Thanks so much to everyone for your prayers. Court went very well. I was given permanent custody of Cooper and Lucy.them. It was a long day but in the end it was good. Child Protective Services will be in the picture for the next 30 days and then they will close the case.
I now know where I stand as far as wondering if they are going to be returned and am I doing everything that the court wanted. It's a relief to have it over.
In order for them to be returned my dd would have to petition the court and they would have to find her fit, which probably would never happen.
I appreciate everyone's prayers more than I could ever express. It made me feel good to know of the love and kindness on the forum.
I can't begin to tell everyone how much at ease I felt today, I know that it was prayers being said that did that.

So happy to hear this news! I hope you will now be more at ease. Cooper and Lucy have a loving, caring Grandmother. Prayers will continue for all of you!

This is great, I'm sure also it is bittersweet. You have the ease to know you have them but also your dd is deemed unfit to raise her children. Hugs to your grandchildren that are in a loving and safe place now.
