Good morning Lois and all who follow. There's nothing new happening here today. Need to finish my cup of tea and get my socks and shoes on. Then to warm up the car and off to work. Prayers for each one and be blessed.

Sleepless in Arizona!!! Been up since 1:15 am. Wonder what woke me up. Once that happens, I am up for the day. Grrrr

Today is the beginning of 3 day quilt camp. Boy, am I gonna be tired by the end of the day. Bet I sleep good tonight.

Yesterday, I stood behind a door and Luke, my devil dog, raced around the house looking for me. It was so cute. He would run into the sewing room and then into the den, into each room in the house. Finally I made a noise when he started whinning and boy was he excited to see me. Haven't had anyone or anything that excited to see me in a long time. LOL He is such a sweet dog.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day today. Lot of hugs flying across the airwaves.

Goodmorning all you early birds!!!

Lois: So glad you can now do a little sewing to pass the time of waiting for your body to heal. I bet you are at least glad that the big boot is off. Hope you hear the news you want to hear next week.:)

Carole, Oh I love your report about Luke. What a cutie. I used to play that game with my Willy. He always found me, though. How sweet that your Devil Dog was whinning for you.:)

Mary/Rosebud: How cold does it get there for you. I didn't expect that you would have to deal with all the cold stuff. :)

We woke up to 37 degrees. It was actually suppose to freeze overnight, but there must have been enough clouds to keep us a little warmer. We had some snow flurries around the state yesterday, but did not see them here. Thank goodness.

Today I am meeting an girlfriend for lunch to visit before I leave for the winter. Then I have a couple of errands to run. When I get back from that, I better get my house cleaned. Willy sheds so bad, I think I could clean everyday. LOL

Well, have a great day, my friends.- That goes for all those who will come to visit throughout the day, too. I will BBL.

Good morning all! Just a quick stop in this morning. I have to have Pepper at the Vet's at 8:15 for a blood test. Not used to setting the alarm and getting up early. One promise I made myself when I retired was that I would not set the alarm unless I had to. LOL Need to do some uglies today. Hope to get some sewing done today also.

Have a good day everyone. Prayers for all of you.

Good Morning everyone
We started the day with rain this morning. This weird weather--freezing one day and warm the next. I'm looking forward sewing on my Sylvia blocks today. Have to stay ahead so I can post pictures. Hopefully everyone is busy doing their blocks too. There's going to be some beautiful quilts.

Mary--It was sleepless in West Virginia too.. I would LOVE to get a good nights sleep. It would be a real treat. Have fun at your quilt camp, wish I could come with you.

Velda--we've had a heavy frost that killed everything. Good bye to the gardens until next year.

Lois--Yep Hump day for sure. Where do the weeks go? Seems like I turn around twice and it's Sunday again.

Bless everyone with a wonderful day. Redtop

Good Morning, it is cold we have had frost 2 days in a row now...Ice on the truck. yesterday we winterized the camper that is always sort of sad as we are not going out till February.

I am working on quilty projects and trying to get fall cleaning done some windows are done YEAH! My sunroom is 7 windows,,,and 2 french doors so it is all glass to clean....I noticed the doors are full of little kid hand prints. I will get to that soon.
Today I am headed back to the gym...it has been 6 weeks since my surgery. I will start slow and try for 3 x A WEEK. Kens office is done and he even cleaned out the closet in there,,,ran the sweepper and all...I was in shock over that one..LOL.

Hope you all have a great day...I did go to my BOM class and learned how to do bobbin work. It involves decorative thread hand wound onto the bobbin... and fine matching thread on top...I used a large zig zag and set the tension very loose. You thread the bobbin thread up through the throat with out going through the bobbin tension...just pull it up by cranking the hand wheel. you sew from the back side of the piece....We outlined sewed the piece before we started with light gray thread in the bobbin and invisible thread on top. so you can see where your bobbin work will go...It took a little practice and I had to unsew a few..as my machine was not happy with the set up....so it took a little tweeking. It was not perfect but it is cute,,,I used perl cotton.. what ever thread you use you need to adjust the machine on a sample till you get it where it is pleasing to you...It was a lot of fun...I am very pleased with this class...I have learned a ton of new tricks...

Well I need to get going...coffee and kitty feeding not in that order...XXXOOO

Good morning everyone.
I posted in yesterday's chat the info I got from the cancer class. It was good to see that she wasn't pushing organic. Today after I make bread and get hubby off to work I will go out to my studio and work. Not much else going on here today. Will check back later.

good morning..so much is going on here and keeping me busy.. but such is life.

I am having transmission issues and since my Jeep has 181K miles on it we are seriously headed towards a new car... I have narrowed it down to three but think a Subaru may win the race.. maybe..

plus I need to update my insurance as well as get grandma's in order... and then there is Christmas.. I haven't gotten to work on my SS thingy yet.. I really need to finish that soon..

boy, what a sob story I have..it certainly could be worse...I need to count my blessings.

you all have a super day,

Just a quick note to wish everyone a beautiful day. Myles came home last nite. No visitors until at least Sunday and no school. They will start a new regiment of medications including remicaide in a few weeks. There are two problems. He has to be approved by Medicaid first in order to get the medication because of its obscenely high price and the biggest concern is that he was on mp3 which can have a very severe reaction to remicaide. So, long and short of it he is home, which is a great thing.
0praywrs and positive thoughts going out to all in need
