Joanne, I have been to the "Henry Ford" Many times, my DIL and BIL are Ford workers. and the condo we are going to this weekend belongs to a Ford Dealer, my BFs Bil. We are Ford people. Next time your up here you WILL stop and visit.

God waters the garden when we are gone, so far we have not had a problem. My neighbor babysits my kitty and she will assist as needed. I am making her a "How Charming" quilt in true blue for all her help. I hope to get it quilted this weekend. If not she will get it in 2 weeks...she is a very sweet lady and won't mind waiting.

Have a super time at the casino. I will probably stop at the casino up north next week. My BF loves to go too so we will one night.bbl
Cindy have a great LONG weekend at the lake. Relax and Rest.

Morning everyone. I had a fun day yesterday, 2 trips to the hospital and an IV! Yay me! Wrote about what happened in my blog.

And I give, I've been looking for 20 minutes trying to find that stuff in the Projects from the heart section and I can't find it. Can anybody point me in the right direction?
EDIT: maggie sent me the info, thanks:)

I'm mostly taking it easy today, I have some *bad word* stuff to do, then I'm going to be trying to get some sewing done. DH has a 3 day weekend this week followed by staff duty, so after Friday I'm not going to have much time to sew until Tuesday. Still waiting on my stitch regulator to get here, so I'm just piecing tops right now.

Good Morning everyone. Last night I had a lot of problems here on the forum and finally could not go from any section to another or even page to page. Kept getting an error page. It seems fine this morning. Yeah!

The sun is shining beautifully and it is to be nice and warm today. I need to go to the Nursery & look at some annuals to plant in a few planters outside.

Maggie I still haven't sewn up the blocks I will be mailing to you but I'll get that done this weekend. Since you are close it won't take but a day to get them to you in the mail.

"T" I see you were up very late last night. Are you feeling okay? Don't over do things. You may still need to rest as much as you can. We over tire after being ill and it can do strange things to our systems, bodies & minds. So take care!!!!!! Everything will get done in time and fall into place. Health comes first. I don't mean to sound bossy, I care.

Well I hope you all have a fantastic day. I will pop back in later.
Love You ALL

Good (late) morning everyone! I'm off to lunch with an old boss and to pick up batiks while I'm in town - still getting used to be a half hour away from most things. I have my list of things to do, though, so I should be good to go once I get there. Sounds like everyone has a busy day planned - it's going to be almost 90 here later this afternoon, so I'm hoping to get done and get home where it's cool :-)

Have a great day, everyone!

Jameswife bless your little heart! I read about your hosp. trip. Not fun and scary! I hope today will be a better day for you. When you have these reactions doesn't it tire you? Take care girl!

Glad that Maggie gave you the direction you needed. It is getting to be a tadbit confusing. For my simple brain, the less unnecessary posting about a project the easier to follow or find the needed information. lol But I personally am easy to confuse. Sometimes that is why people tend to not join...too confusing. So we might need to keep that in mind for future projects and keep them short & simple as possible. Just my 1/2 cent and no offense meant at all. We all want these projects to be very successful and for a great amt of people to participate. It is an honor that we have an opportunity here to have this section of the forum. It feels so good to give to others and make someone feel cared about or to feel loved.

I Love You ALL

Good Afternoon everyone. DGD is down for her nap and I am enjoying the quiet-well, I was. It sounds like there could be a problem with the small horse group. DH and DS3 are doing some field work. Pray the rain holds off this week so we can get the crops in. Normally the state is over 80% done by now, and I think we are around 10% or some higher. It needs to be in ASAP or it won't yield much.
I finished a paper doll quilt for DGD this week. I made nine panels of the dolls, and sashed them with yellow, corner pieces were 2 1/2 inch squares of the paper doll pets fabrics, and the outer border and binding was a yellow and blue floral-NOT my True Blue-that's so pretty it needs some extra thought.
It's warm and windy and a great day to blow soap bubbles!! Sandy, off to check the horses.

Cathy-I hate going to the ER! I'm always exhausted when I come home. I spent the whole evening laying on the couch. DH had to do what I normally would have done. He did nothing but complain about how much he had to do. I told him he got off easy, he didn't have to wash dishes:)

My main problem was I couldn't find where the info was posted. I think that's because my brian isn't working today:) The day after I have benadryl I'm kinda walking around in a fog, and I had 2 doses yesterday. I probably still would have had to ask where it was, though. I tend to look at the titles of the threads, and if it doesn't make sense to me sometimes I skip it. Probably shouldn't, but I do.

I feel like I have accomplished so much today - I cut and sewed three blocks for various Projects of the Heart groups. I am glad to say I have also mailed all of them. Yeah!! Now on to other things!

Just checking in...My sis just called ...the nurse said my father will only live a few more days at best. My mother is 89 and she is not doing well with this news. I am asking a few prayers for her. If I'm not around you will all know why.

I've been lurking, but not posting much. What color on the hatchet block; do you want it signed?

I'm rushing to finish a quilt for the teacher in the room. Since I don't think she can even sew on a button, if I don't do my best work, she'll still be impressed.

I really like the Ford museum, but DH got a little shocked to see the plane he learned to fly in and his first bike there.

Off to eat, DH is in and out of town for the next 3 weeks. I get soooo much done when he's gone.
