Just to clarify, the contractor is not coming due to DGS having possible Covid, he will come back when test results are in if negative. They do not have sufficient PPE for + Covid.
I posted a possible UFO contest for next year in Swap area.

Our power was off all day yesterday. From 0930-1830. So I didn't get much done. Today I will do some laundry, clean a bit and even sew for sure.
Have a lovely day.

Re: Thursday Sept 24
I am back briefly - in the middle of a huge wind/rain/possible T&L storm here. It's great!
I talked to Cindy yesterday. She has been sick for about a week and in the hospital for approx 5 days. She has at least 2 large kidney stones(~9mm each) and one is blocking the ureter. She's been in a lot of pain and developed an e-coli infection in her urine and in her blood so is on mega-antibx. She is home now but feels pretty cruddy. She has a procedure scheduled for next week to blast the stones. She's been off work during all this and she says it's her busy time at work so she's also worried about that. So any spare prayers you may have, perhaps you could tack her name onto them . . .

MaryZ - that is terrible about Cindy. Prayers that she gets better soon. The Irish Chain quilt is cream and a print with kinda dull colors of pink, turquoise, greens. It is a really pretty print. Once I have a block done I will try to post a picture.
