Good morning Lois and those that follow.
Well, this morning I managed to sleep in. It feels so much better to not wake up way to early. Unfortunately, I have to fast for medicine check this morning. But, that appointment is early. When I get home I have to tidy up. A friend of mine is coming by and we are going to a local coffee shop that is run by a charity. They teach young adults about baking and running a business. They have tea, coffee, chocolates and muffins. The people they work with are intellectually disabled. After that I have a gift card from Joann's to spend. My son gave it to me for my birthday. I may make it out to my studio who knows? Have a great day.
Lois - I can't help but think that insurance regulations are getting worse. They make it so hard to get care.

Hi, all, and all to come!!!
I know I don't post here much, but I felt like posting today. I've been not feeling well for a while, and the doctors are getting closer to a reason (or several reasons) for this. Yesterday, I had a couple of GI procedures and the Upper GI showed severe reflux, a hiatal hernia, and some cells that looked pre-cancer, so they took a biopsy. Results will be back in a week or so. I also have another procedure tomorrow, and that's for the feminine area, there's some thickening there...
I'm doing ok, remaining positive, no sense in wailing and giving in to something that is a "could be" and can be fought in any case. Just wanted to ask for prayers....
In other news, I couldn't resist and checked tracking on a Santa delivery, and it is sew close!!!! I can't wait to hear what the recipient has to say about the package....teeeeee heeeeeeeee!!!!!
Hugs to all, now that I've thrown the news (or no news) out there, other than to close friends, it wasn't that difficult, lol!!!

Good morning from foggy ky. We are supposed to get rain today and then rain mixed with snow, sleet and snow. All starting today thru Sunday. The temps today are in the mid 60s ....by Friday in the teens. It's crazy!
Today I hope to finish the binding on my mug rugs. I have about 10 left to do. Did a few while watching Charlie Brown Christmas last night with the kids. I love that show. I had forgotten how cute Linus is!
I'm off to fix breakfast. Hope everyone has a good day.
Suzette... Have a good day. Hope you find something good at Joann's.
Hugs
Sharon

Good morning, all. It is another cloudy day but we are supposed to get into the high 50s today....no snow. Ken and his buddies are going to a gun shop an hour from here to "shop" and have lunch. It will be good to have 3 or 4 hours to do what i want. I did get the tree up and the lights on (a prelit tree just doesn't have enoughfor me) it is fluffed and waiting,,,,have 6 boxes of ornaments,,,some are fillers but I don't need them. I was going through them and remembered the year my tree fell and many of my onaments broke. I have a box of ornaments that Chris sent and they go on the tree every year, I still get a warm feeling over that, Ken has built me a wide base stand that is very sturdy,,,Still decorating and will soon be time to wrap all the gifts...I will order the 2 left on my list today, Hope you all have a great day, Prayers for those who need,,,and hugs too XXXOOO

Good morning.. it's getting cold here finally.. we got rain yesterday and today it's below freezing.. thankfully the orange tree is covered and so are the pipes...
Kathy, when will Kim find out the biopsy results...prayers for her.. and give her a hug from me next time you see her, she has been through quite a bit...
Cindy.. I feel bad enough about the shaking and peaking.. I am in a 12 step program and hopefully it will help, in the mean time my SS pal is very wise to wait to send something to me... opening day is 4 days away but if the gift were here I could do it in 3...lol..
Chickie.. funny thing about the ear phones... she's had her ipod taken away for over a month, she has nothing to plug the ear phones into at the moment...lol...she did tell me last night that she misses being spoiled...lol...
O'Dorothy, my son really grew up when he went to college too...Mar will get it.. she is just trying to be in charge... and her mean grandma won't let her.. the raking leaves was a real eye opener for me.. send her out to do hard labor.. that will defuse her arguing...lol...why do kids think they will win?
Sharon, fish need constant tank cleaning.. it was not a good fit for us.. and the fish die... why not a cat or dog?
Lois.. clothes are very hard to find... I think I am going to hit the thrift stores for clothes for myself soon... things in regular stores are thin and expensive...
Suzette, hope you ace your test.
Cindy, prayers to you.
Judi, I am glad you still get a warm feeling from the ornaments... you have warmed my heart often...
oops, want to get gas before work.. have a groovy day

