Good morning,
Well it's suppose to get up in the 80's today just what I want

we won't be back in the 60's until around Thursday.
Yesterday I cut the background out for oh little town (small version of starry nights) and just started cutting Mary out I love that they give great directions with the ruler so I will take my time this is not time sensitive project .
So today some wash needs my attention and this house needs to be cleaned so after breakfast I will get to it.
Mary z your right flue season is upon us.
Well that's all she wrote.
Have a great day.
Prayers go out to all.
Lois

Good morning It is sunny and another hot one 83 today. I am ready for cooler weather but will complain when it is freezing out.
Yesterday was a good sports day, the Tigers won ( sorry Maryz) and the Red Wings won, and today the Lions play, I pnly watch hockey but my family group chat keeps everyone in the loop.
Today I will take motrin and walk the Applefest, at least I will try, My hips dont like walking on concrete but you must keep moving, Maybe I will find something I cannot live without, who knows....
I did start the assembly process of the Vintage Christmas,, Hoping this week to get it on the LA for the finishing stretch, I have several projects in the que, so no shortage of quilting things, I havent made the label or binding, I also havent heard from the lady who will drop off the backing for the veterans quilt yet, So that isnt pressing,
I hope you all have a great day Flo I will pray for your friend

Good Sunday morning,
I slept!!! I slept well!!! I woke up just one time, rolled over and went back to sleep. I got 7 hours of good sleep and so far this morning feel so much better than the past two days. Such a blessing. Sometimes a good life is just a bit better!
LOIS - My laundry basket is overflowing, too. I suppose I could just get a second basket . . . The house isn't too bad, Bill does a little and I do a bit here and there. And our new little housekeeper is coming back on Wednesday. She is so good! I hope you finish your house uglies quickly so you can go make a mess in your sewing room.
LORI - why can't Jonathon fly? I wish he could come home for a visit. It's been a long time since you've seen him. You will eventually conquer water color painting. My faith in you will not be shaken. But the videos sure make it look easy, don't they. Do you sketch the picture first? And yep! I'm gimpy. But so far today - not as gimpy as the last two days, so maybe call me Half-Gimpy.
CHRISS, Grandmother of The Walking One - This is going to be an exciting year with Elliott. They learn and change so much in this year. I hope you get to visit often. Very sweet of you to acknowledge the hospital staff. Unfortunately that gratitude doesn't usually trickle down to the staff that actually cared for you. So a note to the CCU staff themselves is always appreciated. Or 3 (for 3 shifts) containers of cookies, doughnuts, candy, muffins, etc. If you do an edible thank you, make sure to label the shifts and tape them closed because those greedy gusses on days and evenings will gobble it all up! Signed, Mary, R.N., Hungry Night Shifter
LYN - Are you excited to hit the road to Texas? Is it possible, if you can't leave your MH plugged in, to leave it at one of your brothers homes? I suppose you could leave it at the Fairgrounds campground in Longmont though you'd have to pay (I think about $25/nite) for the site you leave it in (A Row is for the big rigs). But it might not be very secure. Sketchy folks do haunt that cg sometimes.
JANA - 4# 4oz is pretty hefty for a 28 weeker. Are they certain of dates? Little Zion is acting more like a 32 weeker! His family must be very grateful for all the blessings that have come with him. BTW, what is his middle name? I'm trying to think what might go with Zion. Have to say, I really like the name Zion. It's kinda cool!
FLO - I'm sorry for your friends' friends. Some families are like that, sadly.
JUDI - I'd like to be walking your Applefest with you. But that ain't happening any time soon. Maybe next year?? What kind of shoes do you wear to walk? A good walking shoe makes all the difference. Did you make any more progress on The Quilt yesterday? A bummer about the Mariners game. Kind of rude of the Tigers to beat us in our own house!! The big news here is more about the traffic in Seattle because of 3 big games (football, baseball, soccer) and the cruise ships that are docked in town. They figure an extra 210,000 people will be swarming downtown Seattle today. Glad I'm across the Sound in little Gig Harbor.
MARY Q - just in case you poke your head in tonite when you get home - HOWDY! Hope your weekend was nice and relaxing. Was it a big family 'do' or just you visiting your DB and SIL?
I bailed on Bill yesterday. I just couldn't walk without a cane and since it was a trip to help our friends and not a visiting trip, I decided I'd be more of a hindrance. So I let Bill go by himself. But I did send a big jar of soup. I stayed home and 'gimped' around the house: straightened up the pantry, restocked it from our back pantry, and then straightened up that pantry. Then I washed a big basket of blocks to start stocking a toy box for Amara's visit. Then I wrapped gifts for our upcoming Hallowthanksmas gathering. It took me all day to do all this because about every half hour I sat down for 15 minutes. We'll get the fake tree up later this week, I think. Lee & Lara fetched it from Drew yesterday.
Bill is going to an RV show with L&L today so I will have a second day all to myself. I think Lois has talked me into doing laundry. I might turn on some football since the TV is close to the laundry cubby. Though I think I'll save the taped Seahawk game for when Bill gets home. And maybe I'll work on my flying geese for KTVC.
https://www.shabbyfabrics.com/p206103/a ... gLd1fD_BwE Several of us are working on this pattern, or have it in our future plans. Just in case those who aren't are wondering what KTVC is, I hopefully have provided a quick pic of it. (I'm pretty computer-downright-stupid so I might not have.) So those rows of flying geese are my current project.
have a great Sunday! Enjoy whatever you choose to do!

