Good morning Pals
Well yesterday was a very decent day. My Dr. appt went well. I am off the pain pill that was making me sick. Doubled the Cymbalta now to 60 (Thank the Good Lord for Mail pharmacies. $80 vs $10 for 3 months). I have a diet that I am to follow for the Fatty Liver but she also told me that skinny people can also have Fatty Liver so be sure to have your Dr check you liver levels. Thankfully I also have Courtney to help with the foods. I am terrified of eating to many carbs. Rob is also going to spot me on the ellyptical machine so I don't fall. I am feeling positive.
We went to Texas Cattle where I had tilapia and veggies before we went to Rob's Dr to check the progress on the back of his ankle. Everything is very tight and he is still limping. I am glad i went. He now has therapy for 2 weeks instead of 1. We did have time to stop at JoAnn's where I picked up some more RED at $2.99 a yard and 4 yards of a WOW I have have never seen for the same price so PALS go check out JoAnns and think about joining the Lotto this month or gather up fabrics that you might need in the future. DON'T MISS IT!!
Today is hopefully one more play day with the computer before I put the Braids back on and quilt the triangles. I am excited!!!!
Hope you all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY finding JOY in the LITTLE THINGS!
HUGE HUGS!!!

Good morning Teresa and those that follow.
Yesterday was a LONG day. I had no energy at all. Then about 2 hours before I left work the heat went out. Nothing like working at a heating and air conditioning place with no heat. LOL! Needless to say I did not even work on the binding for Lydia's quilt. The rain finally stopped yesterday about lunchtime but now we are supposed to get freezing rain. Thank goodness I am off tomorrow. Have a wonderful day.
Teresa - I am glad you were able to get answers about your liver.

Like how Theresa puts it 'I HAD TO STOP AT JO-ANNES' fabric was calling her, she had to stop.. But good she did stop wonder how long she spent in that shop! When I enter fabric shop only for 1/2hr. 4hrs have gone and I'm still there. Only thing that gets me out is my growling stomach, if they allowed food in the shops I'll still be there.
No heat how are fabric shop they have heating? Olympics will start in a few days, need to find an excuse to spend McDonald, to watch flat screen TV. Maybe a networking moment with all the short funded folks.

NO School again. Oh my at this rate we wont get out until June. LOL Yes we have to make up every single day we miss. They have already taken all our professional days away. The only day they wont take is Oaks you know the horse race before KY Derby. What kind of message does that send our parents and kids LOL. One year we had to work that day there were so many teachers that used sick days and personal days that we didnt have enough subs to cover teachers. Well now they close for that day. Its a big thing in KY you know:)
So we were up to May 30th in make ups with yesterday so if there is 31 days in may thats where we are now. YIKES. My bday in June 3 and looks like we are getting close I have only had one year we worked on that day and if was closing day for teachers that year.
Well looks like I get to sew. SBS blocks here I come didnt make it to them yesterday. I finished celtic's borders and so proud all from scraps no purchases. May work on taxes today too. Got to get all our farm paperwork together and drop those off soon. Grain bin empty and need money to pay for that expense. DH going to work on Craigs list site to sell our goats by. Hope that works out.
Found out the couple getting married, well our womens group giving wedding shower in April. That moves up quilt time YIKES so going to play with that maybe after SBS blocks done.
Lois how is you leg feeling with all this cold? My foot where they put plate and screws in couple years ago aches when rainy and cold.
Suzzette sorry your so tired is it the treatments getting you down. How many more do you have?
Teresa I cant do those elypticals either. LOl heck I cant even stand in one place without falling over and knocking out my teeth LOL Good luck get you a safety belt:))
Lea no heat in fabric store only once did I run into that but was in Hawaii LOL no AC it was a huge warehouse and they just open the bay door for air.
I feel like no heat this am. Fire went out I awoke at 3 and restarted it. We do not use furnace in winter too expensive. So I have been wide awake since then. Got good fire in stove now and starting to warm back up. I had it up to 77 in here yesterday so doesnt get too cool if fire goes out. Its still 69 in here. I will get it back really warm so wont have to worry:) Now downstairs is another story. Will need to start space heater in sewing room. It will be about 50 down there.
Well I have rambled enough. More coffee needed. will probably make more bread today. Got 3 loaves of raisin and 2 white yesterday; will make wheat and multi grain today:)
God Bless and Happy thoughts

