Tuesday, May 7th

Post by suzette58 » Mon May 06, 2013 9:54 pm

Good morning everyone.
We got some good news yesterday, we are going to be grandparents again. My youngest stepdaughter is due in December. The dr says the 19th. If I am not mistaken they will have to buy all new stuff. Their youngest is 7 years old. One of the furbabies decided he had to go out and woke me up early. I went into fabric withdrawal yesterday because I was so tired when I came home from work that I didn't go not my studio. I am using muscles that have not been used in a really long time. Oh well. It will get easier. Hopefully today I will get out there after work. I can start cutting the fabric for my next quilt. One of my cousins just became a grandma for the first time. I am making the baby a quilt using the Stonehenge for Kids fabrics. Well, I better go get my coffee. Have a nice day.

Good morning Suz and all who follow.

Suz congratulations on the new little one. Hope you can get to your studio after work today. We need our fabric fixes to help get us through.

I never made it here yesterday so after work today I need to go back and see what all is happening. For now I will finish my cup of coffee and finish getting ready for work. Hope everyone's day is blessed.

Suzette congratulations to you and the family.

Hi Mary. Have a great day at work.

Maryq congratulaions to Jen on her new little bundle of joy. I bet you can't wait to see him.

Carol your veggies sound wonderful. I didn't plant any tomatoes this year, but I have lots of herbs.

Miriam patato soup and hot buns sounds delicious. You don't have to worry about me not having nothing to do. If I run out of projects, (that will never happen,) I'll just start 5 more. lol

Sharona yes small aches and pains aren't bad as long as you're on this side of the dirt. lol

It's the end of my work week and I'm ready for a day off. I've been training someone and it's exhausting. I hope to get my ufo top finished so I can do something else.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning everyone. Suzette a new grand baby how wonderful.
Looks like another warm day here.Hubby is determined that the seeds he and the boys started will grow. He has had them in the starter cups for too long and nothing is happening but he won't listen. His next thought is to buy plants which I think is going to be the best choice.
Three blimps of aunt Martha's peonies and up looking strong and tall. Not sure if I will get any flowers this year, time will tell.
I wish everyone a d at filled with sunshine and flowers.
Travel safely and return often
Prayers and positive thoughts going out to all in need
AND FONT FORGET THST MAMO!!!!!!!

Good morning.. my goodness we had a weather change.. thunder and lightening.. it was crazy...Even Marilyn ended up on the floor in our room.

Sharona, hope you're feeling better today.. the Cali fires are way south of me... probably closer to Zfatcat (Lori) or Q7 (Carol) I am a good 6 or more hours from them...hopefully the tourists dont flick their ashes or toss their cigarettes as they drive up the road, it causes lots of fires...

Karlene.. I love your cardinal story.. we have a bird at work who fights himself in my side mirror, not as pretty as a cardinal but still cute..

Chickie.. I passed on your trough tomato bed info to Jerry.. too bad you can't get some kind of something to grow on the dam so the roots strengthen the dirt.. a ground cover of some kind? glad Odie will be his old self again.

Tina, glad you had a Jazzy weekend.. what fun... prayers for your sisters move... and how are you doing? any new info?

Carole, I am brilliant.. maybe we could set Jodie Aires up with the jerk... send her a love letter with his picture (or Cary Grant's picture if he is ugly) and see if she goes to meet him... sure worth a shot...lol

SharonS.. that silly DGD... wonder what she wanted with the needles..

Traci, you motivated me to clean up my scrap pile then you vanish for days.. hope you get to play with us oftener.

Maryq.. how exciting, it is so so good to be you.. congratulations grandma...

Suzette, congrats on getting to be a new grandma.

MaryRose hope work goes smoothly

Lori, yeah for the end of your week.. what a blessing

Chrissy, what is DH and the boys planting?

I am starting work 1/2 hour early today, Jerry has a chiropractor appt and Marilyn needs to be picked up from school... but if grandma gets released from the hosp. all of that changes and I go get her.

hope you all have a super day,
Chriss

Goodmorning to all. and a big Congratulations to the Grandma and Grandma to be. What happy news for today!

I don't have much to talk about today. Need to go to do laundry and then mail my May Lotto Blocks. After that, just another relaxing afternoon. Might even clean up the RV. It doesn't take long, but it always feels so good to have the place smell clean and look nice and neat!

Off to drink my coffee and watch my little birdy friends this morning.

Good Morning Girls

OH HAPPY DAY! My grandson is HERE! Elijah Thomas. 6 pounds 13 ounces. Now I'm really anxious to get on that plane! Two more days of work!!!

Congratulations to the winners of the "Name the baby contest" Miriam and Joan! I'm sure there's a quilt shop in Anchorage that I may have to find! Will mail your prizes when I get home.

Suzette...congratulations on the new little one due to arrive for Christmas! What a great gift he/she will make. I bet it's a little bit of a surprise! after 7 years!

Chriss... I'm looking forward to a good old fashioned thunder storm up here... great excuse to stay in an sew. I only get nervous when they talk about TORNADO warnings. Good news for Gramma! I bet she's anxious to get home!!

Judi... looks like it's going to be a beautiful day here finally! At least I haven't head the weatherman mention SNOW. Yes it's true... baby couldn't wait for Nana! One more load of laundry and the suitcase will be packed and ready to go!

Velda.. some days it's just good to sit and chill out and relax. I call it "National Slug Day" Doesn't happen too often, but when it does it feels good, kind of restores the soul. Hope you enjoy your quiet relaxing day!

Chrissy.... face it honey, men just don't listen PERIOD! You could go pick up some plants, sneak them in, and replace his starter seeds and say "WOW look how your seeds grew just like that! Must be a miracle"

Maryz..... where are you this morning.. Sleeping in?

Oh yikes,,. time for me to run and get ready for work! TWO MORE DAYS... can you tell I'm a little excited!

Maryq - congrats on that bundle of joy. I know you can't wait to get your hands on him. Give him a big kiss from me.

Suz - congrats on your soon-to-be grandbaby.

I'm back from our little quilt sew-in. Had an absolute blast. Now I've got to pay the fiddler. I'll be putting out fires here all day so I'd best get after it. First things first - QIAD and coffee.

I hope we all get to fondle fabric today.

Oh, tonight is guild and Karen Kay Buckley is our guest speaker. Can't wait.

Good morning all!

Chriss- No I didn't fall into my scrap pile and get lost forever! I just got busy and then lazy!

DD had her gender reveal party Saturday and its a .... GIRL!!

Next on the agenda this week is to get DD moved from Norman back to Tulsa (fun fun).

Then DS graduates HS on Friday, so I get to clean house and fix dinner for family and friends too.

SUZ - congrats on the new grandbaby!

I'm planning on going to a retreat on the 17 - 19 w/ some of my quilty BFF's (really looking forward to that!)

Then off to training for work in Columbia, SC for a week. After that, things should settle down for a bit!

Sending Hugs & Prayers!

Traci
