Good morning,

Today my dh will try to make me a temporary sewing room in the dinning room or move some of my sewing room around will see which idea will work.

Chrissy im so happy that the home of the brave was able to help you with that quilt just by luck I had read about them in a magazine.

Everyone have a great day.

Good morning Lois and those that follow.
I am watching the season finale of Project Runway. I have 2 favorites, Dom and Justin. Either one can win. Next week is the start of Project Runway Allstars. Today, I have a few uglies to take care of then out to my studio. I also have to contact the scheduling person for my dr to get my surgery scheduled. I have bouts of anxiety every now and then. I have had surgery before but not for cancer. Later today I will have some time to myself and work on a quilt. My favorite form of therapy. I was on Facebook last night and found out about another LQS. You can order online but I am not real sure if they have a shop. I am going to send them an email and see. They are in a part of town that has been rejuvenated and it is fun to park and walk around. Have a great day.
Lois - I hope you are able to find some space for sewing.
Chrissy - it is great that you were able to request a quilt. It is a wonder how much better you feel wrapped up in a quilt.

Good morning Lois and all that follow!

Because of the switched up day yesterday I will be going to see Tia and the babies today. We will be making grape juice, she has two bushels of grapes! It will take awhile.
Yesterday I made Shannon a meal and went over to her house with her for a few hours. We cleaned some in the old house and then she showed me the rooms in the other house that are put together.

I got my Sylvia blocks done last night and because my family was watching a sci-fi movie (I hate them) I made two more of the blocks. I would have started fusing the Harley eagle but I need more light to do that.

I have to run and get my shower and head over to the hospital, I have breakfast this morning with my MIL.

Good Morning....

My sister's Mamo's were clear yesterday!!!! We are very happy. I'm going to go read yesterday's post & I'll be back.

I'm back....babysitting was fun. Good thing she had a Dr's appt yesterday poor baby has Thrush. My sister got to her mamo appt and they told her to come back the appt was at 1. Dr's office made a mix up when the made to appt. I was at her most of the day then went to H Depot & a big food shopping. it seem to take for ever.
I think the Lord sent us a greeting card yesterday...I thought of you first. With the sun at my back I drove out of the parking lot at 5:45. In front of me was a blue & pink sky with the biggest moon I've ever seen. Flying across the moon was a flock of geese. That moon looked so big. I just felt He was saying "Don't forget I'm always here for you."

Chrissy....I'm so sorry Mymy is not doing well. He is in my prayers for finding the right 'combo' of meds for him. Good news about the quilt.Shannon will be surprised & comforted.

Tina...so sorry to hear about the puppy.

Jana....I'm happy you like the muffins. I should let Ocean Spray know how good they are. I picked up 6 bags yesterday @ $1.69....usually they are $2.99 a bag.

Lois....Happy day you'll have a place to sew. Enjoy!

Suzette....I hope you 'new' LQS has a store. It's good to have more than one to go to.

Vicky....Again have a wonderful hugging, snuggling & grape juice day.

Tess....wonderful idea...enjoy your day.

Chriss....I'm looking for turkey to go on sale. I's cool out & I need turkey. I'll be over.

Tina....praying for good results at the Dr's. Hope you day goes smoothly.

Love & prayers for all in need......Kathy

Good Morning everyone, I had a minute so thought I'd pop in for a bit. I canned bar-be-que peppers yesterday and need to freeze some today. It's amazing what a little sleep can do--DH and I feel soooo much better. The weather is cooling and there's a promise of frost. With squash, peppers and sweet potatoes left in the garden I need to get busy. But, I'm running away with my DH today. It was decided we need a day.. I'm really looking forward to a day just with each other.

Suzette, my prayers are with you.

Vicky, how are the babies? Your SBS blocks are beautiful. Since seeing your blocks, I am VERY interested in using black in my next quilt.

Kathy, good news about you sister's mamo. I just had mine too. It's always a dread to have, but relief with a good report comes back

Lois, I'm sewing on my dining room table now. My sewing room has turned into a bedroom. I hate the mess, I can see it from the kitchen. But it's better than not sewing...

Take care everyone Redtop

Good morning :o)
Duncan woke me up early so I started laundry and getting the kitchen cleaned up, I was bad last night and didn't do it because I was still feeling a little yucky. I do feel pretty good this morning though. DD's going to the Dr this afternoon so we'll be waiting on pins and needles for what they say.
Lois, I hope it gets all worked out so you can sew :o)
Suzette, I hope they have a shop so you can go wonder around, it sure takes your mind off of other things when you're looking at all that fabric :o)
Vicky, have fun making grape juice :o) I'll have to go see your Blocks, I love watching you all in that thread.
Kathy, YEAH! So happy for your Sis! :o)
Maryz, I have been doing some sewing things but it was getting strips and a few AB blocks ready to send to Virginia, got that finished up yesterday and they are on their way. Mom told me yesterday that the count is at 84 people so I send 100 just in case :o)
Well my dishes have soaked long enough so I better get busy. I'll try to get on later and read yesterdays posts, I know I missed a bunch. I hope you all have a wonderful day! Prayers to those in need.

Good Morning,,I slept in again,,,Of course I stayed up to watch the Wings last night(we won) got one quilt almost all bound, Second one has the prarie points and binding sewed but needs to be hand stitched...I won't do a lot of prarie points they are too labor intensive...it did turn out pretty,,,I will post a photo as soon as it is stitched.

I might try to do a room of windows today....Onr room at a time will get t hem done...I can do the back of the house cause the sun is shinning in the front. 4 windows in the laundry room today. Ken did get t he boiler going but he needs to get the zoning done...this will help as we cn set the upstair a lot lower than the downstairs...keepp our heating bills down.

Need to get my lazy butt busy....Hope you all have a great day....XXXOOO
