Good morning everyone.
One of our fubabies needed to go out this morning and it was close enough to time for me to get up. So I stayed up. Yesterday I got started sewing on the pinwheel quilt. I got a lot done. I have to work today so I can be off tomorrow. Before I drop off my quilt tomorrow I am going to meet my friend for lunch. She and I have not seen each other in a few months. Have a great day. I will check back later.

Today is Tia and Jovanna day

Shannon is coming down too I think, that will be nice.
I did work on Trunks yesterday but did not get as many done as I hoped.
I almost made a block for the Sylvia's Bridal Sampler just to see how the brights and black will go together, but I decided to just wait. We will see if I can hold off until the first!
I printed off a huge eagle holding a Harley Davidson sign.... Still thinking.
Have a great day!
Look to the hills!

Hello and goodmorning to all!
We are off to the lake again this morning. Hope we do as well today as yesterday. We are expecting another cloudy morning, so fishing is usually better on a cloudy day. yippee!!
Must drink my coffee and get ready to go. See you all later with my fishing report.
Hugs
Velda

Good morning,,,I have no window in my bathroom and while I was getting dressed this morning it got very dark...I came out to see black clouds and very humid. Weather said storms so here we go it seems to be moving very quickly, Hope the ferral family takes cover. My friend who volunteers with a ferrral rescue is working on getting the traps to catch them. Momma was there last night, my grand daughter wants to come and see them LOL she already has 2 dogs a cat and a baby dragon, and 2 ducks, to care for. her momm would not be amused,
I am off to the Dr today I seem to have lost 8 lbs so he should be pleased, Hope all my other tests came out ok. the scale at my dr office al;ways seems to read a little high.
I have 3 corners left on the DP quilt one whole corner of leaves and flowers sewn down, it is slow work but I think it will turn out ok. DD came and looked at it and she is pleased. I am going to do a foundation paper pieced border on the middle kids quilt,,,it will be cars and trucks going around the border,,,,I make this stuff up as I go so who knows how that will be.
Welll I need coffee and this storm is looming,,,,so have a great day and take care of yourselves....XXXOOO
Sharona sorry I walked on you....Hugs

Good Morning Girls
Oh what a beautiful day! Tornado sirens went off last night and the wind blew like crazy, but today is wonderful. Too bad I have to go back to work!
Had a wonderful day off yesterday.... stayed home all day... did a couple uglies, steam cleaned the seats of my car, finished laundry and ironing and I THINK I might have finished my Christmas Blocks... just have to double check my list. I even COOKED supper! Only 3 more days of work and I'll have a whole weekend off! YIPPEE
Kathy...many prayers for your daughter! Sometimes a girl just needs her Mommy and it's so great that you can be there for her.
Velda...good luck fishing today? Do you eat what you catch?
Lois... Enjoy your day off... will there be time for sewing today?
Sharona.... did you get any of the storm that blew through the Denver area the other night? My BFF has huge hail damage and a tree blew over in their yard!
Judi.... I think the Dr's scale are always High! But then I subtract a pound or two for clothes!
Oh Gosh, better run time to hit the shower
Have a great day everybody

Suz - have an easy day at work today. Tomorrow will be a great day for you.
Lois - sounds like you are working on your day off. Shopping and errands.
MaryRosebud - have a great Wednesday. Reminds me of that commercial with the camel going thru that office asking if anybody knows what day it is (hump day). LOL Cracks me up every time I see it.
Vicky - it's so good to see you quilting again. The trees are so great and that black and brights quilt will be stunning. And I see you are still thinking on that Harley quilt. I have a problem, too. My DD wants me to make her boyfriend a quilt with duck hunting and salt water fishing fabrics. For crying out loud!!!!
Velda - good luck with the fishing. We are going to the lake this weekend but I don't think we are even going to get the boat out of storage - gonna be too hot. Besides DH needs to replace the bathroom sink faucet. They put such a little one in that we can't even get our hands under the spout to wash them or brush our teeth. It's cheesy.
Kathy - oh, girl, I know this is a trying, scary time for you. Prayers sent up for all concerned. Keep up posted.
Sharona - have fun picking out your Christmas fabric. What could be more fun?
Guild last night was interesting.....maybe. The speaker showed us how to make portrait quilts but the bad thing is that she makes her patterns using the computer. That's just wonderful if you are computer literate.....but I'm not. Heck, I need help getting pictures from my phone or camera into the computer. Tonight is my one free night so I plan on working on my floral log cabin quilts. Last weekend I bought a Christmas panel and I need to think about how I'm going to make it into a quilt large enough to cover up with. Right now I need to get busy with the mail and then get a payroll done.
I hope we can all fondle fabric today.
