Good morning Izzy. I like that song. I need to get my shower and get ready for church as well.
Right now I need to find someone at McAfee that understands English. They are charging me every 4 months for service that is suppose to be good for a year. When I call them they always say it has been a year and it is time to renew again. It was just renewed on April 15, 2013. Do any of you have this problem? How did you get it resolved?
I'm moving along on piecing my quilt top. I did need to add enough sections to make 6 rows across, and that addition is almost finished.
Everyone have a blessed day whether going to church, work, vacationing, or staying home. Prayers for all.

Mary/Rose. I would request that they remove your credit card and that you will no longer authorize any charges to your card....only renew if a written invoice is sent to you. I had to do this with Sirius Radio too. I cancelled Mcafee and went with Kapersky,,,

Good morning.. it's the last day of my vacation..I haven't taken a full week in so long, it was fun.
O'Dorothy, how are you going to re-do your sewing room? are you going to paint? will there be a before and after picture.
Jana.. what color are you painting? I would love to see the rag dolls.. what a great use of time when you're away from tv, computers and social life...
Izzy, your owls are great...
Judi, I had a fun grandma like you.. it makes for great memories all these years later.. they are blessed to be in your family.
MaryRose, I have no clue about McAfe, we use Norton.. but I have run into stupid people when calling customer service..if you are paying by credit card you can dispute the charges and they have (I think) 30 days to explain why they are charging you based on the report you give... maybe that will help?
Jerry will be going to the dump today... Mar and I will go to church then home depot to get a shelving unit of some kind for her room.. she needs a place for books and dvd's...then I will attach the boa to her tv and with the exception of the yellow border between the ceiling and wall and some touch up's she will have a finished room....
then it's my turn... I think I found my green, it was in the place we stayed on vacation... it's called Potpourri green by Benjamin Moore... but I want it in Behr paint from home depot, so I will go get a sample from Benjamin Moore and try to match it to a sample from Home depot...
we are pretty sold on wood laminate throughout the house...Jerry is pretty disgusted by the filth in the carpet he's pulled up... and they've been cleaned...
I need to move my buns, you all have a super day,
Chriss

Good morning,
IZZY - What an honor to sing for the Lord in His house today!
CHRISS - we missed you! i hope you feel all refreshed for your time off. I hope we get to see pictures of Marilyn's room! And as for your room, the hard part is now over - you found your color. It took us 3 yrs to figure out what color to paint our bathroom!
JUDI - I always loved having the grands when they were little. But oh, how they exhausted us! Sometimes one of us (read POP!) had to sneak off for a little nap!
MARY/ROSE - I believe you have the right to keep requesting a person you can understand when dealing with companies on the phone. DH just went through this with American Express. Though JUDI's suggestion is even better.
DH's retiree BBQ yesterday was fun. It always is. But 5 hours was more than enough. I was wiped out by the time we got home. Today, I'm working on a Disappearing 9-patch for a throw-sized quilt to give as a Sept 14th wedding gift. Creams and pastels and florals. Didn't even know there was a wedding in the offing until 2 days ago. I started it yesterday morning and hope to get the top finished today. I love that D9P for a quick and easy pattern!
TTFN!

Good Morning Girls
Happy Sunday to you all!
Worked yesterday, home today, work tomorrow, off on Tuesday. then 6 days in a row before another day off! I'm tired already.
Today it's UGLY day...man the gremlins have sure been busy while I've been at work. One of these days I'm going to catch them at it and make them clean up their messes! Need to mow the lawn today, then head inside to do laundry and SEW! Last Night I did manage to get 2 more DP's put together and have 4 ready to stitch down.
MaryR.... so frustrating to try to get help from folks who can't speak English! Makes you wonder why they put people who can't speak English very well in Customer Service positions! Except that a lot of CS calls goes to India or some other odd place. For sure I'd call your Credit Card company! Hope you get it resolved soon!
Chriss..Oh Home Depot... Take me with you! I LOVE Home Depot! So much cool stuff there! Boy that week vacation went fast. I was just thinking this morning about putting in for a week in October--It will be an UGLY week for me too--painting and cleaning! But I'm looking forward to it! No matter how much you clean carpets, there's always so much stuff underneath... I hate to think what's under mine!
Judi... Have a wonderful time with those grand kids!
Maryz... My goodness you are fast! But a D9P is a good pattern when you need a quilt in a hurry.
Izzy... how wonderful that you can sing! I love to sing, but do it so very badly. God did not give me that talent. My kids begged me to NOT sing to them when they were little. I told them that in my next life I was going to be able to sing and they said "then please wait until then to do it"
I know today will go by really fast, Sunday's always do, so I better get butt in gear and get some of the uglies done. Still have stuff I brought home from the cabin a few weeks ago to put away. Am anxious to get in my sewing room so better going start the chores so I can play later!
Wishing you all a very Blessed Day
Mary

