Just got back from seeing Jerry. He slept most of the time while I was there. I asked him what he had for lunch he said chili. 10 minutes later I asked him what he had for lunch and he didn't remember.

The Hospice nurse was also there. She was doing her evaluation. She said she's noticed the decline, his skin is pale and he's not breathing well. She said that we should just be sure he's comfortable and that the nurse will come twice a week instead of once a week. And so it goes.

Sort of makes it all real.

Came home to a little snow on the ground. Not a lot but enough to make me wonder if my tomato plants are ok.

I was going to bbq a steak but guess I'll pull out my grill pan instead