Good morning!
We never made it above 50 yesterday and I can see the new lower snow line across the valley. That snow probably won't stay. But like they say, it always snows at General Conference!
Haven't heard on little Zion today. As to a middle name, Kate didn't know if he has one yet. And the Dr did do a new calculation on how early he was, they say now, he was about 32 weeks, so that's better. He will probably be home by Christmas.
Conference was wonderful yesterday. Kate sang in the choir for the Saturday night session and the TV camera found her, three different times, as the 375 voice choir performed. Today will be the last two sessions of Conference.
The house got cold, so we needed to turn on the whole house furnace. A bit early, we were trying to hold out a bit longer.
Did some sewing during Conference and more today. Sarah is doing up a big conference breakfast at her house, Stu and Michael, his friend, Ethan have all put in requests for what they want. Waffles, bacon, oj, etc. Here I'm doing chocolate waffles. Cheating by using a chocolate cake mix and only making me a waffle and baking the rest of the batter into cupcakes. Daniel will be over, puttering in my garage, cleaning up the mess. He has a large organizational streak, like me, and wants things away, so he can work in there in the wintertime. He's fabricating a snow plow blade for the front of our lawn tractor, to make things easier and quick to shovel snow. Daniel found a blade already and just needs to build the parts to attach it. Our tractor didn't come with such, but will have one now! The tractor currently lives out in the barn, but will stay in the garage when it snows. Open garage door, drive out and plow.
Time to get moving,
Hugs and prayers,
Jana

Judi, hope you enjoy the festival.
Jana, nice of Sarah to do the breakfast. How come you're not going with the others? Enjoy your conference and sewing.
Maryz, Jonathan has a big dog and he won't put her in cargo to fly. She's older. A German Sheppard/Blue Healer mix. Super smart and active. Is it safe for Bill to go to the RV show without you? He won't come home with a new one will he?
Flo, I'm so sorry about your friend. Very unexpected I'm sure.
It's a beautiful morning. Our Autumn weather has finally arrived. Cool mornings and warm afternoons, but not too hot. I need to clean a bit today. The boys are going in for a bath, so while they are gone, I can vacuum and mop without having to move big dogs.
Have a lovely day.

