Rainy Monday, June 10th

Boy it is soggy here.
It is pouring rain here right now. That is why it is 2:20 am and I am awake. I got started on my Quilts of Honor quilt yesterday and it is going to look fine. I was concerned it wouldn't look right because I didn't have the right number of print fabrics. Well, it looks fine. Thank goodness the quilt police aren't very active in my area. Have a great day and stay dry if you are in an area like me where it is pouring.

Good morning/night Suzette. Sorry you can't sleep. I am sure your QOH quilt will be beautiful.

I am waiting on my last load of laundry to go into the dryer so that I can go to bed. It is 11:30ish here in the Great PNW and I need to get some shut-eye because tomorrow(today) it is back to the ol' grindstone. Note: DH STILL hasn't brought home the winning lottery ticket! Sure wish he would so we could retire! LOL

Well, the buzzer just went off...now to toss them into the dryer and head off to bed.

Sweet dreams....I'll check back from the office.

Mel - my hubby hasn't brought home the winning one either. It is so funny when the lottery gets high how we start to "spend" money we haven't won yet. Mine is, add onto the house and build a garage with space above it for my quilt studio. Hubby would have the downstairs part of the garage for his lawn tractors. Dream on. . . . .

Good Morning Ladies,

Well today is back to work for me I spent a wonderful day with my DD Sandi we went shopping and we came back she said lets go get our hair done well mine only consist of getting a haircut but she decided to get highlights and a haircut she looked great and no their weren't any GKids visiting and that was fine sometimes she needs to have a break.

Today when I come home I have 2 loads of wash to do .

Suzette don't worry about your QOH Quilt police won't check them they are for a good cause Im in the process of making one to send to my friend who is very active in this.

Good Morning.....

We are expecting rain tonight & tomorrow. I'm not looking forward to driving to Long Island in the rain. I got a lot of quilting done ...my thumb sore from pulling that needle. Today will be a little laundry & packing & going to the bank.

Suzette - sorry about the rain. I'm glad our local quilt police aren't active as well. If we won the lottery I would also remodel to have my dream sewing hole, complete with furniture and some sort of fabric display.

Mel - is your DH buying tickets? That's what we forget to do.

Lois - sounds like you and Sandi had the perfect mother/daughter day.

Kathy - hope your thumb heals up quickly. We'll be praying for your drive to LI and the stay. God bless you for looking after your DD.

Vicky - sorry to hear that life has been ganging up on you. I'm glad there's an end in sight.

Eplawyer - we're so glad you're here! This is the best group of women anywhere.

I've been up since 5:30 - we need to get our walk in as early as possible. This week it's high 90s until next Monday. No sewing for me until Wednesday - another DGS will be here tomorrow and Wed, but his a real Grandpa's boy so I'll have time to sew. Good Morning, It is rainy here,,It was pouring through the night, We had the window opened and th rain smelled so fresh.

I have uglies to do today. Sheets to change and running the sweeper/ Everyone spends the lottery money before they get it. me too.

I worked on the dress last night. It is a challenge. DD came and looked at it she thinks it is beautiful

Wedding shower was very n ice, They own a house and have been living together for over a year so they got things like a took box and a weed whacker and coolers, Call me old fashioned.....................

Need coffee and I hear a voice overhead saying "Ladies, Start your washers!"

and now it's time to fix my breakfast and address my secret pal package...today I leave early for a doc appt.. every so often they do a look at my heart, we will see what they say this time...
