Good Morning and Happy Hump Day,
Today I'm home but have to go food shopping and have a few errands to run.
Then this afternoon I might sew a little.
I Hope Everyone Has A Great Day.
Prayers Go Out To All In Need.

Yester was -4C, nice to see the snow melting a smitch. So funny, to see ktn sit on steps and looking at dripping roof..
Least slow melt guess good, prevent flooding, but everyone is just wanting spring..
Customer alert: Are you aware, that google.com is viewed by many. I entered my name in search engine, my personal photobucket.com page came up.. Be careful not to click on public in photo or anything else than IMG also be careful your pictures of family aren't in jeopardy. I don't have anything to identify my house or family other than quilts. Same with facebook.com enter your name in search engine see where you get.
Mind you, I did discover my grandfathers brothers & sis, children which was interesting, people often referred me to another line of family. Just be careful.

Good morning Lois and those that follow.
I am off today and the temperature is above 35. Yippee skippee!! After breakfast I am going to finish the baby quilt and look through my stash for fabrics to piece the backing with. I have a print to do part of the backing with. So, I am part way there. Then back to the wedding quilt. I have to say that having breast cancer has really put a crimp in my quilting. Oh well. Just have to deal with it. Have a wonderful day.
Lois - have a great day after running your errands

Good morning. My day changed yesterday, I felt pretty good in the morning and I did a little cleaning(picked up the front room and swept the floors) It hit me like a ton of bricks! You would have thought I cleaned the whole house top to bottom I was so exhausted the rest of the day. I napped but never got into the sewing room.
Today Tia said she is coming over....I hope I can stay awake all day, if I get like yesterday I will just excuse myself and go lay down.
I hope you all have a great day,
Vicky
P.S. Lois how is your foot doing? Is it all better now?

We have an SUV there. I will spend the night at my parents in Fort Collins. Will be up the mountain early tomorrow to see and do. Meet insurance adjustor Friday morning at the house. Have no idea how long this will take.
To those of have PM'd messages, I will try and answer you soon. My wifi connection will have to be my phone or go to a coffee shop in town.

Good Morning,,,I posted a nice little note and the internet here decided to quit...so here I am back again....so far the vacation is going pretty good....Ken broke a jack on the camper and had to buy a new one....but it wouldn't be our vacation if he didn't have to fix something,
We ate at a fabulous restuarant yesterday and boy talk about blowing ones diet. Key lime pie was so good..too.
Today we are headed to the gym to work out for an hour...it cannot hurt.. we actually miss the gym when we cannot go. I need it for the bones and Ken needs it for his back and knees....unfortunately the pool is not opened and so we will just use the gym equipmen t.
We have supper in the crockpot and will sew and relax this afternon...I am anxious to work on the FPP from the class I took. Right now I need to get oatmeal cooked and coffee...
Hope you all have a great day....prayers said for all of you.XXXOOO

Happy Wednesday everyone, yesterday did not go as planned.. Took my car on to have them check an oil leak and after waiting for three hours, came home in a loaner car. Mine has several cracked seals and a condenser had to be replaced. It is only three yrs old... Guys in the service dept told me this was very common for my car, not what I wanted to hear!! May need to rethink keeping it if it starts giving me problems, I drive way too much and can't take a chance of it breaking down while I'm on the road by myself.
I put that time to good use, looked at sewing room ideas on line.. The space I have isn't very big and I need to fit two sewing machines, a serger and my long arm so it is going to be a challenge to say the least. I really NEED ideas for storing my fabric stash, at the moment, I have it in 15 footlocker size tubs in two different closets in the house and it takes forever to find anything. I miss having my separate quilting room but the move from a two story to a single story home was necessary. I'm thankful there is a tandom garage and when hubby suggested we put ceiling to floor cabinets so I can use it for my excess batting and backing you know I said YES!! I'm very happy with that part but need to figure out what stays inside and what will be in the wall of fabric LOL
Hope all have a blessed day and are able to spend time doing something that makes you smile.. TTFN Happy Stitching!! Debi

