PJ day! Catch up cleaning, then sew blocks, twister ruler cut ver wknd. Don't know if it's my favorite maybe I'd prefer smaller version.
Wal-Mart correct me on use of digital camera, fine, for the quilt show, really must share what I see with you..
Found an employer site which has jobs in the financial-banking area as data entry-customer rep. Wouldn't it be nice part-time to start. They must look into background search. Of course my life's trouble might prevent, but I place faith in my angels.. I love being home!
Macaroni/potatoe salad for rest of week.. Lovely to have 3TV channel back.. How I missed it! Lucky they had a convertor box.

Good morning everyone.
Today is my last radiation treatment. Six and half weeks seemed like it took forever. But, it is over now. Yesterday I never made it out to my studio but my hubby's news from his doctor kinda took the wind out of my sails. We go to his doctor tomorrow to see what is going to happen. Hopefully I will get out there today. Have a wonderful day.

I got up and around early today. The coal man was here at 7:15 and I didn't want him to find me in my nightgown. We have been out of coal for two days and I want to be warm.
We had a lovely time shopping yesterday. Shannon bought homespun curtains for her dinning room. I got a little wooden block painted with a saying for my neighbor. Then we went out to eat (pizza) and I showed Shannon how to get to her new house the back way and it will save her a ton of time when she has to go over the hill instead of going around. Fun day.
I hope to sew on Harley for at least a half hour today. My back isn't much better but I can not wait to start swing down the fused pieces. I want this done I have so many projects I want to get started on.
They are calling for a big snow storm here tonight 8-12 inches....I sure hope they are wrong. I've had my fill-plus of winter this year.

Vicky I know how you feel. We are supposed to get between 3 and 5 inches and that is too much. I am with you no more winter.
I am back to cleaning today. Washing the walls and windows in my entrance or mud room. Need to get done before storm.
Then off to sewing room to work on row B of SBS quilt.

Good Morning Everyone.Supposed to be another 70s day here with sun.But then back down to normal temps.
VICKY Hope the snow comes & melts real fast.DGS lives up there & he is sick of it too.And another DGS moved there in Jan.Works at New York times.Other one is a Pastor.
CHICKIE I am like you.I think of reasons to get outside.
IZZY I too hate DSTimes big time.I think it is horrible to have children out in dark waiting on a bus.
SUZETTE Sorry to hear of DHs problem.So glad you are finished.I know how my DB was when he finished his.
Today I will do more hand embroidery on a baby quilt.Should finish it today.Then have another baby quilt to make.All these Spring babies are coming.

Willy is eight years old now as of Jan 2. He has a little gray around the face, too. Just wanted Willy to say hello and welcome Otis to our family fur babies.

Maryz.. how fun to plan a mom/daughter day.. we just had one and Marilyn bought a necklace that has two parts and it says mother daughter.. my half says mot daug... hers says her hter...it's cool

I just happened to look at the extended weather forecast for my area. Today and tomorrow is supposed to be 68. BUT, Thursday is supposed to be 35. I am glad I haven't put my winter jacket away. I am so tired of winter. I hope that we manage to have a Spring tho. We'll have to wait and see.

Scrap - good luck with your job hunt. I'm glad you got your camera figured out so you can take pictures at the quilt show and then show them to us.
Suzette - TODAY'S THE LAST DAY----HIP HIP HOORAY!!!!! I know what you mean about bad news re your DH taking the wind out of your sails. I hope your spring comes soon. We are having ours but one more cold snap will be here on Thursday and that's probably it for winter down here....I hope. This has been a crazy winter so who knows.
Vicky - Spring is just around the corner so hang in there. Sounds like you enjoyed your day out with Shannon. I can't wait to see Harley.
ME - gosh, washing walls and windows would zap my energy for sewing. Guess which gets done at my house!
Becca - wow, you are putting hand embroidery on a baby quilt? This isn't a utilitarian quilt, is it? That's a lot of work.
Velda - your Willie is so cute. He's around the same age as our Scooter.
Chriss - doctor only removed 3 polyps from the DH yesterday and he said they didn't look nasty but is sending them to pathology which is normal. His visit with the surgeon is tomorrow and we will find out if he'll do the surgery without a bone scan - I hope so. If not, maybe the doctor will do battle with the insurance company to allow the charges. Yes, the garage door opener got installed. Man, it is so much quieter than the old one. I was surprised. Have a great day at work today.
Nothing new to report here. Worked on my rooster last night while I sort of watched the finale of The Bachelor - what a disappointment. I don't think Juan Pablo is a very honest man. He tries way too hard to convince everyone that he is and that sends up red flags if you ask me.....which you didn't.....but I said so anyway just like usual. OK so I'd better get busy around here.
I hope we can all fondle fabric today.

Good Morning Girls
Where did the sun go?? It was so beautiful here yesterday.. sun shine and melting snow. Was 45 when I drove home last night.. now it's 38 and forecast for snow showers! Well, It's March in MN and that's to be expected.. it ain't over yet!
Not much to report from up here, just another day in Paradise as they say. Got good news from my CPA yesterday.. I'm getting a TAX REFUND! Enough to buy new carpet for room mates room! YIPEE That will wait tho til after I get back from AK and get the room all painted up. Now the hard part---what color! Something soft and pretty to make it a guest room for when Jen and family come to visit!
Suzette.. .YEAH FOR THE LAST TREATMENT! Lots of prayers for your DH tho... Spring can't come to soon for me! I'm itching to throw open the windows!!!
Chriss.... Tingly arms? Happens to me all the time! How sweet of Marilyn to buy that necklace for you to share! I had satellite for years, canceled it a while back and I sure haven't missed it. Only time I watch TV is at night, when I don't work nights, and plain TV channels are just fine by me... As long as I get to see Castle once in a while I'm good!

Velda... What a cute little puppy! Gosh I miss a dog in the house. That's the first thing on my list when I retire... a big black lab! No fair to have a dog now when I'm gone all day!
Kathy2... Here's a little trick for washing windows.... if you use paper towels... loop a roll of PT through a belt around your waist.. then you'll have them handy! Works great! I do like washing windows,,, walls.. not so much! I'm actually looking forward to the perfect window washing day!!!
Vicky.... sorry your back isn't much better... Have you tried a little Ibuprofen? I never was one for applique but after making all those bird house blocks.. I'm kind of liking it.. Found a darling pattern I'm itching to make for my DGD Corinne. The quilt I made for her when she was born isn't very "girly" so I think she needs a new one... she's a pretty girly girl!
Think I'll take advantage of the morning here at home before I have to go to work... do a little puttsing around the house for a big.. clean something and start my chore list for the weekend. Friday is payday, so I know I'll have to head to the store for groceries--which I hate in case you didn't know that about me. I HATE grocery shopping!