Happy Hump Day!
LOIS - I just hate when some guy with no medical training and who doesn't know you or your history decides you no longer need medical care - yet they are never a moment late when collecting premiums. Hope you get the OK to continue.
SUZ - glad you had a happy birthday! That coffee shop sounds like such a good and worthwhile place to spend your coffee dollars. What a great concept! Enjoy your visit with your friend and your stop at Joann's.
CINDY - hi! Long time no hear! Will certainly say some prayers for you.
SHARON - I love Charlie Brown, too. But DH isn't a cartoon person. He's more of a Diehard kinda guy. So I haven't seen C.B. in years. But he did sit through the Shrek Christmas show with me! Your mug rugs sound so cute. I hope you take a few photos for us!
JUDI - you are really rolling through your preparations! We dec'd our tree yesterday, too. I'll take a photo when I come across the camera again. And we didn't use all our ornaments either. We've left the bottom a little bare for obvious reasons. Every year the big, burning question is: white lights or multi-colored. This year it's multi.
CHRISS - I have a baby lilac and a potted jasmine all wrapped in batting scraps and covered up. Plus, I left the deck lights on all night over the jasmine (and the deck is covered) so I hope I don't lose it. And don't forget - there's windows Marilyn can clean if you run out of leaves. and undersink cupboards, linen closets, and toilets. If all else fails, she can iron all your fabric for you! She won't be sassy forever - you better make hay while you've got that going for you! lol!
SHARON - pets. I've had fish tanks and even just goldfish bowls. Lots of cleaning, plus, fish don't give off that warm furry feeling. We had gerbils, but the habitrail tube dropped down, trapped the gerbils in their "skydome" and - well - we ended up with a gerbil funeral. What's the matter with a dog or a couple of cats? Kids love them, and they are warm, loving, fuzzy, and can sleep with the kids. Very satisfying pets. Plus, they won't let you forget to feed them. Of course, unless you have a large fenced yard, dogs do need walking (health benefits for all!), but cats aren't much for walking. We don't even have a litter box for ours. Riley just goes out the cat flap, through the garage, out the second flap, and to her designated potty spot in the back yard. I keep food in her dish, water in her bowl, and pet her when she wants. Easy peasy.
Today, there's some cleaning up to do. Maybe a few more cards. A very chilly dog walk. Make a swag for our door from tree 'scraps'. and get a stew going in the crockpot.
Hope all goes well in your day!

Good morning
) The clouds are sure moving fast out there this morning, very dark clouds. We are going to have 40mph gusts today and just wind wind wind with a chance of rain, it might turn cold today. It has been beautiful weather after our snow, Thanksgiving was like a calm Spring day!
I didn't get my decorating finished up yesterday so that's my plans for today
) I was in town yesterday for 6 hours and man was I tired when I finally got home and unloaded everything! I even had to do a quick wrap job because I found DH's birthday present while I was out so I wrapped it in very girlie bright stripes and put it behind my sewing room door LOL it's a 1st for me, do you think he'll suspect? ;o)I did stop at the Walmart hair place and got 3" cut off my hair, it was bothering me because when I would sit and lean back I would catch my hair and pull it, it still does a little but not bad, I had just gone to my regular girl the first week of Nov and she cut off 2' then but it just wasn't enough for me LOL DH doesn't believe I had that much cut off LOL I guess I'll be climbing Mt Washmore today......again! Never ending job there. Well I better scoot, have email to check and a couple things on FB. I hope you all have a wonderful day! Prayers for those in need.

Good morning! I think I need to throw some sunflower seeds off the back deck. I had a little junco on the windowsill looking in at me as I read your posts. If it snows, I may feed them on the covered deck. The white stuff is in the forecast for tomorrow and Friday.
Chriss—Mar is feeling her way and testing her limits as she grows up and matures; unfortunately, it gives moms and dads gray hairs and wrinkles. I think she may be starting to “get it” with the spoiling remark.
Suzette—what a neat coffee shop! Enjoy your day—a friend, coffee and treats, gift card… sounds perfect!
I’m off to find more coffee and make myself presentable for today. Laundry, floors and sewing are hopefully on my dance card… Enjoy your day! Hope no one has any damage from the storms if you are in their paths and that you can stay warm.
