Good afternoon from warm, sunny, SW. Pa....Right now, it's 86 and I do have the AC on because I was baking....

We went to early Mass and then onto breakfast...It was fun, finally have most of the old gang back....The other Jim had surgery on his eye lids about a week ago and he's still pretty swollen...He said, he had it done about 25 years ago and it was nothing but this time, they had a lot of extra skin to get rid of..That's what happens when you get old, I can sure vouch for that....We then went TV shopping...DH has decided we need a bigger one in the living room...I hate to look, I just want to go and buy but we came home empty handed, this trip.....With the little TV I watch, it doesn't matter what we get....

We have nothing planned...The kids are all away so no one will be dropping in.....I might not even cook.....

Grammiequilts, I'm so glad you got in touch with Joanne...I was worried that maybe the heat got to her....

Mel, So glad to hear the Barnabas Cutie, is settling in....Our new fur ball has practically taken over most of the house, must to the dismay of the other 2 fur kids....They just look and you know they're saying, "oh boy, she's still here".....Jim just asked me what we were naming her which means she's found her forever home....With the other 2 being Kelly and Kally, this one needs an Irish name that starts with K, so I was thinking Kiley...Although we have been calling her Baby Kakes...Right now, she thinks no one can find her, she's hiding in my keyboard drawer...

Chriss, I can imagine how much fun you and Marilyn had shopping..I loved when I'd go with the girls....Jim is really doing fine...All that work he did, in all the heat, you'd have thought he was a teenager instead of being 80....I can't keep up with him and I'm only in my 30s.....

Jana, I would hate to have to start packing up my stuff...When we moved from the big house to this one, that was something...We had 13 rooms and went into 5...But, in the years we've lived here, I've accumulated a lot.....

Teresa, So glad you're back with us...BUT, an ear ache, that's no good...Gotta take care of yourself......

Well, I best get moving.....Time to take the banana bread out of the oven......

You all have a great day!

Home from Church and watched my Giants - I DVR it so I can see it when we get home - we won! Dh had to run over to his father's to help out -so not much else going on here.

I am so used to typing a letter to my missionary every Sunday afternoon for the past two years I am feeling kinda lost at the moment - but that will only last awhile!

I have a big pot of Minestrone Soup cooking - so I need to go and check that pot -

Glad that you are back Teresa! You were missed!
Judi - Way to go! It is always better to take their money than leave yours!

Irish - I get to expand all my stuff in the new house - it is three times the size of this one and I am pitching alot of what is here for new - fabric gets it own room downstairs! We have been in this house for 36 years - since the day we got married.

Well the soup is calling me

Have a great rest of the night!
Hugs
Jana
