Good morning everyone.
I didn't make it out to my studio at all. I was so very tired. But, today is my last day to work this week!! I plan on spending most of my time off out there. Except for this coming Saturday when we go to the lake with hubby's family. I have a few more blocks to sew together and then I can start putting the top together on my Quilts of Honor quilt. Im off today and have to go for my MAMO and bone density I like to get them done and over with afterwards I will come back and do some MT washmore and some uglies.

Happy Fourth of July Eve Eve - otherwise known as my DGS's 16th birthday.

SUZ - I found it just doesn't pay to sew when you are too tired, too depressed, too excited, too sad, or too distracted. Then you do too much un-sewing later! Better that you stayed out of your sewing room yesterday. But hope you get a good run at that quilt in the next few days!

LOIS - I always make all my appts for as early as possible so they don't cut up my day.

VICKY - thanks for doing the self-portrait challenge. It made me step out of my comfort zone and I had a really good time with it. I hope everyone did.

This morning is my massage appointment. Which is the one appt I'd prefer to have late in the day, but he's usually so booked in advance that I take what I can get. Yesterday I spent 4 hours cleaning my sewing room. Wow! How did THAT mess happen??

Good morning.. just a run through for me today.. I am going thrift store shopping with my aunt....she was always the fun aunt when we were growing up.. she could draw anything and loved taking us kids to the movies...

she has a heart of gold, but she talks non stop.. she is fun and we will laugh like crazy but she won't hardly let me get a word in...

while we are shopping I will stop at the post office..

Chriss.... hope you have a great time thrift shopping with your Auntie! and that you manage to get a word or two in.

Maryz.... AH the Minnesota sewing room gremlins have traveled to Washington I see. The mess in a sewing a room is a good thing tho.. it means you've been busy and enjoying all the endorphins that come from sewing!

Sharon.... Costco for lunch?.. my goodness you're going to spoil that man for his birthday!

Velda.... love your new home! Looks so warm and cozy!

Good Morning. Slept till 9am this mrning,,,,I just couldn't get up windows were opened and cool DRY air was coming in...it did rain last night but the driveway is semi dry today. cloudy ut there too but temps in the 60s. feels fresh and good. Mosquitos are so bad I can only enjoy it from the windows.

I am anxious to go look in photos to see what you all have been up to. Will get a few uglies done and sew some more later...today I need to run a couple of errands too.

Good morning!

I wish that I could say that I was cool - but nope - we are still hovering around 104! No rain in sight either.

It is now legal to shoot off fireworks for the next 7 days - so I am on high alert watching for anything coming near here - we are tinder dry and will go up quickly. DH has the hoses placed for easy access to water. He is good!

Not much else going on here - sewing and the uglies can wait - the sewing room monster has arrived here too - made such a mess! That little gremlin sure knows how to make messes! LOL

I've been thinking of the NEXT challenge!!! I think I've got a GREAT idea...
One a year is enough so I'll sit on this until January
I also think it will be easier so more people will join in the fun.
