Good morning Started laundry and that is where ill be...I have a quilt loaded and will work on quilting ut as I wait on the laundry,,,Pizza dough will get made and I will put together a pizza for supper...Im trying to talk Ken into going to the mens store for a new sport coat and dress pants...We have a couple of weddings and events coming up and he is very out dated...As a matter of fact there are 2 sports coats in his closet from the 1980s...He swears they still fit and as he says "They are classics" ( i do clean out his closet but never have touched his dress clothes)...I finally got him to agree he will never wear them again..
So that is the plan...we have cool weather and a forcast of more rain...Im tired of rain but the weeds are not...Hope you have a great day,,,,,XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Good morning everyone ๐ŸŒž
Becca, happy birthday to your oldest son! ๐ŸŽ‰
Very glad the tree didn't hit anyone, it must be quite the mess where those storms went through ๐Ÿ™ for all affected.
Tinab, how are you and your DH doing? Is it time to go home? Or maybe I missed it and you're already back home?
Flo, glad you all are safe.
Judi, since you're tired of the rain can you please send it to me ๐Ÿฅฐ
Lois, closet cleaning is done here thankfully.....well at least my stuff. I need to do our sheets too, might as well be this morning. I may have to have someone come help make the bed back up though....
I'm feeling much better today thankfully. The Drs office ended up calling 3 times yesterday, it's decided to just use the 1st new med and he'll see how I'm doing on my next appointment.
Our winds are finally dying down after 6 straight days, we'll just be "breezy" today which I think is about 16mph. I'll be doing little things around the house today, nothing too strenuous. The boys have a little league game tonight and Jazmyne has her FFA banquet tonight so I'm guessing I won't be cooking. Yay for me.
You all have a great day!
Prayers for those in need ๐Ÿ™
Tina

Good morning!

Well, we have a skunk that has taken up residence under our barn. It didn't like Daniel being near there last night and sprayed. Daniel didn't get sprayed. So I need to have someone come and evict the critter today! I did not grant occupancy!

Daniel is starting the deck this weekend. First in line of work is that he's moving the current stair case down to a temporary position so in case of a emergency we can get out from our bedroom. There's 2 doors that exit on my deck, one will be out of commission, the other, from my bedroom will be the only exit.

Time to feed Mr Grumpy. He has a Dr appointment in a short while.

Hugs and prayers,
Jana

Good morning,

Glad to hear everyone is OK after such a stormy night.

FLO - Really? Is planting trees your idea of relaxing? How many are left to plant?

VAL - how are you feeling these days? Hopefully all your "ills" are behind you.

JUDI - good luck with Ken's closet. I don't touch Bill's clothes except to wash and fold them, and set them on the bed. Where they go after that is on him. He is extremely picky. I mean EXTREMELY. He has clothes in clothing covers that he had when I met him in 1990. Never has had them out of the covers, but he still has them. Maybe I should look and see if there are really clothes in there!

BECCA - I guess I missed that you were in a storm path, too. Happy you and your family are OK. I hope your friend's wife improves. What a loyal spouse he is. Happy birthday to your son! Judi's son just had a birthday a few days ago and my son's is later in May. I guess May is Son Month.

TINA - Wow! That's quite a reaction to that second drug! I assume you didn't take a second dose. But Lori had a good reminder - When you are in such bad shape there is always 911 or ER. It might have been a path to get admitted to hospital and you could get those tests. Glad, though, that Dad is OK. You and he make a pair to draw to!

LORI - you and I know how to treat a cat! Foxy doesn't have a special chair - ALL the chairs are his! I do have to chuckle when I walk by the office and I see Bill perched on the edge of a hard wooden dining chair next to his big soft rolling office chair - with Foxy sleeping away in it! And no, we weren't warmer than you yesterday. 80* is coming tomorrow and Saturday. I can't wait!

CHRISS - I'm glad to hear you have conquered your riding mower! Pro Tip for future use: Little ones love riding with you on the mower. Just don't have the blades going or go fast. When Drew was little he took many naps on the riding mower as Pop slowly drove around the yard with him in his lap. The thrum of the mower lulled him to sleep. I don't get on real ladders much either. But the one I was referring to, each rung is more of a wide platform. They are very sturdy and they have 1, 2, and 3 steppers, which fold quite flat for storage. I have a 2-stepper in my sewing room to reach the high stuff. At 4'-11", I use it a lot. We have one in the trailer, too. Just how many carbs do you allow yourself per day? I know average diet is about 300, 100 is considered low carb diet, and anything below that should be with doctor supervision. We do need some carbs.

SHARONA - OK. We'll wear bras at the protest, but I think we should wear them on the outside to illustrate our point. I didn't know your tee shirt was sent to the corner. What did it do this time? It's so close to being out the door.

JANA - we saw that sea serpent at Costco! We wondered who would buy that guy and now we know! :D The kids will love it! And maybe Smudge, too. I always pictured him to be a little kitty. Guess I was wrong! Foxy was 17.5# at vet last fall. I put him on diet food, but I think he just eats more of it! We think he is a maine coon, which are large cats. He also has the maine coon trademark wide eyes and tufted ears. Great news that the deck work will get underway soon!

MARY Q - great idea to cut up old tablecloths and make napkins. But I just can't do it. I have several vintage ones that were my mom's and I suspect, some were my dad's mom's. One for sure. I have a few Christmas, and several picnic cloths that I use outside. One tablecloth is huge, crocheted lace. Found it in a thrift store. It has a tiny label. I Googled it and found out it's actually worth about $275. Well, I can't get rid of that one! What's a tablecloth hoarder to do??

LOIS - sorry about the FG. Hope you find a good use for them later. Maybe you could incorporate them into the back?

I made good progress on my planes yesterday. Maybe I'll get the blocks finished today. I decided I don't need airplane fabric for borders - I'm going to use a stripe or plaid or ?? I'll see what I have when I get the blocks together. My eye dr appt was quick. I have an infection in my left eye so now I'm on eye drops four times a day. I go back to dr May 20th. Bill is still on his eye drops 4x/d, too, so now one of us is always sitting at the table instilling drops. Tonite we're going to a police memorial service in Puyallup - about 25 miles away. There will be a reception afterwards though I suspect it will be a cake and coffee kind of "do" , not real food, so we'll probably stop on our way to get something to eat.

Have a great day!

Well poof went my whole long post. No time to retype it all.

Taking the car to the body shop at 1045. I am feeling okay, just my usual aches and pains. Old lady stuff. Some charting to do this AM also and then one patient this afternoon. It is going to get to 83 here today, not looking forward to it.

Hope you all have a wonderful day. Prayers for all in need. God knows who you are.

Good morning Girls

Yikes, it's Thursday already! Looks like a nice day here though, perfect temp and sunny skies!

Just got out of the shower and going to meet Darn Peggy in a little while so won't be able to chat y'all this morning, but I hate to miss a day! Nothing much going on up here to report anyway!  Got my labs back from the Dr and a phone call back from nurse this morning that all is good! Katie next door used to be a lab technician so she knows what all those numbers mean, but according to the charts, I'm spot on! HDL is a little high, Dr doesn't seemed to be worried about it. .No change in meds anyway!

Gotta go put on face and fix what's left of my hair!

Wishing you a most wonderful day1!
