Good Morning Everyone,
It sounds like Everyone had a great day yesterday I did go to the fleamarket but didn't find 1 treasure so oh well that's the way it is.
When we came back we relaxed for a while then I went to target with my DS and I picked up 2 white pantry cabinets to put my fabric in so now IM a happy camper because I have been looking for something for a while now.
Well I Hope Everyone Has A Great Day.
Prayers Go Out To All In Need.
Lois .

Good morning Lois and those that follow.
I don't have long this morning. I slept till the alarm went off this morning. I had a wonderful Mother's Day. I am almost finished the baby quilt. I have to look at it to decide if I want to add one more round of border then it will be done. I like using panels. Makes for a quick project. Have a great day.

Good morning quilty peeps.
Lois, too bad you didn't find any treasures at the flea market. I haven't been to one in years. My BFF and I used to go all the time when we lived in Germany. Man, we found some awesome treasures!
Suzette, is today a work day for you? Hope you have a great day.
Hope everyone enjoyed their special day yesterday. We did a little bar-b-q with the kids and had a great time.
DS#3 brought his new girlfriend, who I just adore (that's probably supposed to be "whom", isn't it!). DGS was very smitten with her. When they were leaving, he ran to the car...I thought he was trying to get into the front seat with his Uncle. The GF asked him what he was doing and he said "Nothing, I am just opening the door for you". It was too cute. I have never seen him do that before.
I was worn out...went to bed at 9 p.m. Woke up at 1:30 and here I sit, can't go back to sleep. Guess I better try, though, have to get up in a couple of hours to get ready for work.
Well, guess I will mosey on back to the bedroom and try to get a few more winks. I'll try to check in from the office.
Have a splendiferous day.
Hugs,
Mel

Good morning all. Hope everyone had a good Mother's Day. Mine will come today. My DS's ship the Green Bay is supposed to dock in San Diego at 6:00 p.m. this evening California time. I will be so happy to hear his voice and see him on Skype.
I have posted a couple of questions about DJ over on the DJ forum. If you are a Janiac I would appreciate it if you would take a look and give me suggestions.
Well, better go get DH some breakfast. I think it will be something quick. Sausage and egg sandwich, juice, and coffee sounds good to me.
Hope everyone's day goes very well and you get to play in your sewing rooms.
Sherry

Good morning!
Lois - I'm so glad you found something to store your fabric. Pantry cabinets sound like a great solution.
Suzette - happy work day - I also like using panels.
Mel - how cute about DGS. I sure hope you were able to get back to sleep.
Sherry - the countdown begins! I'm excited for you. I'm sure someone can help you with DJ.
We're getting ready to go for a walk - it's going to be in the low 90s. I guess summer has decided to come right now. Have a great day! xoxo Sharona

Maryz.. glad you had a great mothers day, you are blessed with your DIL....sorry about the birds, or happy about the birds.. guess we will never know forsure....
Jana... I am curious to see what happened at prom...
Maryq.. would love to see that cutie in her new skirt... I saw the pattern and it's adorable..hope you all had a great mothers day.
Lois, glad you found the cabinets you were looking for.
Suzette, I set my clock ahead 10 minutes and sleep till the alarm.. crazy I know but it works for me...I have a quilt top done.. just 5 inch charms that I am thinking of putting a border on.. not sure yet.
Mel, sounds like DS found a nice lady, and I love that DGS is a bit smitten too...makes me happy that they are happy.
Sherry I am not a Dear Jane person but do have some advice....RUN to the hexi side.. don't look back.. Jane is driving people to drink... hexi's are calm and relaxing and the sharp points aren't too sharp...lol...
Sharona, enjoy your walk

