Back surgery can be a long recovery. ONe thing I learned 4 years after my back surg. is that excercise is key.... You have to keep your core strong or you will continue to have pain.

I didn't think they could legally let you go if you had a Workmans Comp injury/claim. What happened?

They can't let you go while the claim is active, but they can the the day the claim is closed.

There was a robbery, in the process of securing the store and tripping the alarm I tripped and fell, hurt my wrist reeeaaaallly bad.

When I hurt my back in 2004, I had to return to work within a year.... I could not return to my regular job, so they had the option of finding a job for me that I could do with my restrictions, they said they didn't have a job for me and let me go. Very sad after 10 years of employment. I think the boss, who was my friend, just did not look out for me. Lucky for me, my bosses boss really liked me and called me up over a year later and offered me a job.

That just does not seem fair that they can term your employment when you risked your life for them....

1. All the quilt stores is such close proximity.
2. Having a miss my kids moment.
3. Want to teach granddaughter about sewing/quilting, all the things Grandmas want to shre with their grandkids.

You know what I mean.