Re: Sunday July 28
Good morning! Yesterday was my ânormalâ Saturday, then after putting groceries away, I started working in my Garden of Weedinâ. Mom was doing well and happy to see Odie and me. We had dinner at DGSâs where all the guys had been roofing the house for them (the single-wide we lived in). They have done so much to it, that itâs almost unrecognizableâall the things I had wanted to do if we would have not built this home. They thanked me for my good ideas.
Today will be laundry, but it has been lightly raining and looks like more, so this will be a dryer day. It was also the perfect morning to sleep in a bit!
Izzyâgood morning to you! Your song will be beautiful!
Mary/RosebudâThat scares me! Iâve not had any problems with McAfee⊠I hope you get it resolvedâmaybe by refusing the charges on your credit card and getting a new service for your computer when McAfee cuts you off. You could write to the president of the company and include documentation of all the charges (copies of what they sent you for the charges, and copies of your credit card billing with the charges highlighted). Sounds like there is a glitch in their billing system! You should now have paid up for a lifetime of service!
Judiâgood advice! Have fun with the grands! I still enjoy fun spoiling them time and then sending them home.
Chrissâthatâs why I didnât want carpet in this house! I know what gets ground in it. I want to take it out of all the rentals, too, as we have to re-do them. Have fun today! Welcome back!
MaryZâFive hours is definitely long enough! Sounds like your quilt top will be finished in no time. Howâs the line in the quilting room?
MaryQâI have never understood how when weâre out working and not at home those gremlins can make such a mess! I had to blame it on my kitties having parties while I was at the officeâŠ
Time for me to get busyâwill check in later! Have a blessed day!!!

Good morning!
MaryR - that is why we got rid of McAfee and went with Norton - better virus protection too! Call your credit card company and request that the charge be stopped and then notify the credit card company in writing - I would look and see if you can find the corporate e-mail address and fire off a polite, but nasty e-mail to the president. That is how we get action sometimes around here!
Well I am down in the sewing room - Sarah brought over all her fabrics for the new wall hanging - I will get cracking on that after Church this morning. She has another wall hanging that she is unhappy with one of the borders - but we don't have enough fabric to replace it - but we were lucky enough to have the name and designer of the line - so googled it and found it! Several different pieces of the line as well - so I ordered them for her yesterday - should be here this week. She has made a matching set of Christmas stockings, tree skirt, that wall hanging and the ones that I am making to decorate her house with. She is getting as bad as me about Christmas decorating! LOL
Matt and the boys that we hire came over yesterday and moved a lot of the dirt against the house - around the basement window wells, so that we can put good topsoil there for the lawn. The boys lowered the dirt level there about 6 inches and dumped it over by the great wall - we will still need about 30 yards of topsoil to level the rest out. The company that we buy the dirt from will deliver it to the backyard - via a little bobcat tractor.
Matt also washed the windows in the sewing area - one gets sprayed with the lawn sprinklers and we have such hard water that it gets cloudy very fast - straight CLR on it is all that will take off the residue!
The painting is done down here too - it is called Peach Tickle - a bright lemon yellow from Lowe's paint line - Valspar. Now we just need to get the storage doors hung and painted white and the door moulding on the basement door - painted white too. All the trim down here is bright white. Area rugs are next on my list - just need to find one that I like - I am picky! LOL
Well my book is done for today -
Have a great day!
Hugs
Jana

Re: Sunday July 28
Good morning everyone,
I have been busy for the last 2 days. We went to El Paso and delivered the quilt. The lady ordered 2 more for fall and 2 pillow cases. Everything has to be done by end of September.
Then we went to a area where they build new houses and picked a lot. We have to go back Wednesday to sign the contract and then they start building on Sep 7 . We will move right after Christmas.
Does somebody know a good website where I can download appliqué pattern for fall. I don''''t have to many. Thanks
Everybody has a great Sunday
Gabriele
