I posted in the Swaps thread about hosting an Autograph Block Swap... if there's enough interest, I will write it up. I love autograph quilts and would love one from this fab group! So everyone run over and let me know you are willing to join...so I can get the info started. I am thinking of having the blocks due in April-ish... what do you all think?
I have ironing to do tonight and some more chart reviews, not to mention any calls I get. Not sure if I will get to sew. oh... by the way...
JOIN THE FEBRUARY LOTTO SWAP TOO!!!!! lol
Okay, enough silliness... will post more later... just wanted to say hello before I start working... so "hello!!!"

Good morning Pals
Thanks Sooz for the heads up on the AB's swap. I have many but would love to swap with those who would need one from me and visa versa.
Yesterday was a day!!!! I can't say that I wouldn't want to live it over as much was finally figured out. Unfortunately it means that my LA machine and computer are down for the count until next Wednesday

An hour phone call to Grace Co first going over this and that and that and this that ended up putting me in a panic thinking I had ruined my LA only to be told to call APQS. I was blessed to have Dawn answer the. We spent 1.5 hours FaceTiming (LOVE IT) going over every inch of the machine and working the computer. To my relief every error code popped up and then 4 more after that. After much deliberating she came up with a couple of fixes but I needed Rob to be in on this. She called back last night after dinner and went over everything with him and it was determined that she will send us a new black box that will let the motor see the computer. The errors are a first for her. She says I AM SPECIAL - LOL!
So I wait and work on DGS, Spencer's Marvel Comics Birthday Quilt.
All in all I am good. If it had to happen, now is the time before I put the Braid quilt on the frame.
Prayers continued for Cindy and those whose loved one are going through major health issues. Those handling the cold and those handling the every day life happenings.
HUGE HUGS to you all!!!
Sooz - thanks for the plug for the Lotto. It is a QIAD block so I was hoping that more would have joined. If anyone needs more directions please let me know.
Lois - Hope your cleaning goes quick so you can play with some cotton.

Good Morning cotton Pals
Well enough about underwear.
How is everyone doing this great day.
I have some errands to do today and then strip
bed and a load of laundry,
I plan on doing some sewing today too.
I was so sad to hear about debs husband yesterday.
I always feel that QIAD gals are a special breed
of caring and loving people. We are always there to
pick you up when you need it.
Deb God will guide you thru and give you the strength to
make it.
Looks like everyone is doing swaps and lotto. I think
I will have to see what is involved in that.
I have to finish my quilt for my anniversary first. which
I getting there. I think I have 5 fo 6 more blocks to do
before I start putting it together.
I am getting a little sick of the cold weather and the
snow but spring will be here soon.
Have a wonderful day all.

I'm going to try and get myself up off this couch and into the sewing room today. I have 6 Sylvia blocks that need doing.
We've got a birthday party to go to tonight for my grandchildren. Abby will be 16 tomorrow and Scoty is going to be 18 on the 12th, nothing like a grandchild turning 18 to make you fell OLD. Caleb my youngest is 18 in April and Scoty and Caleb have always been best of friends. I think it's been fun for them that Scoty is older than his Uncle.
I hope you all have a good day,
Keep looking up!
Vicky

Good morning everyone.
Last night I was looking at Facebook. My older step daughter posts a message that she found out that sometime in the last year she had had a heart attack. She has an idea of when it was. Now, I love Facebook to keep in touch with friends and family. But, this is something that she should have at least called her dad!! How quickly can tests be run to find out the damage? This is part of out family that doesn't know how to say thank you when you do something for them. When you send them something, you have to call and find out if they even got it. I guess I expect too much from people. I have found out that my last radiation treatment is March 6th. I have gotten used to leaving work early. It will take some adjustment to go back to my old schedule.

today, I have uglies to do and work on Lydia's quilt. Have a great day.

