Good morning,

JUDI - you got some interesting weather! Hope it's all clear by this afternoon. Happy Hockey! We are 37* and rain this morning. Ugh.

CHRISS - you had a long morning yesterday. Sending hugs to you! ((💗)) Do you have an appt yet for the next test?

BECCA - Glad you are done with the house. But I'm sure it was bittersweet for you. I'll be praying for your little Gabriel. Can't believe he's 6 yrs old now. How are the little twins doing? Do you live closer to them now?

LORI - Did I know you're making Ohio blocks? It sounds familiar but I'm having trouble pulling a pattern up out of my little brain. Yes, I think my big 36" mat is probably at least about 20 yrs old. It's big enough that I keep turning it around and cutting from other sides. I have another, smaller mat on another table that I've used some, too. I'm excited to be getting my new mat today!!

MARY Q - how did yesterday go with KC at her meeting? And are you getting any snow from this newest big snowstorm?

Today, we're going back to Tacoma. We need to pick up my new mat :D :D :D and I'll look for patterns and snaps and maybe some more fabric. I already checked Silverdale Joanns and they didn't have the patterns. I'm still puttering away on crazy blocks. I think I have about 115 left to make. I got 25 done yesterday and will do a few more today. I also did a little re-organizing in my room and found a large shoebox-sized tote full of misc HST's of various sizes. A few are singles, but most are sets of 20 to 30 identicals. If anyone would like them, please let me know and I'll mail them off to you! I would love to share!! Full disclosure, they aren't all squared up but many are.

Special prayers for all who need them. 🙏

Good morning 🌄 Prayer for Izzy and Becca's Gabriel and their surgeries and recovery.
Sorry for all the snowy storms. We had rain, wind and flurries, but we are just fine. Temps going up to Spring 🌼🌱 like level today.
Going on fabric trip to the first Saturday of the month fabric sale at our favorite shop in a small rural town about 7miles away. Our church group have funds to use for some colors that a few of our ladies need to finish their quilt tops. We want to take advantage of the sale day! Some ladies are very fussy about matching colors. I don't worry so much, because of where the quilts are going and how I expect they will be used. Some of the quilts actually become a mat to sleep on in little huts. We have already been told that if a quilt looks " too pretty" , they end up on the black market due to gangs in unsettled countries.
I still try to make them pleasing to the eye as best as I can.
Good Saturday to all.
HUGS, 💕 Vel

Good Morning!
Ok, so I slept in a little bit.... yesterday was a lllooooonnnnngggg day... or it sure seemed like it! It's a two-pot Coffee day here and it is most definitely time for some chores!

Judi.... The best part of a snow storm is being able to stay inside and just watch it! Are your roads clear and dry this morning for you trip to the hockey arena? I'm not the hockey fan you are, but once I'm there watching my Nolan play, I'm the biggest fan of all!!!!

Becca.... I checked on your new place online! Looks very nice and comfy! I hope the wait list isn't too long for you. They are building a place about 3 blocks from where I am now and I'm tempted to put my name on their wait list! Will send some prayers as I dust and vac today for your Gabriel. I do my best praying while I'm cleaning!

Maryz... A new mat can make all the difference in the world! How did you survive with one mat for 20 years! The meeting went ok.. .I didn't realize that some of KC's issues were really quite small and were solved just by everybody being on the same page. It's a long story. I think she was glad I was there. Still quite a lot to do, but one bite of the elephant at a time!

Velda... Oh boy a F A R T Fabric Acquisition Road Trip! Will you can to stop for lunch along the way... Nice to have a place so close. Hope you find some fun stuff at a good prices. I've heard there are folks that drive up to Minneapolis to go the fabric warehouse that I go to.

Well, it's that time....... more coffee ..... rocking music and dance through the chores!

Wishing you all a Super Saturday

Good afternoon!

Everything is done and party over and all fed. Naptime! All tasted very yummy and only a couple of leftovers. Called the amounts of food just right. Cinnamon rolls were yummy especially with a copycat Cinnabon icing. So easy to make, butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar. It's so good, you just could eat it by the spoonfuls! No roll needed!

House is cleaned up too! So I can play! After while, I'll set up my extra sewing again and sew my stars.

It's snowing up in the mountains at the moment, but not a my house. In places in the mountains there's 200 - 300 inches of snow! That's the measurements mostly at the ski resorts. Most of the snow is gone at my yard.

Lots of hugs and prayers,
Jana

Hey all late as usual
We lost power yesterday during 70 mph winds and storms lost couple trees but are ok otherwise.
Laying in bed hand stitching and watching edyta on YouTube dh hooked up generator so dd and I can watch tv lol
Stood outside for a bit in sun that was nice.
Yes more polyps to be removed snd then I get to heal then have colonoscopy to make sure all is good. Ugh 😩

No real sewing here can’t sit that long I did stand for while to cut my sew along blocks
I still got edyta to cut out with my accuquilt. We are making shooting stars this month in her quilt along. I’ve been wanting to make that quilt so will get a taste of how hard they are to make.

Becca will keep twins in prayer 🙏
Hugs 🤗 prayers 🙏 happy stitches 🧵

Maryz, Ohio Star blocks.

I've been working on the On Wander Land Shamrock block again. I did it with a different background.
I like it better. The new one has the blues in the background. What a difference the background makes.
