Thursday, September 19th (Friday Eve)

Post by suzette58 » Wed Sep 18, 2013 11:19 pm

Good morning everyone.
Today is my last day of work for the week. Thank goodness. I am not used to working 3 days in a row. I am still plugging along with the binding. I am determined to get it done today or tomorrow at the latest. The furbabies keep asking me when their quilt is going to be done. I have to get my lunch packed for work so I better get going. Have a wonderful day.

Good Morning Ladies,

Lois and Suzette - you two always seem to be up and moving early. Of course, it is 2:30 am here in AZ. Just could not get to sleep tonight. Have been working on my SS gifts.

Just saw on TV that the lottery winner is from S.C. Hmmm wouldn't it be nice if DD was the winner. Oh my, that would be absolutely wonderful. Dream on huh? But it sure would make her life easier.

Devil dog got out again yesterday. But he did come back when he heard me calling him. I think he went out to the golf course. Wonder if any of those golfer did a double take to see a dobie running on the course. LOL DH again left the gate open. That is the 2nd time in as many weeks. Next time, DH and devil dog will find themselves living in the garage.lol

Judi-12 lbs. Congratulations. But that was a heck of a way to lose it. Poor you. Hope you are still taking it easy.

MaryZ - I love the name Scottie. I feel blessed that devil dog get up at 6 am every day. He is right on the nose. Wakes us up by shaking his ears and getting them flapping back and forth. Poor you and Bill getting up at 4:30. I remember those days.

I got a really nice birthday card for my birthday. Thank you whoever you are. Want to give me any hints????

Suzette - are you going to try to keep working during the treatment? You are in my prayers. Hang in there.

Well I am going to try to get some sleep. It is my day to get up with Luke this morning. DH and I take turns getting up at 6.

Keep on stitching,

Carole

Good morning Suzette and Lois. Continued prayers for both of you and for Judi. Wasn't able to pop in yesterday and still need to go back and read to see what all is happening. As for me...another day older and deeper in debt...DH finally got his ears checked and fitted for hearing aids. One more week and he will be able to hear again. Now to figure out how to get them paid off.

Maryz-How's Scottie taking to being "home"?

Chriss-How are you coming along with your classes since returning to work after vacation?

Traci-Beautiful DGD. Congratulations!

Vicky-One more day to hold out for baby to arrive on Traci's, Judi's, and my birthday. Then we can say...and baby makes four...LOL.

Cindyg-Have a good work day. Has the BOINGing started yet?

Sharona-How is the move going? Are you all packed? Is your current home sold or up for sale yet?

Tina-Have you made it in for PT yet?

I'm running out of time, but know I think of all of you and keep everyone in my prayers. Everyone be blessed today and walk with our Lord.

Good morning Carole, good to see you this morning, and sorry for walking on you. You posted while I typed. How's Jane doing?

No baby yet...still waiting. Tia seemed pretty tired and ready to get this over yesterday. We had a good visit, a pretty lazy day. I needed it!

I'm not sure what today will bring.

Keep looking up!
Vicky

Good Morning everyone! Yesterday was rainy all morning, so we decided to try fishig in the evening. It was so beautiful on the lake as the sun was setting. But the fishing was not so good. DH caught one really nice bass and missed another one.

I even picked up my small ultra light with a tiny jig on it and tried to see if I could catch a small crappie, blue gill, or white bass. Nope, couldn't get anyone interested.

Today, we are going on a little day trip with another couple here at the park. They go to Texas in the winter too, but stay in a condo. We do get together a few times in the winter. Today, they are taking us to a restaurant about an hour away. It's called "Moon Shine". It's suppose to be a really neat place. It's just open for lunch time, so we have to get there before 1PM. We are looking forward to this, as they have been telling us about this place all summer. Finally going to be a nice day today for the trip. I will tell you more about it later.

Nothing more to talk about. Hope you all have a great day.

Carole - I spoke with my boss about treatment. What I want to do is when I start radiation is hopefully have the treatments in the afternoon. So, if I have to I can leave work an hour or so early. After surgery the doctor said I could go back to work within a couple days. Just can't lift anything heavy on the right side.

Good Morning all...It is sunny and cool this morning,,,and as usual I am sleeping late. Sometimes I think if I wasn't such a sleepy head I would get more done,,,but I do love my warm bed and cool room....

Doing hexies. it is my rehab goal to get this done,,,,of course I sew during the hockey games and they have started preseason. I will see them for the first time tonight, as most of the preseason games are not televised. This one against Boston is.

Today I see the Dr for follow up.

Yesterday after a week of cabin fever we decided to go to a hardware store.......IN OHIO> about a 2 hour and some drive. I felt good and Ken and I had a marvelous time in Amish country, We didn't walk too much ( his knees and my gut) but stopped for lunch and just had a nice time the 2 of us, then we headed home....happened to be close to some friends,,,,called them up and decided to stop by for a visit, well Dan is an avid fisherman...he had a large catch of frsh lake perch so we ended up staying for supper....and had a great visit...home around 9 and tired but had a lot of fun. by the way the fish was awesome (sorry Maryz)

Well off to get coffee and see what the world is up to this morning, Hope you all have a great day and the baby will come tomorrow. Happy Birthday MaryRose tomorrow, Not sure but might see at least some of my grands and kids. Ken is building me a quilt cabinet similar to the one Suzette bought, to store and display folded quilts....It might not be done by tomorrow but I know it is coming.

prayers and hugs XXXOOO

Afternoon everyone.....hope you are all well, sending lots of love and prayers for health, safe and easy baby deliveries, puppies settling in, weather, jobs, family, friends and anything else that I haven't covered......I'm quiet as I'm not feeling well, my asthma is playing up which makes me tired, so I'm spending lots of time in bed and just being quiet and reading a book xxx
