Good Morning Everyone,

Today is Thursday and it is almost 1 week of training so far yesterday was a little bit better we had another person helping to give us some hands on because we were all getting lost.

Well today Im sure will be better it was just a lot to digest with 1 person teaching but now that there is 2 I guess 2 really is better than 1.

Today Shannon is coming down and we are going to organize my sewing room!!! I'm so excited. She told me I can just sit in there and direct if I get too tired. I'm hoping things will be a lot easier for me when we are done. New light now clean space... Got to love it!

We had a very good time with Tia and the little ones yesterday. DH got a half day off so he was here most of the time, although he was in and out of the cold working on my van. Someday we have it fixed so I can drive it again. He and Caleb replaced a wheel bearing and the brake shoes. He put new tires on it. It will be as good as new.

I had a much better day yesterday. I will be adding the probiotics back today and go slowly to see what it is that is causing the cramps. They may have to change things if I can not tolerate them. I personally just think my intestines have to heal.

Sewing room here we come! I know I have ignored you a lot lately. You will not be lonely today! (yes, my strangeness is coming through here)

Where is everyone

I will be going with my husband to the Retna specialist today.

He is already grumbling about it. I can understand it .
I did ask him to check the forms that I filled out to
bring to the doctors and his answer was didn't you
do that. Why do I have to. He is so used to having
me do it all I said this is your visit just check it.

Men can be such babies.

I am working on the center for my quilt and am hoping
to have it done by the weekend so that I can get the side
blocks attached.

This is a go as you see it quilt as I made all of the
side blocks I used all quilt in a day blocks.

I still have laundry to finish today too but I cant leave
the washer going while we are gone.

LOIS - I hope your training clears things up for you soon. I always hated learning new jos. Just whey you thing you've got it, they throw a whole bunch of new stuff at you and it's hard to remember what you first learned!

DELORES - Good luck at the retinologist today. And good luck with your hubby! lol!

VICKY - I'm already looking forward to your day and I'm not even there! have fun in your sewing room with Shannon, and let's hope your tummy learns to be more tolerable!

Scottie had a little tummy incident himself and DH had to take him out at 3am. And it's so cold in our trailer that the rug cleaner solidified! Found out that Bill forgot to open our second propane tank and we weren't getting any heat from our furnace.

Yesterday I made 5 DJ blocks, but 2 of those were re-makes. Two steps forward and one step back. But I hit 100 finished yesterday. We had a nice "linner" with the kids (We ate at 3pm - hence the term 'linner' - 'lupper' if you prefer.)

Today - We have no plans so I guess it will be more Dear Jane and more Diehard movies. Too cold to sit outside. Won't be a bad day!

Hope everyone has some time in high cotton today!

Good heavens, it 1' out. I'll have to warm up the car before I go out to day! Today I'm finally joining WW last night I check out all the maps on line & have called the church where the meeting is held. There will be sewing when I get home plus some phone calls.

Lois....Oh great...adding a 2ed person will make a big difference..

Vicky....what a wonderful day for you. A reorganized & cleaned sewing room is the best place to sew.....& the new light. I'm happy to hear you are feeling better today.

Dolores....Hope your HD's appt goes smoothly. I can't wait to see your quilt. I've never done one center just all the same size blocks.

-33C I promised to relieve 2 quild members, selling tickets for the quilt show March.. To purtey meself up in this cold transit ride for 10-15min. really doesn't appeal to me..

Animals must sense change in weather for my cat was playing hide and seek this early morn, couldn't find him.. PITOU I NEED MY COFFEE IN THE MORN. So out he came, jumped on the counter, by his milk bowl, waited for me to sit with my coffee, before drinking his milk.. Then, yester 2 huge beautiful dogs, escape their fenced yard, running through traffic..

This cat can sure run a mile at 5:00am, it wakes up the neighbor, yes the one who is nutso.. Then, he starts his MV.. Maybe he should get a cat.

Yay! it's raining. Too bad I can't stay home. I have to go get Drew and I have a Dr's appt. at 10:30. We have to take Drew with us. Oh this will be fun...I have his snacks ready for the 45 min. drive. Gotta go, see you all later.

Lois.. glad training is improving. sometimes it's just the trainer, some can explain well others aren't able to get their point across..you'll do well, you're a smart cookie.

Maryz, poor Scottie being made to sleep in a cold trailer.. mean mean Bill...can't wait to see your dear Jane blocks.... we prefer linner...

Kathy, I can't imagine only 1*.. you better run quickly to your car or you'll freeze. I bet you all are used to it but isn't it difficult to bundle up to go outside then take off your layers for the meeting then bundle up again? or do you wear one really warm coat?

Afternoon everyone

Everything is still all up in the air here, so much running around and checking in with various members of the family, I feel quite out of sorts, not sure whether I’m coming or going and losing track of time and days – slightly frazzled but still hanging on in there

My cousin went to get her eyes checked 2 days ago as shes been getting blurred vision....they sent her straight to the eye hospital and they think she has a tumour on her eye, but think its a secondary tumour, so shes having full work ups to find/rule out anymore tumours.....bit of a worry but I’m trying not to worry about her too much until I know for sure theres something to worry about

Lois – glad your training is going well with the extra person

Vicky – have a lovely day with Shannon and I think sitting and directing is the best way hope you get better soon, this has been going on far too long xxx

Delores – your quilt sounds lovely, all those different blocks hope the specialist appt goes well

Did finish lotto march blocks and in envelope to ship out:) Thought I would wait til march LOL.

Busy month for me march is. At a conference for 3 days for my continuing ed requirements for license:) also busy at school with meetings and testing UGH.

Turned in my letter of intent to return next year. Really wanted to retire but want to make sure all is paid up and no bills left before I do. )

well back to work.

I cut hexis yesterday to take with me to conference to work on grandmothers garden quilt:) LOL like I needed to start another project It will be my traveling project for a while I am sure
