Good morning Lois and all who follow.

Lois, I too will be on my way to work today. After work I need to put in a couple more applications for a second job. I don't know if I will make it to the sewing room or not. Will have to wait and see.

Suz, prayers continue for you and your DH at this time.

Chriss, may God surround you, Jerry, and Marilyn as you continue through this adoption process.

Kathy, it is good that your DD is getting better, but continued prayers for the complete healing and recovery.

Blessings to each of you as you go throughout your day today.

Mary/Rosebud

Good morning Mary, Lois and those that follow.
Well, we came home yesterday afternoon. Still don't know what happened yet. They did the MRI, all kinds of blood work and urine tests. Numerous questions like the date, year, president. The seem silly to us but they are important. They were able to use the results from the MRI even tho it was stopped a minute and half short. We have to schedule a brain wave study to see if anything shows up. My son and his girlfriend went and picked up my quilt for me. Someone asked if I won any money. Yes I did. One dollar. He didn't want to wait the 15 minutes to get it so he donated it to a charity. I asked him which one. He didn't know. I have to do a lot of uglies today. Mount Washmore, grocery shopping. Would love to get out to my studio but who knows if that will happen. I want to thank all of you for all the wishes and comments, prayers that you all have sent our way. Most of us may never meet face to face but we are a close knit group. Thanks so much.

Suzette

I have a crazy busy day, more then the usual. The state comes in for a re-cert today for my MIL. I will spend most of the day there.

Last night when I got home from church I made a red and green tree. I was afraid it would look too Christmasy but it doesn't at all :-) I laid out a brown and yellow....four or five more to go after that. I have one in there I really am not liking.(the blue and yellow one) So I have to decide if I take it out or leave it in. I'm having a hard time coming up with color mixes now.

I'm looking forward to the Sylvia's Bridal Sampler starting. I really don't work with brights much and I would like to do something very "different"

Well, I have to finish my qt. of water and get my day started.

Good morning...

Suzette, my goodness, I was scanning over the posts I missed over the weekend.. my prayers are certainly with you and DH...hope all gets figured out...if you don't already have it it might be a good idea to get a medical power of atty for each other... that way you can make medical decisions if need be.

MaryRose, thank you so much for your kind words.... I know God has this all figured out, and many times I have tried to give him my time line, but he's not budging.. and with each step I can see why... as soon as I get frustrated that it's not moving fast enough something happens to show me why.. hope all is going well with you too, how are things going? you are in my prayers.

Vicky, hope the re-cert goes well.

after work we have the adoption people coming out to update us...we just want this process to finally be over... I can see why people go out of the country to adopt, we are at 2 years and 2 months of craziness... we are 50+ year old grandparents not 25 year old first time parents... and Mar has lived here that whole time and not done anything but excel in her schooling, behaviour and socialization... but we need to be quizzed on our past as though it effects us now....sometimes I feel like I am surrounded by stupid people. But God has it all figured out...

seems like it may rain here... we haven't had dry heat this weekend and likely won't have it today..

hope you all have a super duper day...
Chriss

Good morning!

Lois - hope your work day flies by.

Mary/Rose - good luck with your job search.

Suzette - prayers continue for you and your DH. Sounds like he's doing better..?

Vicky - I hope you're hit with inspiration on what color combos to make for the quilt. Good luck with the re-cert today.

Chriss - prayers for your visitors today. Oh my. We should have a huge party when the adoption is official.

Today we go look at the house I want again and another one DH likes. Then we will make our decision as to whether we move or not. Unsettling times for us. Have a great day! xoxo Sharona

Lois - I ditto what you are doing today. Working. And afterwards I hope to sew.

MaryRosebud - good luck finding your second job. I was noticing that WalMart doesn't even have a 'greeter' anymore. I kinda miss that. Anyway, I guess that WalMart is just like everyone else - trying to cut back.

Suz - I'm so glad you and your DH are home and that he is doing better. Wish we knew what the problem is. I hope you do get to go out to your studio - I think you deserve a little "me" time.

Vicky - can your trees be the same colorway? Like the blue - can it be dark blue and light blue and then the yellow can be yellow and gold? Sorry you have to spend the whole day doing the MIL thing.

Chriss - I'm sure you are getting really sick of this adoption process. I hope this is the end of it.

I'm at work and everybody needs a piece of me so I have to go.

May we all get to fondle fabric today.

Suzette What a relief that you are home....Hope hubby is feeling better. Hope you have answers soon,. I know from experience it is no fun to be in the hjospital and not know....They still do not know all the details of my hospital visit, Drs just say I am fine,,,now.

Mary rose don't work too hard and Lois you either,

Chris I continue to pray for you and Marilyn and Jerry, I am sure it will all work out. How could they find any reason for you not to have Marilyn you and Jerry are a blessing in her life...I remember what she came from,.,I still worry about the other. Hope they are doing ok.

Vicky hope you find some time to relax maybe a short nap too...We can only hope for those things. Isn't Tia due to have her second baby soon?

Well I need to get my 30 minute walk in and have BOM class today. Ken has started on the basement and he found a little mold and some very bad wiring behind a wall. It is always something,,,,So now another project and a pile of money to be spent. I will get my LA room done now for sure...I have asked for bead board so we shall see what the budjet can afford....we need new tile on the floor too...SOoooo since we have to replace it anyway....I thought maybe q quilt pattern floor Will keep you posted.

I finished all the applique on Sophia's quilt now to Annebelle for the finish ,,,,I am thinking prarie points for the finish...I bought a prarie point ruler, at a quilt show last year and haven't tried it...so I need to go and watch the videos again.

Everyone else have a super day XXXOOO

A quick good morning to All! I'm going to hope to get to sew today. I'm still in the process of sewing the pinwheel top and getting the rows where they belong. Yesterday I was interrupted by laundry, fishing, cooking, and more... there's always something going on here!

Everyone, have a great day! Let the thread times roll!!!

Good Morning....

It's a beautiful sunny day. I miss you all & my usual routine. I've no idea when I'll be going home. We're going to make a appointment with a wound care specialist. These things are deep & she is in so much pain. Thank you all so much for all your prayers & thoughts.

I have been getting in a little hand quilting on my table topper.

Suzette....I'm glad the your DH went back to the hospital and got some test run. I'm praying for you both.

Love & Prayers......Kathy
