Tuesday January 6th

Post by momof6quilts » Tue Jan 06, 2009 12:05 am

Good morning. I get to start the thread again today!

I hope everyone has a great day. We are having some old friends over this afternoon and I'm looking forward to the visit. I may put the borders on that wedding quilt today. I want it done and out of here so I can start projects for myself!

It is raining here this morning and icing up some not so bad in kentucky where I live but I have to drive up to Norwood Ohio to work and it looks ugly there so I called in and said I was not driving anywhere today. Ice just makes me a nervous wreck. My DD's school is delayed for one hour and I really am hoping it will close so I can keep her home. I might be able to get some sewing in today.

Good morning, everyone! Gonna be a rainy, thunderstormy day today-- perfect for sewing! :-) I'm hoping to get to work on my Flying Geese Mystery today. I missed out on doing it as a mystery, but after seeing how beautiful everyone's tops turned out, I definitely want to make one for myself! I'm about half-way done with the cutting, so just need to finish that and then start on the geese--- need practice on making geese anyway, so this will be good practice for me!

Hope y'all have a fun day! :-)

Good morning, y'all. It's raining today with temps in the 40's. Just plain yucky! By Friday we'll be up to a high of 80* and then Saturday we'll get another cold front. Somehow I've managed to stay healthy, physically anyway. So many others have "the crud". I'm knocking on wood. Last night I spent an hour putting together an intricate block - I didn't convert my measurements correctly and it came out too big so I tossed it in the trash. Gonna do a different block tonight and then get busy on either my Pink Lemonade or sewing down the binding on my other quilt. I hope y'all have a great day.

Good Morning!!

It is raining, yea!!!!!

We have had the driest year in 2008 and really need the rain desperately. We are also already considered in a drought and it is not even Spring yet, so the rain is desperately needed here.

I have some sewing to get done today and then need to go look for something with a Harley Davidson logo. I have searched for fabrics but can't find anything, the only thing that my google search turned up was sheets and pillowcases at JC Penny, so I may have to resort to using a sheet or pillowcase. We are invited to a 50th birthday part of a lady that works in DH's office and she and her husband ride Harleys. I thought I would put together a tote bag or backpack for her in Harley Davidson fabrics, if I can find some.

SewSew Did you look at equilter. I found some motorcycles when I looked. I hope the link works. https://www.equilter.com/cgi-bin/webc.c ... earch.html

Well I tried it and it you will need to put in Harley Davidson in the search box.
