Good Saturday morning to everyone, except Maryq...and to Maryq, good workday without phones!
Welcome home, Judi!
Con-gram-ulations, Teresa!
Happy Anniversaries to Suzette (this weekend, as I recall) and Sharona (coming up on #25, if I remember correctly).
Good luck bidding on the tent camper, Chriss. It looks pretty cozy and comfy to me. The five of us once spent a whole night in our old VW bus during a flash flood downpour in Yosemite. Nowadays I only camp in the comfort of our little (doublewide) cabin in the Southern Sierras. All the comforts and conveniences of home inside, but it looks and smells just like camping outside!
I know there are more of you I should be sending personal greetings to, but please accept my apologies. My little setback on Tuesday turned out to be a bigger setback than I realized. This darned ol' rib is back to hurting as bad as it did the first week after I broke it! (Maryz, I tripped over a small box of car parts in a sleepy daze and crashed into my DH's bony knee. And since you were a nurse, it's a buckle fracture on left rib #7.)
So, I'm STILL sleeping in my recliner and missing my bed. But it's time to close my eyes and try to get some sleep. The pain (and prescription!) has made me sleep so much the last couple of days I'm all turned around now and wide awake in the middle of the night!
So, good night, all
Jodie

Good morning Lois, Jodie and those that follow.
Well, yesterday I took hubby to get a massage for his arthritis and he feels some better. I hope he continues to go for the relief it can give him. I had to do all my chores yesterday but managed to get a little sewing in. Today we are going to a graduation party for one of my cousins. He graduated high school earlier this month but he plays baseball and they made it to the state finals and they were not sure when to have the party. So, anyway. I have to look up quilt shops that may be along the way. Have a great day.

DH is in MN fishing. I am on my own little vacation. Yesterday we had severe storms roll through so I didn't sew until late last night. Today I get to unsew what I sewed. Not sure how I messed it up, but I did. Oh well.
Also waiting to hear from Dori as the funeral arrangements for her Mom.
That's my plans for the day. Have a great one everyone.
Sandy, listening to another thunder storm and powering off.

Good Morning, It is sure good to be back. I still feel crappy but hope a few days will help. I am not sure me and these pills agree so I will be joining the "Go to the Dr" crowd. I never go. and now I have to. Cardiac cath came out good. no need for stents or anything,,he said my arteries were clear. the heart attack was very very mild. (HMMMM then wonder why I don't have my super powers back yet) but my leg where they poked me is sore today. Ken is an angel and should be nominated for some kind of award. He brought me coffee this morning and took my blood pressure...He is a great nurse but I need to resume taking care of him.
Again thank you for you concerns and prayers. I am sure they brought me though this with flying colors.
Jodie feel better soon. Hope Charley's cold is better soon, but with Mum tending to her, how could she be otherwise?
Suzette was thinking about Wyatt this morning is he doing ok?
Lois and Sandy have a great day you both are busy bees.
Everyone else who follows,,,,have awonderful day and enjoy your blessings,,,XXXOOO

Good Morning Everyone!
Happy Anniv. to Suzette and Sharona.....May it be a wonderful day with lots of memories! Best Wisshes to you both!
I just came in from watering the tomatoes we actually ate our first tomato the other day A Yummy it was so good!!!! Nothing beats home grown tomatoes! Will be taking the furrbabies to the groomers here shortly and then I will go to my daughters an sew for awhile, two of the Great Granddaughters will be there so that will be a special treat! By the time the dogs are done I'll be ready to come home before it gets to hot! My energy level is not so good these hot days!
I have been doing more cooking at home since I started this Weight Watchers plan....it seems to be working out good if I can keep it up I'll might be up to buying some clothes for winter. hope so! any one else out there on the Point Plus with WW?
Jodi I do hope your rib gets to feeling better seems like it takes forever with those things. Take care. That is the way I like to go camping too, last year we rented a cabin on the lake at Branson, MO. for a week and it was cool I am getting to old to try sleeping in a tent or even in a small trailer.
Got to run have a great day everyone!

Good Morning Girls
Just a quick run through this morning as I am getting ready for work. Just wanted to check up on Judi!
JUDI.... SO glad to hear that you are home! Will keep you in prayers that you get your "groove" back soon. Glad Ken is taking such good care of you, it is hard to be on the receiving end sometimes, but I hope you will be a good patient and mind your care givers!
No time to chat, but wanted to stop by and say hello and wish you all a most wonderful Saturday. I'm a kind of...underline "kind of" looking forward to working in peace and quiet today with no phones!