Good morning...
Velda, glad you're getting your good weather
Debi, don't you love when they figure out the baby gate.. mine used to climb over hers.. ugh
Kath2, what patterns are you using for your Civil War quilt?
Diana, hope you got your sewing supplies.. I had a pair of pink handled little scissors that I just loved but they are gone now... have you seen them?
Kathy, you just shoveled and the snow is back... you can surely come here for the birthday party, it will be the first weekend in March and it's roller skating.. I am the skate lacer, chauffer, payer and water getter..I wear many hats..lol
Cindy, sorry about Don.. hope those scans get scheduled very soon so you both can move forward.. you keep us posted and I'll keep praying..
Chrissy, glad things are looking up.
Lyn, hope you find a flight or some way home soon.. sorry about MIL.
Lucie, if you come back in your next life as a millionaire I will come back as your best friend..lol... I would love a poached egg on toast...
Sandy, glad your students are doing well... I think I saw an eagle on my way home yesterday but am not convinced, he was in the low lands and not up in hte mountains.
Sooz, if there are a lot of almond trees blooming in your area the headaches could be allergies..
Chickie, DH interrupts me often too.. he will come in my sewing room, I turn around to see what he wants and he asks, why aren't you sewing, then he sits down to talk... ugh...
Sherry, did you clean your sewing room? did you find my scissors? they have pink handles... I have been looking for them forever...
Jana, I am with Ethan on this one... can't have no stinkin' pants hiding your shoots..
Izzy, the way things are going even if you put off retirement for a year it may be a year full of snow days...
Leah, are you taking up genealogy?
Suzette, I haven't noticed a damper in your quilting.. you are still going like gang busters.
Lois, I am sending Jerry food shopping.. told him I wanted salad tonight... can he pick up anything for you?
Vicky, have a fun Tia day...
Lyn, happy travels...
Judi, I am so glad you're having fun.
Debi, sorry about your fabric troubles...I also have a very small space, I just wish my cutting table was easier to get around.. as it is now two sides are against the wall and part of the third side has a sewing table next to it.. I can't get in that back corner...ugh.
well I am off, you all have a super day
Chriss

Good Sunny Morning......
We only got 3" of snow yesterday and somehow it was 'warm' enough to soften the ice under the snow. I was able to shovel some of it off where I drive. May get snow/rain this afternoon.
I got the call yesterday & my new desk will be delivered tomorrow. I need to empty my desk & give it a cleaning back there.
The white sashing is looking good on the black/white quilt. I don't think I'll ever hand quilt this one, black is very hard to push needle through. Other than that it's sewing.
Lois....I'll send you my list for food shopping. Happy sewing.
Lea....may your snow keeping melting slowly.
Suzette....at this rate you will have it finished by Sat. I think you are doing an amazing job for some with breast cancer. ((((((HUGS))))))
Vicky.....I hope today goes better for you.
Lyn....Sorry you have to make this trip. I hope it not as bad as you expect.
Judi....you sound more relaxed even with a broken jack. I've never had it but I hear KL Pie is the best in FL.
Debi...sorry about your car. It is too young to be falling apart. Oh too bad we can't come over & help you solve your sewing room problems. I bought 2 free standing white press board cabinets from a kmart/wallmart type store for about $100 ea....maybe less. The are just the perfect size for folded fabric.
Love & Prayers to all,,,,,,,Kathy

Good morning!!
I only have a. Knute before they shut off the internet in the study. Cindyg - prayers continue for both you and Don.
Lois - I don't need anything from the store but sure would like some chocolate.
Leah - May the melt be with you.
Suzette - I'm with you and the snow. Enough already!
Vicky - rest up and enjoy Tia's visit.
Lyn - good luck with your travels today.
Judi - what kind of restaurant did you go to? You do sound relaxed.
Debi - what kind of car? I wouldn't be happy with that news either.
Chriss - how do you fit so many hats on your head? My great aunt had an almond ranch out in CA somewhere - I wonder if she had problems with allergies. I think she lived in Gridley?
Kathy - happy new desk day tomorrow!
Have a great day. xoxo Sharona
