Good morning All
Well it looks like we are going to get hit with the snow storm that we have all dreaded possibly 8 to 12 inches of snow.
I HATE SNOW.!.!
I will have to make my stuffed peppers today and then start sewing
the baby quilt that we cut the blocks for yesterday. I can't wait the start doing it because the colors are very pleasant they are all different yellows.
We went to Joann's for some but then we shopped in LOIS"S STASH. I think she has more stash than Joann's.

Have a wonderful day all and Happy sewing to all.

Good Morning! I feel your pain on the snow - we got about 4 inches by the time it stopped yesterday. The plows were miserably slow here, but we made a thread run into Omaha across the river; the main streets were just wet and the interstate was bone dry. I think I live on the wrong side of the river ;-)

Today is machine cleaning day, and she sure does deserve it. I finished up DH's Pine Crossing throw late last night (I'll post a pic later, he's sleeping in under it at the moment LOL) so today I get to plan out something else. DH did get my table all done, and I got to do the last of the quilting for the throw on it - I am so in love with this setup! We need to tweak it just a bit (it helps to be able to get to the machine's on/off switch LOL) and he still has to install the light underneath. I requested that for paper piecing, and since he likes the Mariners Compass so much he's obliging me :-)

I'm off to hunt dust bunnies - have a great day everyone!!

Off to work again today...wheee...

Has anyone else noticed that March's bills are already coming in?! Sheesh! Johnny on the spot, with the short month gone by. Thank goodness the weather is warming up and the furnace isn't running during the day any more. That should help. A little more money for fabrics and supplies...hee, hee!

Y'all have a great day, stay warm and enjoy your Sunday!

Good morning all. Woke up at 5:11 with a back ache (I think I need a new mattress) so got up to work it out.

It is raining here this morning in N. CA. I love to look at the pictures of your girl's snow but I don't think I want to live in it again.

Going to go clean up the sewing room a bit and then work some more on my Tattered Garden blocks. May cut out my shoo-fly blocks also.

Laundry needs done, vacuum needs ran, you know the normal weekend stuff.

Have a great day and be safe all you in snow country.

Good morning! We are expecting snow today! Roben, your table sounds wonderful, I know you'll enjoy it a lot! Be sure to post pics for us! My DH ended up getting some pre-fab cabinets to mount my Big Board on yesterday and I'm looking forward to having it for ironing backings, etc... Last night I FINALLY got a flannel UFO loaded onto my HQ and am going to quilt it today. I tell you, I had a Lucy Ricardo day yesterday, everything I touched I goofed up, including knocking my nice Rowenta iron off the ironing board, I was really hard on my toys yesterday! LOL! I'm going to try to play nicer today! The kids came over for dinner and we watched movies, had a really nice time. So, I hope to get that quilt quilted today and play with the micro-handles I got for my b-day. Everyone stay warm and have a nice day!

We are off to church today, an all day thing as we have a fellowship meal each Sunday.
I'm thinking of getting out my March birthday blocks tomorrow.
I'm trying to get little things done before my next "big" project.
I hope everyone has a blessed Lord's day.

Good Morning!

The sun is shining in Minnesota, but the temp it 4 BELOW!!!! Back in winter I guess!!! I've been stalling getting out of the house to get groceries, but I think I might have to brave it today! NO food in the house!

Going to throw in some laundry this morning and sneak in a few more stitches on baby quilt. Got most of the binding done on my Paducah quilt last nite and will finish that while I watch TV tonite.

msdeets, I'm with you ... I HATE SNOW!!! which makes me wonder why I live in Minnesota---except that all my kids and family is here! I'm so anxious for spring and summer and am actually looking forward to getting out and mowing the lawn!

Better get my arse in gear.... Hope y'all have a wonderful day!

Hi all!
I think I hate the cold worse than the snow. I like to ski and sled (when I was skinny and could fit into my ski pants!). But that cold, it goes right thru me. That's why I moved away from Chicago! I keep trying to get my family to come out here to CO, its supposed to be 64 today, we'll see. Its really cloudy now.

I want to try a tossed nine today, and I'm doing a scrappy Trip around the world too. Then there's the jar quilt...and borders on my crumb...might need to call off school tomorrow!
