Good morning to everyone. I have to work today so no church with sewing after for me. At least the patient count is where I can get my work done, too bad they all want to eat!

This is the day that The Lord hath made let us rejoice and be glad.

Good morning Debbie and those that follow.
I got my Secret Santa partner's name!! I have to look up her wish list. Yesterday I finally got my Quilts of Honor quilt top dropped off. We had to go a round about way to get there because of road construction but it was a pretty day for a ride. I have to say that I have never heard of the road being closed for line painting. Whatever. Today I am going to close myself up in my studio and get ALOT of work done on the pinwheel quilt. Have a great day.

Christmas is coming! I can tell when I get in my PM box the name of my SS partner. Looking forward to this special time of year. But not looking forward to the weather.

I feel so relieved the peaches are done. I have those leaf blocks in my sewing room waiting for me and I have diapers yet to make. Always busy. busy :-) It is a good thing.

I was wondering if any one has the Dear Hannah book with patterns...it's out of print and I only want the one pattern (Tree of Life) If anyone has a 6 inch Tree of Life pattern that you are willing to share please let me know.

Today church is at Tia and JR's house they switched to have it this week because their week was too close to her delivery date. She's due on the 20th, so soon!

I hope you all have a blessed day,
Vicky

I will lift up my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.

Good morning, it is bright and sunny again, Hoing next week is like this for my vacation.
Today we have our Family dinner. We take time out as often in the year as we can to have dinner and reconnect. 2 of my sons cannot be with us, onelives too far away and the other is working out oif town. He will be home next weekend but we will be gone so I told him he needs to wrap up this job and visit his mom. (He does call). His wife and kids might come (might) I need to get in the kitchen and make the coleslaw and the potato salad. Ken has decided to go on a Wheat free diet. not gluten, wheat. So far he is doing well but I won't be baking bread for a while. at least til october when he sees the Dr again, ken reads a lot of stuff and this is another article he read to go off wheat for a while and see how well your joints and blood sugar do. it helps with weight losss. I will still eat wheat and not change anything right now as too much is going on with me.

Thank you for all the nice commpliments on the Scarecrow. the pattern is called. "Hangin with the boys" by Bloomin' Minds. Web site is www.bloominminds.com.

Well coffee is needed, kitty food is demanded, chores are waiting.

Vicky I am looking up, I liked the verse you closed with, I know I must trust God to take care of me. Hope you all have a great day....By the way Tia is due on my Birthday, XXXOOO

I just realized I must be really ill. I went to a quilt shop yesterday and didn't buy anything! I didn't even look. I wonder what the cure is?

Good Morning.

Well we are getting ready to go to the
car show. I have to pack a cooler and
maybe some hand work. I have to clip all of
the threads from my quilt top and then press it
tomorrow and get it ready for the post office.

The weather is just beautiful today. It was
a little chilly last night.

Have a wonderful day all

Good Morning!

DEB - sorry you have to work on a Sunday. When I was working, it was every other weekend. And holidays always had to be staffed, too. But somehow we always worked it out.

SUZ - happy sewing! We have construction on our road, too. It's only 1 mile long, with an intersection at each end. But one end has been closed now for 3 weeks and it looks like they are working their way down our direction. There used to be a big farm at the end of our road. But they razed the buildings and the orchard and are now putting in 34 luxury homes. There goes the neighborhood. Sigh.

LOIS - enjoy your family today! I bet your DGD loves wearing something her sweet DGM made!

VICKY - that's a lot of peaches! Enough to have a quart every day of the winter and save some for my spring birthday! Wow! Only 26 days to go.

JUDI - I love your family dinner tradition of 'as often as possible'! I can't even get mine together for Christmas Eve!

MARY - Thank you for doing the Secret Santss again this year! But oh dear! No SS for you?? You MUST do your tweaking! We need you!

DELORES - do you have a car to exhibit? My BIL shows his restored '58 Chev. He belongs to a group called "The Colorodans".

I'm gaining on the weeds! Another week and we'll be lookin' good here! Plus, I lost the 3# I gained on our Montana trip!

DH and I were watching Cedar Cove last night and saw an ad for a sweepstakes the show is sponsoring. We started laughing saying it would be our luck to win the grand prize and it would be a trip to Port Orchard, WA. And yep! that's the prize! I wonder what it would cost to send us 15 minutes up the highway! lol!!

Remember I asked you all for prayers for my DD who is trying to get pregnant? Well, "we're" not there yet, but she started taking a drug and now she is producing good eggs. I have grand-eggs!! DGEs!! So her doctor is hopeful that she will soon be pregnant. and he says twins are a distinct possibility between the drug and twins being on both sides of the family. So keep please keep praying. And if you slip the word "PINK" in there, it would be OK with me! Thanks!!

Have a sew-rrific Sunday!