Only 50° out. I will probably regret saying this, but for now, I'm looking forward to warm temps of Texas.
Flo, Prayers for Debbie, family and friends.
Valerie, Glad you made it back to Indian Springs. I looked on the map, it's out in no where!
MaryZ, I hope I can get MH loaded where it sits at Transwest. It could be moved to their campground area if there's a space. Only about 8 spots and last time I was down there were only a couple open spots. Worst case, I can ask Larry and take it to his farm. There's no way that I would leave it anywhere else unoccupied.
Garry helped me test the detectors yesterday, by holding the test button on one as I ran through the house checking to see if it signaled the others to go off. All works. I went to put up the base plates they mount to and found the drill bits missing. So, I will head to Ace this morning and get what I need and then get them up. I'm hoping to gather a few things that I could use in Texas and find room in the Jeep.
Hope y'all have a blest day.
Lyn

Good morning and happy Sunday.
Last night I had some frozen think for dinner. It was Bertoli chicken fettuccini alfredo. There were three, yes three, sprigs of broccoli in the entire package. It was awful. I had a few tv dinners in the freezer for quick meals, and I have one left. I'm thinking tv dinners aren't my thing.
I have a few things that need doing around here. but nothing that will take all day. I am coming up on 6 weeks after my surgery and need to add a little more activity to my day.
Lyn, I also watch flea market flip. They turn stuff into amazing things. Not sure I would want to go through the work unless I really needed something but I would love to go to the flea markets they go to. Oh gosh, drill bits. I have zillions of them, wish you could just pop over and take them home. I have all the sizes.
Lori, Oooohhhh, nacho's. that might be a good dinner for me. I will put it on the list. funny. After my son sent the video of Elliott walking he sent me a video of the song by Queen, Don't stop me now.
Valerie, glad you made it there safely. Hoping you get a little extra sleep this morning.
Lois, We are supposed to see the 80's this week too. Glad I didn't put the flannel sheets on the bed yet. I will join you in the laundry room soon.
Flo, sorry about your friend. prayers said for her and her family.
Judi, Wish I could walk the applefest with you. Will you bring a wagon incase you need to tote a bunch of treasures home? Glad your teams are doing well.
Maryz, Looks like I will be joining you and Lois in the laundry room. Glad the cane is helping. Kind of nice to stay home and not have to go isn't it? I had planned to send the letter I've written to the CVICU, I just feel bad that I couldn't remember everyone's name. I'm also sending the letter to HR and the board of directors. I want them all to know my thoughts. I will wait a bit before going to see my grandson. It's a long drive and I want to be sure I am up for it.
Jana, I could use a big conference breakfast, have Sarah set an extra plate at the table. I think attending church in your living room while wearing slippers is a good thing.
Dinner tonight will probably be the nacho's Lori had yesterday, but that will require a trip to the grocery store. Maybe tomorrow when I am in town. Guess I need to get dressed and start my day, hope your's is relaxing.
Chriss

I'm back. It's time for a little rest, I'm in the middle of cleaning the fridge, went out to trailer to get a clear plastic organizing thing that Lara gave me, swapped laundry loads, and suddenly it's time to take a short break.
JANA - ha! I thought Zion was doing well for 10 weeks early. If he stays the course and behaves his little self I predict he goes home before Thanksgiving. They better get that nursery ready!! I'm still thinking of middle names for him. Maybe Bob? Bob goes with everything. Zion Bob!
LORI - I forgot about Jonathon's furry partner. I wouldn't do that to my dog either! I'm glad he's such a good doggy daddy.
VAL - I'm glad you made it safely. Plus you grocery shopped after you arrived?? You are a woman of steel!
CHRISS - maybe you should invite Elliott and his crew to come visit you. Maybe Dad and Judy would like to visit, too, and you could offer a simple lunch - sandwiches and soup. To celebrate Elliott's newest achievement! Pro Tip: Take Cam[bell's tomato soup, add in a can of Italian diced tomatoes, and some basil crushed between the palms of your hands. It tastes almost like homemade tomato basil soup. Ice cream bars make a great dessert if they are dessert minded. And you can play with Elliott while they eat your wonderful lunch!
Well, my break time is over. Back to the fridge. When I'm done, I'll sweep the kitchen floor. If I can spell able, I might even swiffer it. No mop buckets to lift here. I'm far too lazy for that!