Good Morning!
JODIE - that sounds painful! A prayer that you start to heal soon. RV-ers put foam pool noodles on sharp points of their RV exteriors to soften the blow when they bump into them. Maybe you should put some on your DH!
LOIS -what will you be doing during the man-cation? Just who's vacation is it, really? lol!!
SUZ - congrats to your graduate! Where is the party that you can hit quilt shops along the way? Sounds fun! Happy anniversary!
JULES - I hope Charley feels better soon and that you don't catch it!! You don't want to be sick while your DH is gone!
SANDY - I can never sew at night. I can't stay awake that late, but I've found anything I sew after 5pm usually needs the attention of Jack (the ripper) next day!
WHOO HOO!! JUDI is back!! JUDI is back! We missed you, girl! You just let Ken take care of you for a while. Hugs!!
PAT - I love homegrown tomatoes. But they just never grow for me. I'm a bad, bad tomato mom.
SHARONA - Happy Silver Anniversary to you and your DH! How's he feeling these days?
Today is the last full day of our RV Rally. The Factory, Northwood Mfg, caters a big BBQ and then gives out prizes - one to each rig. It's always fun! Tomorrow, after a potluck breakfast, we head for home. Thank goodness we woke up to blue skies this morning, finally! 43*, but no rain! Though rainy days left me sewing in the community building and I finished my Christmas Swap blocks! Yay!
May your day be sew great!

Re: Saturday, June 22
boy did I sleep in.. good morning girls...
Maryq.. I haven't started the calendar swap.. it's just in the thinking stage right now... we will look at this tent trailer today, but still need to bid on e-bay....I love churn dash.. can you show a picture of the WOW you need?
Cindyg.. what did DH cook? not sure we will need an AC... but am wondering if there is any electricity... I find it odd that the potty/shower is across from the stove...and my dad said not to pay a fortune, others will come along as people trade up.. good advice.
Chickie.. the 12 calendar blocks would be 12 inches.. so when you don't join what month don't you want...lol... I havent even started it yet...maybe I will post it after the 4th... Marilyn really wants to go to Kansas.. we have to wait to take her across state lines.. she's not adopted yet.. guess the FBI are having to work over time to trace our backgrounds...lol
Jana.. Yosemite has a lot of tent camping so a tent trailer should be ok.. and the two places we would go have tents too..Yellowstone has grizzly bears, they aren't as nice as black bears...lol...this trailer looks like the floor may need re-doing, but we may have leftovers from doing the bathroom, I think a wood laminate floor would be nice.. cant wait to see how your trek goes.. it really sounds like fun.
Vicky.. an eventful day.. I suggest a lid for the can and maybe some playground sand.. it reminds me of the apartments in town where someone emptied their fireplace ashes into a card board box and put them on their back porch... there were smoldering coals in the ashes and it caught the box then the apartments on fire.. fire burns long after it's put out...
Jodie... hope the rib gets fixed... I blame it all on DH's knee... lol...
Lois.. wow, a whole week.. what trouble we could get into if we all showed up at your house...lol.. have him drop off some potato salad here on his way to the cabin...
Suzette, hope you find lots of shops
Jules, you will also need ice cream and pop corn for your pajama day.. sounds fun.. will you do each others nails too?... my toe nails are still red from the last nail-a-thon we had here...
Sandy, time alone is wonderful, hope you enjoy it.
Judi.. I am so glad you're home.. I think you need to be re-charged with a shop hop before your super powers come back... thank Ken for taking such good care of my (invisible) friend... I really am happy you're here...hugs
Scrappy Pat.. mmmmm, tomatoes... so far we have had onions, tomatoes, zucchini, and summer squash... Jerry chopped it all up and sauteed it in butter added some chicken and put it over rice, it was the best meal ever.. nothing beats your own garden...
Maryq.. have a great day,
Mary z...glad your Christmas swap blocks are done.. and you will likely have a SP surprise waiting for you at home.. it's really good to be you...
that's it.. I'm off to take a shower then to cut up my Christmas fabric...
hope you all have a super duper day,
Chriss
