Wednesday, October 16th

Post by suzette58 » Tue Oct 15, 2013 10:29 pm

Good morning everyone.
Today finally starts the drug study. I have to get my eyes checked and then once that is done I start the medicine. Once my eyes clear up I am going to get to work in my studio. I want to make some more breast cancer blocks plus make a breast cancer quilt for the daughter of one of the guys at work. She is in her mid thirties and just lost both breasts. Have a wonderful day.

Good early morning here in AZ,

Went to bed last night at 9 and here it is 1:25 am and I am up. I knew this would happen, but I was so tired last night. Was one of those busy days, you know, going from one activity to another. Started with a doctor's appt. to my quilting bee, to our RV Club meeting. But I don't feel tired right now. LOL

Well medicare has only approved my infusion, Orencia, until December 1st. Starting Jan, they say they are not going to pay. So we start this thing all over again. Darn, this has been working for me. Oh well, we will just see if they reverse themselves again. If not there is another one I can go on, but instead of an hour this new one will take 4 hours. and life goes on.

Santa's workshop is still in full force. I am now on throw 6 of 7. These last two are embroderied ice hockey. Starting a mantel quilt for DD1. and so we continue.

I can not believe I got into my sewing room without devil dog getting up. It is so quiet here, no talking coming from him. Ken and I realized that he starts with his talking (making loud noises, almost like loud yawning) when Ken and I are talking to each other. And forget it if we hug each other... he stands up on his hind legs and leans into us. A pretty funny site to see a Doberman 103 lbs on his hind legs. hmmm something we have to work on.. getting him to SHUT UP when we are having a conversation. lol

Today is going to be a stay at home (thank goodness) and working in the Christmas sweatshop.

Suzette - Lots of prayers for the beginning of your journey. Hugs

Thinking always of my pals here and keeping you in my prayers.

Good morning Suzette and Carole. Looks like your days will both be very full today. Mine is the normal humdrum work day. Fur babies had me up 2 hours early this morning. I couldn't go back to sleep so I will see what I can get done before work without waking DH up. Hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed day.

Good Morning Everyone,

Well I went to the DRs yesterday and when I got in there the receptionist asked me if I had an appointment I said yes and she looked in the computer and said I was never put in then she told me my DR had emergency surgery he broke his hip so there was a covering DR I asked if I could see him at first she tried to give me another day and saw I was getting upset so she went to talk to the dr and he saw me and told me everything was coming along good but I still cant apply pressure for two more weeks but the good news is no more boot unless we are going out well it was really weird trying to sleep without that anchor on my leg but I slept a lot better.

Suzette I wish you all the best on this journey that you are about to start you are in my prayers.

Carol that's awful what they do I hope you are able to get something like you have prayers go out to you.

Lois - when I broke my leg the dr told me the same thing about wearing the boot in crowds. Listen to the dr on that one. I was at the mall sitting down and a child somehow managed to kick me right where the metal plate is. It was an accident but if I didn't have my boot on it would have really hurt.
Carole - I hope by now you are sleeping.
Mary - hope you find something to do
Lois - thanks so much for the thoughts. The offers will be there and gone before you know it.

Good morning Mary,

Hope your day goes by fast and you are home before you know it. I am finding out that Luke (devil dog) is not the only one that gets us up early. You must get Randy up on that. He is the dog trainer. Luke doesn't want to get up to go out, he only wants to eat breakfast.

Give my best to Randy. Miss you two.

Thanks Suzette, there was some laundry that needed to be folded and a few dishes to get washed up. Both are now done.

Lois, hopefully the noise won't be too bad. Maybe you can drown or block part of it out with some sewing. Happy to hear you can take the boot off to sleep now. Sorry to hear about your Dr. breaking his hip.

Carole, miss you guys too. Hopefully things will come together so we can come down for a visit one of these days. Time will tell.

Well there is time for one more cup of coffee...

Does anyone know how I can watch last nights NCIS-Los Angeles on my computer. Darn if I did not miss it and it did not tape. I think I heard that you could watch a episode on the computer if you missed your program .

I just got caught up on DWTS from the other day. I can't believe they sent home the couple that they did. It really was a surprise. I loved the dance that Snookie did. I still don't have a favorite tho.
