Izzy - I think your lovely little ones need one of these sweaters. Don't you. Looks mighty cold out there :) :) The Crochet Crowd shared Raynie Pitts's photo.

It's the 1st day of March. Time really does need to slow down or I need to wake up!! First i ask for prayers for my DGD Aria Jane. She had been diagnosed with Pneumonia. She is only 10 weeks old. She picked it up in Day Care after Mom needed to go back to work.

Yesterday started off with a LOVELY, SPLENDID, OUTSTANDING DAY of RAIN, RAIN and more RAIN!!!!!! Over cast, high winds and at times dark devious clouds. PERFECT DAY!!!! and it is supposed to continue today. SWEEEET.
It has been one heck of a week with dentist appt on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and today. Another packing day with another one on Sunday afternoon and then Tuesday when the Doc comes back. His assistant is a quilting Pal of mine and the Doc knows she will do a great job packing :) :) All this because I lost the blood clot. Ugh.

Donna came over and while I worked on Specer's quilt I had one eye on her squaring up her blocks. She is slowly getting her confidence a bit higher. There have been times when she asks me to do it but this time I told her it would cost her big time or she could do it with me and she would be doing 95% of it. I got her started and she did GREAT!
Today is more working on Spencer's Quilt and hopefully enjoying more of the rain.
Hope you all have a great weekend happening. Prayers always for those in any kind of situation that need added Angels and God's help.
HUGE HUGS of Comfort.

P.S. I am also asking for a tiny amount of your time to take a look at the March Lotto Block. We could use an influx of Pals to make 2 of these Merry-Go-Round Blocks in the colors of the Rainbow. Lat year at this time we had lots of Pals. I hope you give it a Go. THANKS

Good morning my quilty friends. I have so missed all of you.

Teresa, that is such a cute picture. I can just see Izzy's little one's sporting such sweaters! LOL Prayers for a speedy recovery for little Aria Jane.

I still haven't been able to catch up with all my reading for the past week. I have been spending my time on the couch and in the bed. I had to go back to the ER on Wednesday night. Thankfully, they did not keep me.

The day before they discharged me from the hospital, I started to have a little vaginal bleeding. I kept telling the nurse and she said she would message the doctor....when they finally came by to examine me and do the discharge process, I asked the doctor about it. He seemed very unconcerned. I told him that I quit having periods in 2001 but that did not seem to concern him. He didn't think it had anything to do with the procedure and the surgery that I just had! Told me to follow-up with GYN.

I am not talking about a huge amount of bleeding, just some clots and "regular" bleeding as if you were tapering off of your period, however, after not having a period for twelve years, it sure does concern me! On Wednesday, it got a little worse, along with the "menstrual cramping", so we called the surgery clinic and they said go to the ER. Went to the ER and they did a pelvic exam, urine test, and gave me a Motrin! Again, said to follow-up with GYN. I guess they know what they are talking about, but I sure do find it strange that after having an endoscopic procedure, having respiratory problems and being re-intubated and put in ICU, and then having surgery, having vaginal bleeding after not having it for 12 years should be a little concerning!

Sorry for the rant......I feel better now! LOL

Anyways, I can't wait to get upstairs and get some sewing done. I just don't feel up to attempting the stairs yet. Maybe tomorrow.

I have to say that my DH has been the absolute best caretaker that I could have asked for. I think this whole thing was very scary for him. Good to know he still cares after all this time! :)

Well, sorry for my big ole pity party. I hope you all have a fantastic day and get to do something fun.

Prayers for all those who are sick and for their loved ones, as well.

Hugs,
Mel

Good morning Teresa and those who follow.
Well, I made the mistake of looking at the news online before checking in here. We are under a winter storm watch starting tomorrow and into Monday sometime. Not good. We have to go to settlement on our re-fi. The notary is coming to our house. Mother Nature has not been treating us very nicely this winter. Anyway, enough of my whining. Today I have some uglies and then back into my studio. Not much else going on here.
Teresa - glad things are coming along with your tooth.

Good Morning Ladies,

It's nice to say it's Saturday and I appreciate it because I had to work all week today I will get a very much needed haircut then I will finish up the uglies then I might just go into my sewing room and putter around in there.
I had a good day at training yesterday I think it just might be starting to click notice I say MIGHT!!!!!!!!.

Suzette we are bracing for that same forecast they have already told us at the training center not to come on Monday .

Mell Im sorry that you are having so much trouble right now I hope everything starts to go well for you so that you can go back to your sewing.

Teresa those sweaters are so cute thanks for sharing them also I hope and pray that your DGD gets better real soon.

Everyone Have A Great Day.
Prayers Go Out To All IN Needs.

Mellomaking, heard this happening from a dear soul, bleeding always, weakening her immune, apparently had something to do with the walls thinning and was operated on out same day. Sometimes these things get corrected, but I know I would worry.. In mother's case she received a hysrectema..

It isn't fair that they dismiss it, continually referring you to ..doesn't ease your worries.

Good Morning!

TERESA - such a cute photo! Almost as cute as kittens! Hope your tooth is better soon! And a special prayer for your little DGD!

MEL - You have had a rough few weeks! But please do make a GYN appt ASAP. While it probably is not connected to your recent problems, it is still concerning and should be checked out.

SUZ - hope your refi business goes on with no problems - not even from Mother Nature. I think she should be renamed. What kind of mom treats her family the way she's treated so many this year!

LOIS - I bet you sure do love the weekends now!! I think I'd go into some kind of shock if I had to go back to work now.

Same ol', same ol' here. Should be a nice day today. Working on Jane. I'm even dreaming about her at night now. Yesterday Scottie went through the dog wash and he wasn't happy about it. We walked into the place, he took one sniff and went and hid behind their draperies! But he's sure looking good now!

Dont' forget to register for the drawing!

MaryZ - our older dog just has to see the towel I use to dry him with after a bath and he takes off running. It is a beach towel. So, when we pack to go to the beach he sees it and runs. Yes, Mother Nature has not been the best mom this year.

I worked out a ballpark price on the quilt for my friend. It comes in around 300-350 dollars. She was agreeable. This is a future project so I don't need to worry about it right now.

I've been sewing, sewing, sewing! I forgot how much fun this is :-)
I have one more block for Sylvia to make for this week and it is all cut out waiting for me.
My plans were to sew all day today but we got invited to friends for a "butchering" day. I feel I should go with Darryl and help out (I will take as many breaks as needed.) We get meat in exchange for help.

Have a great one!
Vicky

P.S. I plan to take pictures of the sewing room soon.

Mel I would call the ob gyn asap you should not be bleeding period.

It is moving day,,,,we are headed to North Jackonville. it is supposed to be 70 today, Sorry about the winter storm...Ken doesn't want to go home i n 2 weeks unless the snow is gone. I will stay for his sake but and getting a little home sick right now. My babies are all sick and I should be there to help and cuddle them.

We are going to the farmers market thid morning since we don't have to be out of here till 1 and the new campground is an hour away. most of the veggies come from Mexico but they have organic so I am happy/ usually find some nice goats milk soap too/ many other things at the market so shopping is the order this morning,,,Last year we were camping and went to amarket and my friend bought a "diggereedo" from Australia and it was hydterical him learning to play it. One interesting note If you play it the action could actually strenghten your throat muscle and help people with sleep anea....who knew/

Well I am getting my coffee and get dressed now...Hope you all are safe from the storms and all of your troubles are small ones/ XXXOOO