Good Morning, My Wings won last night and I stayed up till 1am to watch. They really stepped on the gas. Chicago is next. I am tired today.
it is cold and sunny here 36. we covered the garden last night so need to go uncover it...great use for all the old sheets.
it will go up to almost 80 this week. I have to get out to the camper and put up the new wallpaper. It will be a quick job except for one piece that goes around the kitchen and around a window lotsa custom trimming. I also will finish getting it ready to go...Clean sheets and such. My new microwave is in and works it was a bit of a job but thank you Velda the great suddestions on how to dress it up,
I did mnage to get the borders sewn on to the El's Kitchen 6 inch...now the applique and quilting I am also doing the scalloped border so a long ways to go. But it is an adorable little guy.
Well I need to get moving,,,hope you all had a great Mother's day we sure had fun, Lotsa food and fun and they all left about 330p so I liked the lunch thing,,,pizza, fresh veggies, crackers and cheese...and done.
Still have some crayons and papers to clean up. Pa was a big hit he made paper airplanes and the boys flew them outside....it was a little windy so they flew very well. Low tech toys.
Well I really would like to stay and chat but I need coffee...XXXOOO

Good Morning!
LOIS - sorry you didn't find any flea market treasures, but on the bright side, you came home with all your dollars intact so you could go buy fabric cabinets! Sounds like a better deal to me! And you know we all want to see pictures of your stash all neatly stashed in those cabinets!
SUZ - looking forward to seeing your baby quilt finished!
MEL - So happy you like your son's new GF. And it appears that your DGS does, as well! The things he says always crack me up! He's such a cutie!
SHERRY - Bet you're doing a happy dance today! I would be so excited! I wish you could be there to watch your son's ship pull in. That is such an amazing sight. (much better than them pulling out!) I'll pop over to the Janiac thread and see what's going on there.
SHARONA - you have 90*, and yet 3 weeks ago, my BIL couldn't get out of town to come pick up my sister because of a foot of snow! No offense, but Colorado is a goofy state!!
CHRISS - glad your Mother's Day was so special! And you better cash in those coupons PDQ!! Yes, DJ will drive you to drink, and I'm going along for the ride! lol!!
JUDI - have fun in the 'play house' today! It took Bill & I about 8 hours to do our trailer because of all the trimming around 8 windows, outlets, wall sconces, etc. We did the entire trailer. Are you doing your bath and bedroom?
Last night we watched the Long Long Trailer with Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. I can't believe that living full time in a 38 foot fifth-wheel trailer and our friends had never even heard of it! I let them borrow my book, too, to read while they are here.
I got all my uglies done yesterday Yay!! I'm taking my neighbor, Vicki, to the doctor this morning. She has Huntington's Chorea but has never seen a doctor because she has no money and no insurance and no income. So my doc volunteered to see her at no charge so she can at least get an official diagnosis and then disability benefits. This afternoon - not sure what's happening. We might go tour some gardens about 40 miles away with our friends. They leave Wed. and want Tuesday to put themselves back together after being parked for 2 weeks, so today is our last play day.
hope you all get to play in high cotton today!

Lois - cool that you got cabinets. I've never seen any at my Target. Sorry you had a flea market bust.
Suz - do you have to work today?
Mel - cute what your DGS did with the car door. LOL.
Sherry - glad your son's ship is coming home. I'm not a Janiac nor a hexie ho so I'd be of no help. I think you need to come to the needle-turn applique side!
Sharona - good for you. I really need to walk even if it's just on my dreadmill.
Chriss - I set my alarm 30 minutes ahead - LOL - and that works for me because I get the best sleep when I've hit the snooze button.
Well, Friday night Sherrie and her boyfriend came to the house and Saturday morning they cooked a big breakfast for me for Mother's Day. The Saturday evening we too my DGS, Gavin, to dinner for his birthday. Yesterday I started laundry and sewed a bit then we went to Verizon - it was time for new phones. I felt so tired so laid down to take a nap at 2:00. DH didn't wake me up and I slept until 5:30. Good grief. I thought I'd never go to sleep last night but, surprisingly, I fell right to sleep. I worked on my floral applique and almost finished the yellow flower and I worked on the RV quilt - all I have to do is make and attach the piano key border. And now I'm at work blah blah blah.
I hope we can all fondle fabric today.