Re: Tuesday, February 4th, 2014
I need to jump in and say hello. I have been reading your posts, but just didn't have anything to tell you from here.
Just been trying to stay warm. Haven't felt like doing any sewing the last three days. I would like to see the sun shine, SOON!!
I am NOT looking forward to the Olympics taking over all of our TV and news. I will be glad when it is all over. Just hope there will be NO problems with terrorists and all.
I need to get my blocks mailed off to Teresa for the Lotto. It's early, I know, but I have them finished, so they might as well begin there trek off to California.
I might look over some unfinished projects and work on them today??
Teresa: Glad you had a good report and outcome of your appt.
Lois: I bet you will be so glad to see warmer weather, too. Your foot still has healing going on and the warmer weather should make it feel better.
Suzette: Hope you are getting plenty of rest to help you through treatments.
Leah: Sounds like you look forward to the Olympics. Hope you get to view them on BiG Screen!
Blizzy: You are hoping for Spring to be early, too. Hope this snow and junk will be over soon. I am sick of the cold weather! That's what we came south to get away from, and this year it just followed us and has been hanging around all winter.
Love you all, hoping your day will bring you a little sunshine and happiness.

Good morning all,
I hope everyone stays warm and safe on the roads if you have to go out. I'm getting ready for work, going to try to get to Joann's today, would love to wander the fabric forest. Want to check on fun fabric for a quilt of hands. Not sure how I want to it to look but am in a creative mood....
My garage project is about half done, got the cabinets and drawers installed and unpacked about 20 of the 45 boxes. Will be home this weekend so I plan to tackle that again. Really want it done by valentines day, a perfect way to show my sweetie how much I love him and the new cabinets LOL. After that I tackle the spare room and my sewing area and the new house will feel like home. I have my work cut out for me but am determined to be done by the end of May so I can stitch away the summer months!
Prayers go out to all in need, will check back in a bit... Happy Stitching!! Debi

Good morning,,hope you are all warm and cozy. it is only 8 here AGAIN we are headed tp the gym, Ken is going to the gun club with DBIL and another friend, they might be too cold to shoot today,,,,i refuse to go anywhere except the gym when it is 8 degrees. we are expecting more snow too....I AM SO OVER THIS,
I did start pulling out stuff for Florida. it will stay on a big pile in the dining room till next week if it doesn't warm up I may just pile it in the camper the best I can and clean when I get to warmer weather,
My Wings won last night so I feel better, but they are struggling this year,
next hexxie quilt is started it will be red and white,,,haven't decided on a pattern yet, I need a few FQs of red on white print whicj I will pick up at my FPP class on saturday. I did run to Joanns yesterday and picked up fusible...I didn't find any fabric I liked,,so will get it from the LQS. I know Joanns tend to be less expensive but sometimes the quality isn't there at least at the joanns here, the fabric feels rough and stiff...I will buy the Kona there though it is good.
Well I need to get moving,,bone pill today...have a great day XXXOOO

Good morning all! Just waiting for the next big storm that is supposed to start this afternoon. They are calling for anywhere from 6 to 10 inches. I am so sick of snow. Another storm is supposed to come in this weekend also.
I am not a fan of the Winter Olympics except for curling. It just fascinates me for some reason. I got hooked on it a couple of Olympics ago. The rest just is so boring. Thank God for my Direct TV so I have lots of other stations to watch. I just hope that there is no violence during the games.
DH will be coming home this afternoon instead of going to a rehabilitation center for a month to get his strength back like the doctor wanted. Medicare says DH is not "sick enough" for them to pay for it even though he has so little strength. However, they will pay for a therapist to come in to our home from his home care company to come in 3 times a week for about a month. The doctor wanted him to get more intensive care at the in patient center but that "ain't gonna happen" unless we pay for it at $1500 per week. NO WAY! Oh well worse things could happen. Thanks for all your good thoughts and prayers.
Well, have to go give Pepper her IV and get some breakfast. Prayers for all who need them. Stay in and keep warm.
Sherry

Good morning all. I am going to the store and library about 16 miles away. This is how far I live away from anywhere.
More snow Who made mother nature mad, apologize now. LOL
We are to get another 6 to 8 inches. O maybe my neighbor will get me out again.
I will be sewing as soon as I get home.
I hope all of you have a safe and productive day.
