Today I will be doing all the stuff that I put off for the last 2 days then I will do some sewing.

Good morning Lois and those that follow.
I was so happy yesterday when I put the last stitch in the binding for Lydia's quilt. In a little while I am going to make the label and get it on the quilt. I have another baby quilt to make for my nephew and his wife. The same couple that I am making the Braid in a Day quilt for. They are having a baby shower for her on the 22nd. I don't know if I should stop working on the wedding quilt and start to work on the baby quilt or do both at the same time. I will figure it out. The baby quilt is going to be simple with a nice pieced border. While I am doing some baking today I will figure it out. Have a great day.

Worked on my Dresden last night...got the first ring together... then I stopped to do the fussy cut for El's Mystery class this week. 32 of those suckers! I am not sure if I want to work with the fussy cuts now or use the blue I have. Will wait til the video and find out.

Going to eat a piece of pie left from dinner at Polly's and catch up on some tv shows. Later today I have laundry and shopping...ugh!

Darn! I accidentally hit the wrong key and away went my post! I'll try again.

LEAH - I saw your quilt over in Photos and it's really sweet. You do sew beautifully!!

SOOZ - having to choose between sewing projects - like our other "SUZ" is also doing - is such a blessing, I think!

SUZ - what a dilemma - finish the wedding quilt or put it aside to start one for the baby. When is the baby due? Do they know if it's a boy or a girl? Do you know what you want to do for the baby quilt? I believe I'd be thinking 'baby', but until I had all the facts in, I'd pour on the coal for the wedding quilt.

We are in Ft. Stockton, TX with one more travel day to get to Austin. I was so ready to hit the road a few days ago but now I'm so ready to stop with the road!! I want to be 'home' for a while now. We have good friends waiting for us at the campground where we'll be setting down our wheels tonite. and of course, my DD is close by, too. Can't wait to see her! Only another 350 miles or so to go.

So sorry to hear that Cindy B lost her mom and that Sherry lost her hubby. Prayers for you both!

Good Morning,,,from snowy Michigan. We got another inch or so of snow last night,,,,,yuk yuk yuk.

We may have Sophia for the day as the boys and their parents are going snowboarding,,,Liam saw the olimpic ppreviews and wanted to try it so they signed up for some lessons and a day in the snow..Sophia is too little so if they decide in this bad weather to go anyway....she will come and bake bread with grammie. We will sew a little too..She loves to play with scraps and pretend to sew. maybe a quilter in the making,,,(her Mom is not any way shape or form interested)

I will do more gathering for the trip today,,,Ken may try to unfreeze the camper and get the slides opened today.....Summer clothes and "Stuff" that won't care if it is cold will go out there,,,,we may leave thur instead of friday depends on the weather. Ken cannot drive the 35 ft 5th wheel on snow covered or bad roads...I don't blame him...

My FPP class was great. this old dog was able to learn a new trick or to and I will make the block one day soon...maybe in Florida.

well I need coffee and to make my bed,,,m ay be a few little chores...

Good Sunny Morning but freezing.

OMG...that knitting class was so much fun. I was 1 of 3 'students' & one was a 17 year old girl. She was so sweet and she was a Girl Scout.
My doll sweater's pieces will be done today. Then 2 more to knit. DGD now has 3 Am Girl dolls. I'll go back on the 22ed for an other class.
It was so good to get out and interact with people.
I'll be knitting today.

Lois.....hope you catching up doesn't take too long.

Suzette.....happy happy dance for you!! It is a beautiful & sweet quilt.....looked like chocolate & cherry whipped cream. I think you should do the baby quilt so it's done for the shower.

Sooz.....love your Dresden. 32 fussy cuts!! You should use them they are already cut. I could enjoy a piece of apple pie.

Maryz....sorry you lost it. That is a pain. When you get to Austin give a shout out to my DD2 & DGC. And give your DD a ((HUG)) from me.

Judi....Oh Boy....your snow will be here late tonight & tomorrow. I watched those snowboarders on TV last night they are crazy brave. So high up. Good thing they start off slow. I'm happy your class was great.....help me what is FPP? Something I should know.

Chrissy.....So Happy To See You!!!! You are missed. I'm happy to hear Mymy will have his surgery soon & then be feeling better.

Becca......sorry about you post. There's a storm coming across the North & up from the South. I'm hope they do not meet over New England.
