merry Christmas to you and yours! So glad you're a part of our little group! You bring me stability sometimes when I feel my world is spinning a little too fast.

LORI - I'm sorry you can't have your son with you. We miss them! And you say you've only had rain on Christmas twice in your life??? haha! I think only about twice in my life I HAVEN'T had rain!

JUDI - so glad you had such a wonderful party!! You made a lot of memories for everyone. And I'm glad you got those tickets to Phantom. You will LOVE it!

CHRISS - I wouldn't say I'm exactly "be-bopping" but I'm managing to get most places in the house that I need to go. This morning, I climbed the stairs, with cane, and without Bill as back-up! No stopping me now. Give your dad and Judi a hug for me when you see them this afternoon. They are special. And sorry, I have no input on blinds, curtains, or any other window covering. We don't have much in our our house - one solid, fan-folding blind in my sewing room that I can lower, and leave open at the top. It's kind of neat. And we have horizontal slat blinds in our family room downstairs but rarely use them.

MARY Q - I'm sorry you got left out of the loop(s) this year. Kinda hurts. Maybe next year you can start your own loop. And yes, I have to say, by the time Christmas is over I'm ready for it to all go back in the box! Our tree, borrowed from Drew, has been up since Oct 10Th!

CAROL - always a pleasure to see you post. So nice of you to cheer your neighbor up! I'm sure he needed that. And I bet your house smelled heavenly with those cookies baking. And I'm sure your quilts were greatly appreciated!

LYN - sending you hugs! A poignant Christmas for you. I think of you and Garry daily.

FLO, DIANE, LOIS - Merry Christmas to you all, too!

We had a nice Christmas Eve, even though we were only 6 peoples. We had a table full of snacks and Alec baked a beautiful yule log. And it was DELICIOUS! I fell asleep in my chair as soon as everyone left. lol!

This morning, Santa brought me a few sewing must-haves, slippers, robe, and my family ring - which I received last week. Now it's time to do my hip exercises, get our dinner organized (turkey breast into crockpot), showered, and off to friends, Doyle & Susie, for brunch. Oh! And I almost forgot - I also got Eliz Hartman's Show and Tell Quilt pattern! So, after dinosaurs, that's up next. And it will be all MINE! :D So my 2026 list is growing!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
hugs from Mary z and Foxy

Merry Christmas to you all!!

Here's a picture of Ava. She is about 8 weeks old and I've really been enjoying her. She's very tiny, she just now fits in newborn clothes, she was in preemie clothes all this time and she wasn't preemie, she was a full term baby.

πŸŒ²β„οΈπŸŽ„πŸŽπŸŒ²β„οΈπŸŽ„πŸŽGood Morning And Merry Christmas to All of YouπŸŽ„β„οΈπŸŒ²πŸŽπŸŽπŸŽ„β„οΈπŸŒ²

Tis a bit cloudy here today, but that's ok --- temp may reach 36* or so and no snow in the forecast so it will be a good day for travelers! Kevin & Family will be out later this afternoon for a light dinner and gift exchange. In the meantime I'll be shining up the place --- and me too.

Valerie.... You made it safely to your destination? Were you able to get the shopping done you were asked to do at the last minute? Gramma to the rescue!

Diane...After Christmas I may ask you for the directions on how you did the background on your Nativity scene as I'm thinking I might do a "do over" on the one I started!

Lois.... Wishing you and your family a wonderful day as well. Will you have both your kids at your house today?

Judi..... A Big mess after a family Christmas party is a good sign that everybody had a good time! Your party brings back a lot of memories of the Christmas Eves at my folks when my kids were little! Lots of laughter, lots of good food, lots of wrapping paper thrown everywhere, lots of hugs. Oh what wonderful memories you've made for your family!

Tinab.... May God Bless you and your family today! Happy Christmas Day

Maryz... There will most definitely be a whole different "Loop" next year!!!! Jen, David and Eli will be here--and tho it may complicate things-( they will live closer to her Dad about 2 hours away) -we will work out something different. I'll have to google your new EH pattern! I know how you love those!

TinaR.... OH my gosh that baby is darling!!! Don't you just want to kiss those little cheeks!!

Chriss... I think you are right... there's probably a battery in that smoke alarm! I know that's a battery back up in my carbon monoxide thingee. After seeing the beautiful drapes DDIL Kris made/and purchased for my house I'm thinking about doing something similar.... but their windows are much bigger. Hope you have a wonderful day!

Lori... someday we should compare cranberry bread recipes!!! Mine calls for1 cup orange juice--but the other day I did a little apple cider--made 4 "batches" so used 1 cup apple and 3 cups orange. I think it made it a little moister

Jana... Merry Christmas to all of your family! May God keep little Enoch safe until the perfect moment for him to arrive!

Lyn... Merry Christmas Dear Friend. I'm sure you will be spending the day with Garry. Sing him some Christmas Carols and tell him stories of Christmases past.... that's what memories are for---to be shared for years and to bring us peace in our days!

For now I need to crank up some Christmas Carols I can sing along with, unload the dishwasher, tidy up kitchen as I left a bit of mess last night.

May you all have a most wonderful day.
Lots of Love
Mary

Merry Christmas!

It's a quiet morning here. We all had such fun last night with all the family. My nephew who lives in St George was coming by this morning, but there had to be a change of plans and I won't get a visit with him. Sarah let me know and that even at 9:30, her boys weren't up yet. She figured that the smell of bacon cooking would help. LOL!

Our little Daytona kitty got out a couple of days ago and was missing. Neighbors saw her on doorbell cams and Daniel put out a kitty trap and Daytona came home and Daniel caught her. Karlie was wanting a Christmas miracle, just like the movies and got it! Daytona was happy tobe home too!

We have a definite date for little Enoch"s arrival. If he waits that long. February 24th. Sarah and I are still betting on the 13th, our birthdays. So I need to get a quilt made and am leaning towards dinosaurs. I'll start looking for fabrics online and tomorrow Sarah and I will go the the LQS"s.

Well, I'm off to feed the zoo,

We noticed that Donner Pass was in store for more than 200 inches of snow! The Feather River route will get some snow, but not that much. Val will have a adventure on her way home! I think Val is just east of Reno, Fernley or Wadsworth.

Tina - what a little doll! I have been wondering about her. She's adorable!

Off I go,
Hugs,
Jana.

Oh, any of you east of me, I may be at your house soon, it's so windy that I'll be blown away!
