2:30 am Fell asleep watching TV I hear the wind whistling snowing. A date on calendar is set aside for Ground hog day! Snow plows emitting their bleeping sounds trying to clean the streets. "Where will they all put it?"
Worked on pricing my quilt for March show. Ktn tests all my quilts before send off.. He even named his beautiful puffy Xblock sampler flannel quilt, to be his own now.. He curls up on it to sleeps. If I sit on it, he comes to snipe at my feet, nose but until I get off, and he takes over. My my now, OWNERSHIP? 'll Have to start charging rent.

DH has gone to London today with Charley, a little dad and daughter time, so I'm getting to spend the morning undisturbed in my studio - bliss
I spoke too soon yesterday, as soon as I signed off and said it looked like a nice day, the heavens opened and it didn't stop raining all day, I'm hoping for a better day today - fingers crossed!!!!

Good morning everyone.
I am plugging away on my braids for my nephew's wedding quilt. When I came in from studio I went out and got out mail. I had a letter from our health insurance. It had a bunch of medical mumbo jumbo. So, my red headed temper got up and I called our health insurance. Turns out my radiation oncologist is not in network. I figured since the dr that referred him would have given me a name of someone in network. Long story short. The dr and insurance worked it out and he is being paid as if he was in network. So, lesson learned. Check yourself and make sure your doctors are in-network. After some uglies today back out to my studio. Have a wonderful day.

Morning all -
I am off to bed but stopped into say a HUGE HI! and wish you all a great weekend.
Was able to finish the Monkey quilt and even the binding which is why I am still up. Would have taken less time but has to do a bit of frogging on the second row. Still need more pratice going from row to row but did alot better on rows 3 and 4. Will post a pic after I give it to Jenifer next weekend
A HUGE THANK YOU to Gmaann, Jana and Scraps for the instructions on how to get to the Pineapple quilt. Donne will be thrilled.

Frigid this morning BURRR another dusting last night enough to cover cars:) Everything yesterday blew to lower ground up on this hill:) Will have to go up to upper barn in bit and take them fresh water and bust ice in buckets and trough. DH getting new trough and heater today:) yippee we have electric up there now soooo thats awesome. Cant use current trough due to plastic. Need galvanized steel for heaters.

Not sure I would feel safe in that. But then again I think ours is plastic LOL Long as body is steel I guess it works. I would think aluminum would cost more. AHHH there is the real reason LOL
Well waiting on coffee pot this am and then headed to sew some more on my sylvia blocks and then to lay out my bonnie hunter mystery quilt to start sewing those blocks together. Sew many UFO's in a box next to sewing table. I really need to work on lap quilts too. I have 4 needing binded. May do that today too.
Well off I go have a happy sewing day all:)

Quild committee mentioned our quilts to display in show is down this year, and encourage members to crush time and enter quilts for judging. My odds of winning ratio be higher with less quilts I'm busy bee...

So, looking forward to this show, offered to vltr in boutique, so I can study during my stay, and feel I can sell the shirt of your back attitude. 2mths away. 1st we survive the winter.

Good Morning,
Yesterday was a great day, we met up with Mary and Bill for dinner. It always feels like meeting up with a very, very special friend when we meet up with them once a year. I just feel so comfortable with them. The guys kid us that we could talk for two weeks straight. But they do the same thing. Lol. Loved spending time with them again. They are my once a year fix. Lol
Today we will be moving the coach into Quartzsite and go to the RV show. Lots and lots of vendors to see. Think we will spend the day doing the vendor thing and probably leave for home tomorrow. We shall see.
This has been a fun trip, but I am ready to get home and start quilting the three quilts hanging in the closet waiting for me. I am going to work on UFOs this year. I am, I am, I am. I will not start anything else until I get these UFOs done. I will, I will. LOL
Prayers going out for those in need and hugs for all.

Today is the uglies & making muffins. I think I'll start to clean out the file cabinet for the year too. That makes a full day!
Scrap48.....my DGD was born on Groundhog Day! So I'm always looking forward to it. I'm sad to say my DD1 does not put out her quilts out because her 3 cats mess up the hand quilting. So there the 4 quilts sit in a closet. Good luck collecting rent... I sure do hope you win with your wall hanging. Sounds like a good show.
