Grammie, I am right in there with you for the hippie age but I always managed to have a big time without smoking the happy grass either.
Cathy, I had rather have that cantalope than that wacky weed that he found in his garden...9 lbs. sounds like a winner to me!!!!
Sarah you have really stuck with your goal today and gotten a lot done. I need a motivator. Gonna hit the sack after I doctor Trooper's foot...he is like a cat and licks his feet until he makes them sore. Night girls.

I was walking down the aisles of the School Supplies today @ WalMart and it is just mind boggling at all the diff. stuff they have now to choose from! It used to be so simple to get a box of crayons. Now there are umpteen diff types to choose from. Poor parents!!! I'd have a nervous break down. And spiral notebooks...so many to choose from again. It is no longer a simple thing.

I've never smoked pot and never been much of a drinker & I always had just as much fun as the rest & maybe more. LOL The idea of a night at the Graybar Hotel always scared me. LOL

Cathy,
I really haven't done much...still can't sew a straight seam. I still have some of the facial twinges that are just enough to keep me anxious that the really bad pains are returning. The medicine that I take is for MS and it makes me weak, dizzy, and just plain goofy. I have also continued to have some of the nerve endings in my face and hair that manifest kinda like shingles and they are painful. I just keep hoping it will go away but I am thankful that it is not as bad as it was for about 7 months.
Thanks for asking.

LOL Well I am going to have to see a 9lb Cantaloupe. LOL I was teasing him asking him if he was sure or if he had been drinking when he weighed it. Dad doesn't drink. LOL My DD chimed in that maybe he had taken up smoking stuff from the garden. LOL

I would tell you to have him ship me one of those big boys but we couldn't afford to pay the shipping costs on one of those.

Bless your heart Sue. I know you will be so thankful to get off the meds one day. And you will. I have faith.

Tell your Dad that I have a dehydrator that was allegedly used for processing those strange leaves that he can borrow if he changes the direction of his produce and if I can have a cantalope or two. LOL

Have we heard from Maryellen today? Hope she is doing ok. The part of my nerve that is damaged makes surgery too dangerous for me unless I am close to shooting myself and it is a do or die situation. Sounds like Maryellen is getting a good result if she does as the doctor says...hope she is getting along ok.
Gotta go and take care of Trooper before he settles in for the night.
Hugs and night.
