*Smile*

Good Morning evry one.

We're having a Santa Ana wind blowing through these next few days.
Which will make the next few days feel like Summer.
Day Temps will be around 80*'s

I hope to go for a pick nick drive into the Dessert with Jeff.
It should be a perfect day to drive with the top down.

This is my 5th day smoke free 'again'.
The Nicoret gum helps a LOT.
Hopefully this time I'll stick with it.

I have all the ingredients in my crockpot to make split pea soup.
And the bread machine is set to have fresh bread ready around 8 am.

I wish and hope that All of you will have a pleasant and peaceful Sunday.

*T*

PS. Went back to correct a typo.

Good morning, everyone....are Tul and I the only ones up? LOL

Tul, enjoy your drive out to the desert...don't forget your sunscreen, it's been so sunny; you don't want to scorch! Did you see that big, luminous moon in the sky last night? It was sure pretty!

I really ought to clean today, and laundry is beginning to back up. Wheee. But now that I have thread for the green geese, I can get them finished up in between laundry and other tasks. That reminds me, the kitchen table needs a scrubbing...it has a coating of 505 spray from yesterday's purse project!

Nope, I've been up for a while.
I had a very disappointing sewing day yesterday, I got upset and put the backing away. I got it out this morning and ripped it and now I'm ready to get it back together. I'm in a better frame of mind to do it now.

My hubby did something to his back so he said he was staying home from church. As we had quite a bit of snow yesterday I decided we would all stay home. I don't want to drive an hour in it by myself with the children in the car.

The coal stove went out last night and the furnace didn't come on so I got up in a cold house, brrr! I need to get moving.

Have a great day!
Vicky

*UGH*

Thanks for reminding me *CJ*, with the meds I'm on (Levaquin) I'm suppose to stay out of direct sun-light, or lather up with sunscreen. I'll just use Bull Frog and I guess I should be okay.

Yup, the moon was very special last night. I went out a few times to go look at it. It was VERY light here during the night.

Vicky, it does not sound like you had a good day yesterday. I HATE having to take my sewing appart, but always feel better once I've done it. If I don't rip it, it'll become an UFO for sure. I hope you have a better day today Vicky.

*CJ* I think we're the only WEST coasters that are up and hopping around THIS early.

I'll pop in-n-out here today. I'm trying to keep busy, but am too drowsy to be able to sew a straight line. I've created some interesting quilt designs these past few hours while working with my EQ6. It's very addicting.

80 degrees!!!
I just reread your post and a green eyed monster sprouted out of me.

You want some company for a few months? I hate all this cold.

Good Morning all.....Well, if things weren't bad enough in our family....another saga in the life of SharonG/FL.....DD#3 took her 19 year old son to the airport to fly back home to MI where he is living with his dad (which is a story in itself!). A while later he calls and says he doesn't want to go back. He wants to live here again (I think he's learned his dad isn't that easy to live with). This is after his luggage is already on the plane and headed north. His college classes start tomorrow, so I don't know what they're going to do...except have a meeting advising him of the support he can expect from them and what they would expect from him. I don't know....kids!

I've been up for over 3 hours....think I'll have some toast and hit the sewing machine. I have just a little bit of sewing to do on an appliqued Boston Terrier, then I can start putting the rest of the quilt together.

*T* - They gave me Levaquin for bronchitis/pneumonia..I think I took it for 10 days and could have used a few more days, but I'm pretty much over that part of it. Just kind of weak yet....but strong enough to sit at the sewing machine!!!! yahooooo

Vicky, Sometimes getting it out of sight is the best thing, then the next time you pull it out, it's a breeze to finish.

Carole, Enjoy your green geese day. @:)

Good Morning...
80 degrees.... it's 8 here!! Just gives me a good excuse to stay inside in my sheep skin slippers and sew:)

Hope to finish the wall hanging I am making for work today-- or at least have it all pieced and ready to quilt.

Have a great day

Morning all!

A picnic sounds heavenly! It's all of 20 here today.

And yes that moon was amazing last night. I saw plenty of it, lol - I didn't sleep so good last night. Got up at 5 to work on an ongoing Bible Study so I actually might have my homework done for this week.

Heading to church here in a bit, then lunch with the kids, spouses and the LUCAS! Spent yesterday afternoon with DD, SIL and Lucas. The menfolk were blowing more insulation into their attic.

Hopefully home to sew this afternoon. I keep saying that and we keep ending up going places, lol.

Have a blessed Sunday - I'll check in later!