Spring is near for kitten goes out despite the cold and stays longer. The air getting warmer but wind makes it colder. His bragging rights are starting to travel further. Snow on his paws not so dry/hurtful then the birds start singing and mice want out of the snow hole.
I'm invited to attend quild workshop, waiting for transit on Saturday service long in the cold. I try to convince myself once there maybe get a ride or a taxis srvc as a treat. Be great to get out, inexpensive.. Then the camaraderie is boost moral to face another 2wks of cold. Guild mtg again on Thurs.
My favorite, Quilt Market, next weekend. Hard to hold on to your money until then, when you are in the fabric temptation impulse to pick up some flannel charm packs from a fabric store you really like.
The undees I made, sell for $14.00 a pair on ebay... It costs what .50c to $1.00 to make!

Good Morning Girls
Am up before the sun this morning, in a little while it will be time to get ready for work! It sure hasn't warmed up here at all--3 Below this morning and we're expecting a dusting of snow.
Had a great day off yesterday... Finally forced myself to go get groceries so at least there is food in the house. Came home and worked on my Feb Lotto blocks, got 3 done and they look much better than the picture I originally posted. Will Photo them and post later on this weekend. Got all my bird houses packed up and ready to mail on Monday. Room mate was off too, but she sat on the couch all day!
Suzette.. Facebook is a great way to keep up with news and stuff... But that News from you DSD sure would have been nice to hear in person! Yeah for being almost done with radiation!! Which reminds me to call and schedule for my Mammo...Good thing they take appts on Saturdays!
Vicky... I never feel old until I realize how old my kids/grand kids are! You and your DD must have been pregnant at the same time! Hope you are feeling better these days.
Sooz.. I love Autograph swap too. In fact I have 2 sets of blocks from previous swaps I haven't put together yet! I may join just for the fun of it.. but we'll see how the spring/summer goes... so much house stuff to do around here after room mate is gone and snow melts.
Dolores.... I sure hope you're right that spring will be here soon. It's getting depressing looking out at all the snow day after day. I'm ready for green grass!
Teresa... doesn't it just figure that you'd be the one the stump tech support with an error message they haven't seen before! Sounds like you are getting good service tho. Now that I have my Feb Lotto blocks almost done, I'm wondering what you have up your sleeve for March?
Lois... Enjoy your day! When do you start your new job? They posted a new job where I work too, that I thought about applying for, but I'm thinking I'll stay where I am. I like what I do.
Speaking of work, I better get movin' and get ready. Need to find something to take for lunch. Am hoping we have a quiet day as we have a relief pharmacist today and that always makes it interesting!
Wishing you all a most wonderful day, with many prayers for all in need.

Good morning..it is 3 hear. I will head to the foundation paper piecing class. I am not sure i will ever do this but my sis wants to learn and me to go with her, she even paid for the class. I picked out a very hard block to do...it is called "New York Beauty Circle of Flying Geese" I got it off Craftsy. Don't even ask me why I got it. it was an impulse. so now i will see if it can be done.
I have my autograph quilt from the 2010 swap. I don't do swaps normally way too busy for deadlines. but I would be happy to make a few blocks for those who don't have one from me if you want it. Just PM me your address and I will get one to you.
Suzette when my Mom died I called my sister whos kids immediately posted on face book before the rest of the family was even told..My niece got really snotty with me when I told her to take the post down .She refused and that is how a few of the grandchildren found out their grandmother had died.. very sad...and immature. (niece is not a kid either) and yes I have family who never acknowledges birthday gifts or card sent,,,and they are close family, I usually have to call and ask if the gift or card arrived,,,makes you not want to send anything,,,,but they sure would acknowledge if they didn't get asnything,
I watched Eleanor's new video and it was fun....She and her mystery guest sure had a great time. I love them both,. I think i might try and make this block just for fun.
Well we (me and kitty) are headed down to make some breakfast and get the day started,,,Hope you all stay warm and happy today.
Vicky my Mom was older than her Aunt,,,we thought that was strange,,,but my Mom got pregnant at the same time as I was with my first,,,,she miscarried but it would have resulted in my son being older also. Mom was past 45 at the time...it was a shocker.
Happy day to all XXXOOO
