My sweet husband Harold passed away this afternoon at the Hospice. We had moved him there this morning and he died peacefully an hour later. He was surrounded by family and friends. At least he is no longer suffering. I don't think that I have ever seen him so sick in all of our married life of 47 years. I want to thank you all for your prayers during his illness.

You have 47 yrs of memories to tuck in your heart and hold onto forever. Share your grief but also share your happy memories with your family and friends, especially the younger ones. Praying that have someone there, like family, to be with you right now.

We will be here for you whenever you need to come here and talk to us or ask for prayers and support. Wish I could be there to help in some way. Words can never take away the pain and sadness but hope they can offer a little encouragement for the sad days ahead.
