Hi Girls
I'm going to type fast, post this and hopefully the site will stay up for at least a few minutes!!!

It's a gorgeous day here in Minnesota, and even tho I slept a little late, I have the sheets in the wash and am just trying to decide where to go next! I have the baby quilt pinned and as soon as I decide HOW I'm going to quilt it I'm headed to the sewing room!!

I heard from Valerie this morning, they made it to Las Vegas and have been working with Doctors etc to figure out the best course of action for Tony. She may try to get online sometime during the day!

Ok... that's about all the news from here... so I'm going to Submit this and cross my fingers that it works.

Good morning. It's going to be another beautiful day today.

Yesterday I walked down to the mail box. I should use a walking app to see how far it is. Probably 2 tenths of a mile. But for me it's progress. If it were warmer outside I wouldn't have walked.

Today the parents will be here. Dad says he wants to paint a door. I think it's a ruse. But I do have a couple of very small projects I want him to do. And this afternoon the pest control person will be here to control the pests.

Other than that it will be another lazy day. I look outside and see all the leaves on the ground, I would love to go rake them, but not for a while.

Next week is my followup with the surgeon then Lowes will come measure my counter tops for replacement. And I have cardio rehab starting on the 25th.

Dinner tonight will be something rotisserie chicken. I'd really love to go to a grocery store and shop, but not yet.

I saw our site was down again this morning. But thankfully, not for long! But I used my time wisely - Got my hair "special shampoo'd", and a big pot of chili bubbling in the crockpot. And I walked to the end of the driveway. And back! Now it's time for a rest. Today is grocery shopping, but I think I'll let Bill do that. I'll just re-write the list, more organized like all produce together, baking needs, canned goods, refrig. Etc. It makes it easier for him. I think it's going to be a very laid back, quiet day here.

CHRISS - I am honored to be your 'twin'! I'm sure your dad wants to come check on his little girl. And I'm sure his little girl appreciates that! You can go grocery shopping, I bet, but you just have to have someone drive you.

LORI - hug your sweet puppies for me!

VAL - you are probably in Vegas by now. Will you get a motel or stay with your DBIL? I'm sure he is very grateful to have you there for support. I pray next year your reward for your sacrifice will be a wonderful trouble-free trip. But for now, I think you are where you need to be. God bless.

MQ - hope you got those groceries yesterday. We want you to have time to play today! Thanks for the Valerie update. It came in just after I typed my note to her.

LYN - I hope Minnie is back to her normal self today!

JUDI - what's the plan of the day for you?

I am going from bad to worse quickly here. The hip doctor to whom my PCP referred me says they will call me next week. I hope so. I hate to admit it, but I'm finding using a cane has become helpful. Bill had to put my left sock on for me this morning. I hate being such a bother to him, but he does it all cheerfully. I was able to get a big pot of chili on this morning. And I plan to make sweet cornbread to go with it this evening. I'm already getting hungry! Maybe I'll sew for a few minutes. My CW's are coming along slowly, but steadily. I think my planned quilt is about 1/3 finished now. But the thing with CW's, you can always call a halt and make it smaller if you poop out on them.

It's a beautiful day here the house got cleaned and the laundry is finished
I'm redoing the brilliant snowflake block so will see what happens FedEx is bringing my bobbin spring today but I might wait till tomorrow to do that yesterday I was on my feet to much and I paid for it today my foot was hurting I took a Tylenol and that seemed to help so I will sit and sew for a while.

Minnie is better. She passed another piece of nut yesterday morning, hopefully that's all of them.

Good morning it is another day in paradise. We had sausage gravy and biscuits for breakfast I cooked Ken did the cleanup then we went to the post office with a couple of side roads one was an old abandoned copper mine it was a hike down a cliff so I passed and Ken agreed We are home now and I will get back to stitching and check the news I am
Glad the person has been apprehended so sad it had to be his family that turned him in That bad to be hard for them
Mary my last weeks before my surgery were with a cane and I had a black thorn walking stick that cane from Ireland to walk with …..fun but not fun

Yes, it's a wonderful day here! Weather wise and law enforcement wise!

Mr G is being more grumpy than usual l. I and understand why, he's had enough Dr appointments and has one today, that he swears he knows nothing about. It's a CT scan. He tries to say we sprung this on him, s it's not listed in his my chart schedule. I just smile and will have him ready for Sarah this afternoon. At least the scan is local, not SLC.

After the morning devotional here, I'm heading to the Batt Cave for the day. Not much else here.

Ethanhad braces braces for the last couple of years and we now know when they will come off. October 23rd. He's very happy!

Prayers to all in need. So many need our support and that’s what we do for each other!
On that note I do a card ministry to give positive thoughts and prayers as well as enclose a little pocket quilt inside. You have seen recently Diane,Jim, Chriss and Mary Z have received them, because I had requested their addresses. SO, IF you wish to be included I will gladly send you a card and pocket quilt. I would be glad to send you more than one too. I know I will be able to get working on them in a few weeks. I just need your address and I will get on it.
Most importantly you all are so special and do not want to slight anyone.

Good morning everyone

Well, the laundry is going. Not sure dryer is working correctly. We will see. Pot roast in the crock pot that also seems to be popping for whatever reason. DH went to town (40 miles) so hoping he gets back soon.

Yes, the house is a mess. No way I can do this in a day. Maybe one room a day. He has a lot of people who drop by but nobody really helps. Rectal bleeding started again last night and he is nauseous today. I'm thinking it's the pain pill. So he is napping and I will see if he will eat when he wakes up. One day at a time.

Tina sending you a private message. But for now, I need to get some lunch and check the laundry.
