Roben, 26 yds!! Holy cow how big a quilt are you planning on making girl??
The internet is great, we do most of our bills and shopping on it. As long as UPS or Fed EX can deliver it's great even when we are traveling. Bad news is that we don't do any ordering when in Canada, it's too complicated.
Pineapple Sage looks interesting, but sounds like it might grow to fast to take in the Motorhome....I'll check with a Nursery.

Just stopping long enough to tell y'all 'hi'. Still backed up at work. My job costing is off and I can't find it - grrrrrrrrrrrr. It takes up so much time. I hate it when things don't balance.

Last night I ordered almost 20 yds. of Christmas fabric from Thousandsofbolts.com and it was really good prices. I'm going to make a ton of pillowcases with the fabrics. Well, maybe not a ton, but 13.5 lbs. of pillowcases - LOL.

Before I get back to work I wanted to tell y'all that I washed my Pink Lemonade quilt last night. I had marked it for quilting with Crayola WASHABLE markers and every single mark washed out beautifully. Just wanted y'all to know that in case you were wondering. I'll sure use that method again. I will not, however, use flannel on a lg. queen quilt again. It was so heavy I could hardly get that wet thing out of the washer. Gotta go. Y'all have a great day.

My computer/internet is very ssssllllooooowwwww today. Is it just mine?

I am so happy to read that the Crayola Washable Markers washed out! Do you mind me asking what colors of markers you used? I had read on another forum & I can't remember which, that the green or blue might not totally come out but I cannot remember which color it was. My DD with the twins lets them use them and I know they get them on their clothes & they wash out, so I would think it would all come out. Thanks for letting us know Cindy.

Love ya

Cathy, I used blue until that point wore down too much and then I used brown and even a little purple. They all washed out just great.

I never thought about using the crayola washable markers. I am going to try it though. Thanks for the idea.

It's one of those days.....GGRRRR
Had two charges on VISA that we already contested and they showed up again. Bigger problem is that the old charges were on the old card which had to be replaced when there use fraud on that card in Feb. So how did these charges get put on a new number the people should not have?? My DH has no patients with this stuff, so I get to fix it. After 2 phone calls the lady asked if I could Fax a copy of our statement that we see on the internet because it doesn't show a line of text about "disputed charges of $XXXX". I have spent 1 1/2 hours trying to FAX it out of my computer, but every time I plug in the phone line there's no dial tone. Tried all lines in the house. So I call and leave a message that I can e-mail it and have it all ready, just need an address. Then my dang cell phone doesn't ring & she had left a message to just forget it, she thinks she can see what we see by getting another dept. to print it.

DH just came back from the store and asked if I got it Faxed. Told him the above, and he had the nerve to say, "I thought you were going to sew today!" It's a good thing he was across the room when he said that.

Sorry, had to vent. It's 2:30 maybe I can get something done.

Well, DH, son and 2 grands and I went to dinner at Mama's Grill. Thank goodness! Little Ryan talked non-stop all day and he wore me out! lol! DH and son have taken him with them back to the showgrounds to confer with son-in-law who installs ceilings for a living to look at the new steel tiles and the schoolhouse ceiling. They left Ashley (she's 12 and nice and quiet!lol!) with me.

Cindyg I'm so glad to hear about the Crayola washable markers!! Whooo Hoooo! I imagine they write smoother on the fabric than some of the quilting markers maybe?? Should be cheaper I would think.

I missed my nap today! So, even though I've done nothing...I'm still tired! lol!

Good afternoon
I babysat Cooper today, he's not feeling too good. He got 3 shots yesterday so today he was running a fever and just not his happy little guy self.
Thanks for the advice about the bugs on my tomato plants going to try it this evening, sure hope it works.
I have to say I learn more on this forum than I do anywhere! and not just quilting related either. Although when someone does mention a fabric or quilt gizmo I always go check it out. That's how I bought the quilt wizard, never heard of it til I read about it here. Thanks everyone.
Chriss, congrats on your son's graduation, it's amazing how fast time passes.
Joanne I guess I have a lot to look forward to. If Cooper is anything like his mom was he'll be like Ryan -20 questions and non stop! Guess this is pay back to my daughter right??
Going to watch the spelling bee on tv tonight. Those kids amaze me, half the words I wouldn't even know how to pronounce much less how to spell.

I love reading all the posts every day - you add to my boring life!!

Things are very busy around here still - all my kids are here with their families so we still have a house full and will be going to their home this week-end for a week.

I just finsihed showing my DDIL how to put a binding on a quilt - she made 5 Christmas stockings for gifts to her family and did not know how to bind them. The pattern is my original strip quilt as you go and she did a great job on them. We did all the names with the embroidery on my machine - It is nice to be able to sew again!!

So not much quilting for a week or so, but when I get back, I have a couple of quilts on the design wall ready to go.

Congratulations on the graduates- they have worked hard and achieved a great deal!!

Those ear candles work great - I was skeptical at first, but saw that they worked. It really helped my DS2 and GS.

I must go - the cry of a GS waking up from his nap beckons me

Have a great day

Jana
