It is with sadness but joy as well that I post this. Cindy just texted me that her Mom (diagnosed with terminal cancer) has taken a turn for the worse. Cindy spent the night with Mom and her sister. Mom has asked for Family to fly down quickly. Julia gets in at 10pm and the rest at 11pm..
The joy comes in know that her Mom will be with the Lord soon. She will be healed, dancing on streets of gold in the presence of her Savior - finally in His 'forever home'. Her fight will be over. How wonderful it is to have perfect peace and hope in the midst of great sorrow.

"& on that day when my strength is failing,
the end draws near & my time has come,
still my soul will sing Your praise unending,
ten-thousand years & then forevermore!"

I know that Cindy covets your prayers for the family, especially her Dad. She is thankful for her savior and her friends to lean on when she needs it most. Please keep her and the family in your prayers. Thank you.

I met her Mom 2 years ago and she was a real sweetie....even remembered me when Cindy mentioned it....prayers are said for her journey....

Thank you Teresa for posting this. CindyB, prayers for you and your family today. I lost my mom 2 yrs ago and it is still so fresh in my mind. It is never easy to lose your mom, no matter how prepared you think you are. May God be with you and your whole family as you sit by her side. May God bring comfort and peace to all of you. May you be surrounded with many many angels of support and hope and love.

Take your memories of her and tuck them into a corner of your heart. they will always be there whenever you feel sad and are missing her. Share not only your grief but also your memories with the family. The best way to celebrate your mom's life is to try to live as she lived, and tell the younger generations all about her.

Cindy B be strong, I don't know your age! I lost my mother to ALS when I was 22yrs. The time when dating, marriage, having husband, children, knowing her. I joined quilting after her passing. That was her passion. I new nothing about quilting nor care any in the long run I discovered much more, about my history, and reasons for quilting.. It became a place where I could be there with her..

Her picture sits by my bed tk when get up and last to see when I sleep. Memories never die. She will be your guiding angel, as mine has been for life.

Your father holding strong? My father grieved much differently than myself. Yet, I felt after her passing, he was doing better than any of us.. He was adjusting better...

Cindy your in my prayers but really sounds like MOM is heaven bound and cured. God bless and may his hands comfort you until one day you shall meet again:)
