Tuesday, October 15th

Post by TeresaK » Mon Oct 14, 2013 8:22 pm

Good morning Pals
Tuesday???? I totally lost Sunday. Went to bed on Saturday night still coughing and no matter which way I tried to turn the nerves got hit from the back to the head and then down the leg. Woke up Sunday morning so drained that I skipped church and breakfast. Rob came home but then went to help a friend who only sees shadows get his computer up and running so he could download books the government library gives him for free with the help of his wife. When he left I fell asleep for 5 hours and then actually went to bed again at 10:30pm. Felt so much better when I woke up on Monday that I went on our Monday shopping trip. I also needed to find out where the courthouse is located. Seems I have jury duty supposedly on Thursday. PLEASE pray they do not call my name. I would love to serve but sitting in a chair for hours will wreek havic on all of me.
Today I am hoping to get going again on more Braids as I lost time on Sunday and Monday and I have quilting tonight.

Maryz - How are you quilting your Christmas Quilt? Could you please send me the link to Edyta's book that you have. Does it come in a pattern only? I would love to add this to my bucket list. I love verigated thread. https://scontent-a-sjc.xx.fbcdn.net/hph ... 2097_n.jpg[/url]

Tina - Added my prediction. Anticipation is a wonderful thing :)

Velda - when will you arrive in TX?

Prayers for all who are struggling with illness. You are never alone.
Prayers for all to find the little joys as you go about your day.

HUGE HUGS to all. I am off to bed :) :);

Good morning Teresa and those that follow.
Well, tomorrow FINALLY starts the drug study for my Breast Cancer. My biggest worry is not the surgery or the radiation. It is the results from the biopsy. I did get to talk to my friend yesterday. I used to babysit her kids when I was in high school. She and I were crafting buddies. She went and spent the late spring in Michigan. She will be back mid November. She and her husband will be moving up there in the spring. They have to come back paint the house, pack up the house. All that fun stuff. Today after work I plan on working on some breast cancer blocks so I can get them in the mail this week. Well, I better get going. Have a wonderful day.
Teresa - hope you are feeling better. As far as all your sleep, I always tell my husband that he obviously needed it. So, you needed it.

I Made Chocolate Chocolate Chip cookies. They are soft like a brownie...got the recipe from allcooks.com.
I went looking for something in my sewing room closet n& ended up reorganizing it. To day I'm going out I need Chicken & fish.

Good Morning, It was dark when I woke up this morning too. I thought it was too early to get up but iy was 7 am. LOL I did get up Ken was snoring so that is like an alarm clock only louder.

Today I take my bone med and will spend most of the day achey and not wanting to do much, I have a quilt on annebelle I will see how I feel might work on it...it is a dimentional pinwheel and does take a little more time to quilt. Tomorrow I will start the room by room fall cleaning,,,,Ken will move the furniture for me...my white woodwork needs a hot soapy rag,

Suzette where in michigan is your friend moving?,,,,you can visit her and me too LOL.

My Keurig coffee pot is not working well....We might be in the market for a new one,,,,(not in my budget) Oh well it gets used a lot. Ken is a BIG coffee drinker.

Hope you all have a great day it is 43 here and might need a fire in the fireplace....I think ken is having a contest with himself to see how long he can go without the boiler running..

Prayers and hugs,,,XXXOOO

Good morning.. this is a busy week.. we had soccer practice last night that should last an hour.. it lasted an hour and a half..and the only reason it didn't last longer is that it got dark...

Maryz.. I just signed grandma up for insurance through AARP, they kept me on the phone for about an hour signing up but she will pay less than she was paying.. Seafood??? did you have the tuna or the salmon?...lol

Sharona, hope you all made that push so you don't have to go back to the old house...

Cindy, is Gavin living with you or did he just move to a new town...?

Maryq... how long till there are baby clothes in your dryer? hope you have the best week ever..

Mel.. has DGS's mom's parental rights been terminated? sorry she is doing this to your family...I will keep you in my prayers...

Sharon, sorry Cooper has an ear ache.. those things are so painful.. Jerry's interview went well but we are waiting to hear when mine will be scheduled... it's a hurry up and wait process... can't believe your kids have aged so... seems like Lucie was just born...

Karlene.. hope you get to take that quilt class... here the classes are $30 and you have to purchase the pattern and use your own fabric.

I need to get moving, you all have a super day.. prayers to all of you...

Well, it is one of those mornings at work where you hurry up get things done and then wait. We are on the cool side this morning. Low 50s. But, it is supposed to warm up to low 70s. I just found out that one of the guys here at work, his daughter has lost both breasts to cancer and she is in her 30s. So you know what is going to happen now. Gotta get busy. She has developed an infection and may have to go back to the hospital. Well, better get back to work

grammie - my friend is moving to Hillsdale. The house is on a lake.
Kathy - the study runs 4 weeks.
Chrissy1 - thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. A person can never have too many
Lois - thank you also for the thoughts and prayers.

Good Morning to Everyone,

It was dark outside too when I woke up went ahead & got up as DD is dropping off some tops to see if I like them to wear on Thurs. they instructions to wear loose fitting clothes so we will see maybe I won't have to go take time to go shopping running out of time. I will also check see if she has any pink fabric that she will donate. I have some blocks of hearts on white but can't remember what size they are maybe if they are to small maybe some pink could be added will check this out.

I have a lot of errands to get done so will close for now.

Chickie.......WE will be coming down your way as soon as Dr. says I can travel will call you or txt let you know.

Have a great day everyone!

The wind has picked up & getting colder may have to turn on the heat...I am like Ken (grammiequilts) holding off as long as possible with the heat those electrical bills soar when it's cold.

Got to run for sure....

Good morning!

Teresa - sounds like you really needed the rest. I'll be praying of your jury duty and that you don't get called.

Suzette - glad you got to talk with your friend. Best of luck tomorrow on the start of the drug test - you are in my prayers daily. Hope your co-worker's daughter heals from the infection.

Lois - I sure hope you get some great news at the doctor's today. I had to laugh about you kicking it to the curb.

Chrissy1 - prayers being sent up for you and your family.

Kathy - of course I'm going to have to go look that recipe up. I know it felt good to get your sewing room reorganized. Enjoy your day.

Judi - oh my but you're a good sport to put off having that boiler lit. I remember our first night in the new house and waking up feeling like we were camping (you know, that frigid cold). We got our Keurig at Costco, got a lot of coffee to go with it. I hope you're not too achy today.

Chriss - how many more weeks of soccer? Maybe your interview will be on Halloween and you can wear a costume.

Pat - praying for your upcoming surgery. How sweet of your DD to drop some shirts off.

We worked our butts off at the old house. I was so sore I could barely walk. My arthritis is really being mean to me. Came home, started the fire and laid under a quilt on the couch for awhile. We're headed back up there shortly. Have a lovely day, ladies! xoxo Sharona
