It's nearly 50* here this morning. But in a few days - brrrr....!!! It's coming. We’re going to grill chicken tonight while the grilling weather is somewhat passable.
LOIS - I Googled Sandi's Tulip Talk quilt. Very pretty! What colors did she use? Did you get it sandwiched?
JUDI - Your quilt may be a bit tedious but it will be so pretty! Do you think you will you get it finished before leaving for FL?
LYN - Thx for sharing your photo. It's been 48 years since I was around sheetrock, tape, mud, etc but I do recall if it dries too quickly it will crack. I think the same premise is true of lemon merengue pies.

LORI - I hope you got your shopping done and today is all about your sewing room. Do you have any big projects in the works right now?
JANA - I saw a van yesterday all painted up for Christmas. They were a light hanging business and I thought of you. Such a smart idea to start a business like this. And what is Stu doing these days? We haven't had an update on him lately. Job? Girlfriend?
MARY Q - Did you ever get your groceries? My DMIL used to shop every day. She never had more than about 3 days worth of food in her cupboards, freezer, fridge. They would have starved in a blizzard! Stock up is my advice. How is your C.N. quilt coming along?
TINA - Will you have your placemats finished in time for Valentine's Day? Did you say your have more snow on the way?
CHRISS - your family really has had a hand in settling your area! Your roots go deep. Just like mine in Gig Harbor. So - did your Gr Gr Uncle ever find any gold? Tomorrow is Thursday!!
Yesterday was sweet. We took Amara for a long - 1-1/4 hour - walk/stroll through their neighborhood. Daddy was going to be on a business call in his home office and wanted a quiet background so our job was to ensure that quiet. Turns out that call lasted 3-1/2 hours! After our walk Ms Boots was jazzed like we've not seen her before. Usually she's very quiet but yesterday she was playing dog I guess and kept running through the house, giggling, and barking ARK! at the top of her lungs. lol! So much for quiet. So we all went out to the backyard where we spent a while giving Scottie a haircut and then eating lunch al fresco. We got home about 4pm and I finished up my Star Silhouettes. Took longer because I sewed the third to the last (of 22) rows upside down! Arghh!! So I spent an hour frogging. Today I'm taking my top to the kids so I can spread it out on their carpet and take a photo. If I don't find any glaring errors in the quilt top, then I'll pack up all my sewing stuff tonite and start cleaning this tin box. It can get away from me quickly.
Bill is dropping me at the kids at 0800 this morning - we usually get there at 0930 - and then he's going to the hitch place to have the new hitch installed. Hoping that all goes well. We expect it to but you never know. Fingers crossed.

If you look hard, you can see her new cowboy boots!
