Off Topic: Need help finding the Maple Leaf Pattern

Post by TeresaK » Fri Aug 23, 2013 1:48 pm

OK I have gone crazy today - I KNOW, I KNOW, I KNOW Eleanor has made the Maple Leaf Pattern. I just can't find it anywhere :( :( :(

Can someone lead me in the right direction please so I don't loose my mind or at least the rest of it - LOL!!!

Thanks

Teresa, Was that the one that they made into a turkey at thanksgiving on a table runner? I tried doing a search for maple leaf and no luck either. Is it called something else? Good luck hunting for leaves. It is almost fall and one leaf might drop in on you anytime. LOL

Hi again, I took my own advice and put Autumn leaves in search and it popped up. Try again. And have fun. Are you making leaves these days?

Another hug and prayers that you don't lose your mind over all this. Shirley Mae

In It's "El"ementry on page 68 there is the directions for Fall Leaves Wall hanging. It is for a 12 inch block only.
Hope this helps.

YES - Thank you. I knew of the Quilter's Cache one but not of the ELementary book :) :)

I still seem to feel she has a video of making the block.

Thank you sew much again!!!

Shirley Mae, Wow, I did what you suggested and search Autumn Leaves.
There was her pattern and I was so surprised to find the video at the bottom of the page. I never knew she did that.

That is so neat that she made a turkey or a maple leaf. I added it to my wish list. Might just have to order that some day.

Thanks for sharing, Thank you Teresa for getting us interested to look around. It is time to be thinking of fall leaves anyway. LOL

Hi Velda and Teresa, I must admit, I found the pattern but never scrolled on down to see the remarkable video at the bottom of the Autumn Leaves pattern page. Thanks Velda for telling me and others about that video.

I have watched it twice now. Love the way they did the whole block in about 5 min but she explained everything so perfectly. But doesn't El always do that. Make it simple so we can ALL enjoy making it outselves. Thank you El. And thanks Teresa for bringing up the ?????? of this pattern. It is a very pretty leaf pattern and turkey too.

Turkey day is just around the corner too. What are you up to now?

Hugs, Happy quilting to both of you. Shirley Mae
