Good morning Lois and those that follow.
I am sorry you will miss the Lancaster show Lois. So far no one here where we live has the Corona Virus. At least it hasn’t been reported. Schools are closed for a couple of weeks. The there is spring break. Hubby and I have been pretty much staying in. Yesterday I pieced my backing for the Halloween quilt. I know this one is right. So, today I am going to layer it and get started quilting it. I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning to all.
Lois- sorry about the cancellation of quilt show. I think we better get ready for the other things not happening, too.
QOV at local museum today for 35 vets (I'm not going)
Tomorrow at church in North Myrtle beach for 32 vets. I'll help there. The other Diane is doing it and it should be a lot of fun.
With the virus coming, these 2 will probably be the end for a while. Not sure about the vets cafe either.

To all: Please be cautious, don't want to catch virus via internet LOL

Yesterday was our last fish fry. Usually we have them every Friday during Lent, but with Corona we were informed that they were stopping for the year. Also our Priest is sick, so no mass this weekend..
Shelves are bare in the stores here too. So far other than class trips & sports events cancelled school is open.
May get sew time today.

Ken is feeling better and will wash his robe and sheets today. since he lived in them for the last 4 days...this is about 5 days according to the dr. doesnt matter that we are home bound nothing is going on here anyway. I have enough food but am out of lunch meat for sandwiches...so my son will run up to the store later for some...we have enough toilet paper. I did manage to get the quilt binding done and a label made for the quilt but my plans to get it on the LA went to crap yesterday,,,guild is a week from next weds so we shall see...They might cancell it...we are only about 20 members but they are mostly older gals and wont show up anyway. well bck to my chair or bed...hope you all are corona free. churches have all cancelled their services for this weekend...too/ XXXXXXXXOOOOOOOO I miss my grandkids

Good morning all

Lori Our guild show for the March 28 was cancelled yesterday. I thought it should have been cancelled before our governor asked all events with 250 people be cancelled.
Yesterday went to chiro and store. Got groceries for 2 weeks. I am hunkering down . I will go vote on Tuesday unless Illinois cancels the primary . I live on a farm so do not need to purchase water. Have plenty of TP. LOl They were checking 4 people in Peoria yesterday. Thats getting close. I guess I do not need anything from quilt stores right now. But if I do I will order on line. My local shops have on line shops.
This stuff is scary. My x thinks we should not be doing elbow bump either. His theory is people are coughing on elbow area then you pick up stuff off there elbows. He might be correct.
My dorky sister wants to go ahead with her trip to vegas but I heard this morning the casinos might all close.
Well I am off to do some cleaning just weekly stuff. I will wash down my bedroom tomorrow.
Getting stuff ready for quilt show which is not going to happen LOL put me behind.

You all have a great sewing day
Katy

Good morning!

Thought I woke up in Kansas! The wind is blowing hard! No, still can see my mountains.

Got a scare about the virus. My niece, Becky, Sandee's younger sister, is a phlebotimist, vampire, the one that draws your blood, in a doctor's office. A patient came in, without calling first, with all the symptoms of the virus, so the staff has now been sent home and asked to quarrantine. It is just Becky and her DH, no children. So we are watching carefully, at a distance, praying too. We have not heard if that patient has been confirmed yet with the virus. Please, if you get all the symptoms, call first, as all have asked. Sandee is door bell ditching food for her sister today. Not going near Becky.

Sewed my April wall hanging. It is ready to quilt. Pulled a favorite piece of fabric for my May wall hanging. Now to get some coordinating pieces to go along.

Might happen today, or next week, I will be shoveling dirt for Sarah's raised bed garden boxes. She is having a ton, no pun, delivered. I wil just sit in my chair and load our 4 wheel cart. She, Ethan and her DH will haul it back. We wanted to use our tractor, but the way, along the side of her house and fence, the tractor won't fit. So the old fashioned way will fit.

Time to get dressed. Stay safe!
Hugs,
Jana

Good morning,

We are still camping but left our friends and moved 100 miles up the coast to another Campground. And now we have cell service! This will be short on my phone. Weather has been chilly but mostly sunny until yesterday. We hunkered down in trailer and waited out the rain and finally got a long walk in during the afternoon. Today we are driving into the little towns of Grayland and Westport to check them out.

For sewing, I did what I could on my UGRR swap blocks and made three blocks for March lotto. Good thing I found that Ziplock Full of triangles and white strips. I tossed them into the trailer at the last minute and have been working on them for a summer porch.

We have been seeing news along the way. Our state now has over 500 cases of coronavirus, most within 50 miles of our house so when we get home Monday we won’t be going out except for necessary appointments. All schools in the state are closed until April 24. Library‘s are closed until further notice.

So nice to be able to check in with y’all!! I talked to Cindy yesterday she said Don is feeling OK one Day after his first chemo but doctors warned him it may be rougher going a few days from now. 🤞🙏

Will be home sometime Monday. TTYL on Tuesday!

Mary z

PS - jana, That’s too bad that the patient disregarded the instructions of been broadcast over and over and over again. They all say, call first so others aren’t infected. We can’t afford infecting the medical staff!
